I can achieve everything I’ve ever wanted
I love love love slow mornings
reading ‘a little life’ is a pure horror and i’m not even half way through
“I want to date older guy” this, “older guys do it better” that… girl you’re sixteen, you would not handle an age gap relationship no matter how ‘grownup’ you think you are
gym quide - how to start going to the gym without the stress
I went to the gym for the first time over a year and a half ago, and I didn't have a clue what I was doing. At first, I only went with my boyfriend and stuck exclusively to cardio. Today, however, I can proudly say that I’ve developed a solid workout routine and finally feel at ease there. But I remember that intense anxiety, which is why I’ve put together this guide to help you feel confident at the gym and do the workout you actually want to do—not just the one you aren't afraid of.
STEP ONE: Get comfortable with the environment
Honestly, starting with just cardio isn't a bad thing. It helps you feel more confident exercising around strangers. Try going to the gym twice a week just to be there and get used to the setting. Focus entirely on yourself—watch something or listen to your favorite playlist.
STEP TWO: Everyone starts somewhere
You need to realize that everyone was once new to the gym. So, don’t be embarrassed if you don’t know how to use a particular machine. There is nothing wrong with checking YouTube to see how to operate the equipment. Remember: proper technique is more important than lifting heavy weights! You could do your first workout with a personal trainer (some gyms offer a free session for new clients), but honestly, you’ll do just fine looking up instructions on your own. I particularly recommend YouTube over TikTok—and if you do use TikTok, look for credible experts rather than random influencers. Don’t stress about it!
STEP THREE: Change your mindset
Most people go to the gym to achieve their dream physique. That’s great motivation, but it can also be a bit overwhelming at the start. When you’re just learning the basics, focus more on health and strength. Instead of thinking only about the look you’re aiming for, focus on building a solid foundation. Look up information online and create a simple, consistent workout plan. I recommend following bodybuilders and athletes—they might not have the exact physique you aspire to, but they know their stuff. Many fitness influencers don’t demonstrate proper technique or offer educational tips; they focus mainly on showing off their muscles. At this stage, your goal is to build a base. Once you have a plan, stick to it until you feel confident and notice an increase in strength.
STEP FOUR: Expand your routine
Start introducing new exercises as you gain confidence. You should feel more at ease in the gym by now, so begin slowly adding new elements to your workout. Remember to keep learning and ensure proper technique for every exercise. This is also a great time to start working towards your dream physique.
I hope these tips help someone on their gym journey.

things to do to better understand yourself
journal:
Journaling had become such a big part of my life. I mostly write about my true deep feelings in certain situations. I also like to include journaling about my every day silly thoughts. I want to try answering questions that you can find online, because it’s a good way to start thinking about things you might haven’t before.
stop always listening something:
Stop listening to music or watching something in a background when you do activity that don't require it. For example when you clean your room, just start asking yourself random questions or just talk to yourself about that one situation you do not want to unpack. Stop keeping your mind busy with constant noises
pretend to be interviewed:
This one might seem a little silly, but it's great thing to challenge your mind. Pretend that you're being interviewed or you're in a podcast or sth. You can answer more vain questions or more deep ones.
do activity you would've never do alone only by yourself:
Go to the dinner, movies or gym alone and challange yourself. Try doing something you would rather do with a friend or partner just by yourself to see how will do without consulting someone about it.
create your vibe:
Go and create the Pinterest board that truly gives the vibe you want to have, playlist of your favorite songs and artists, write down the books, movies, shows etc. that you love. Look at things that you truly loves and the vibe you gives. What they say about you? Maybe where you can explore something new.

you are unique, just not so special
From a young age, we're told that everyone is different and special. We're taught that there's no one else in the world like us. Therefore, growing up, especially as teenagers, we believe that no one understands us and that we're on our own. The truth is, each of us is unique. We have our own personality, which, even if it resembles someone we know, is based on our unique experience. Everyone views work in their own way, understands it, and approaches it differently.
However, the older I get and the more people I meet, the more I realize that we're not all that different. This might be hard to swallow, but to some extent, we're all replaceable. Of course, no one can be literally replaced, but that sentence has a certain depth to it. So why do I mention it?
Reason number one is the ongoing 'cool girl' olympics. We have a constant need to stand out from others, especially other girls. I'm not talking about the 'pick me' stereotype, but about the inner need to feel like we look more original, think more maturely, and do better than everyone else. We constantly feel the need to project this cool persona that people envy. Maybe some of us don't admit it, but we all do it to some extent. When you start to realize that you're not that special or different from others, you can lose a little. Of course, the need to be special never goes away, but it stops consuming you. It's easier to connect with people and build a good circle of friends when you're not working day in and day out.
The second reason is that it helps you move on. Unfortunately, people come and go. That one guy you meet at 16 isn't the love of your life. It doesn't matter if you and that one friend don't talk anymore because you've gone your separate ways. It doesn't matter if you move on. During a heartbreak, you might feel like there's no one else like that person for you and you'll be left alone. But there will be someone who understands you like that 'one and only' does. Maybe that random girl you befriend at work will be your saving grace, or she'll disappear, like your high school friends. Eventually, you'll find your loved ones, and you won't be lonely just because you stopped talking to someone.
Of course, this kind of thinking should be approached with a grain of salt, as it's important to treat yourself and others as human beings with emotions and memories. My point is to stop taking everything personally and just live your life. People come and go, you don't have to be the only one in the room. Just live your life in peace.
