We cannot change, we cannot move away from what we are, until we thoroughly accept what we are. Then change seems to come about almost unnoticed.

I love being around people and I love being alone. If I spend too much time doing either, I start to lose my mind.

PSYCHOLOGY FACT #592
Studies show that the walking through a doorway causes memory lapses, which is why we walk into another room, only to forget why we did.

I consider it a great sign of respext when someone takes both headphones out instead of just one to listen to me.
A painter in Los Angeles kept missing his exit for the I-5 on the 110 highway, so he did his research, climbed up the overhead sign, and changed it himself without anyone noticing.
This is Richard Ankrom. He couldnāt find his damn exit, cuz it wasnāt properly labelled. Ā
So he took life by the balls, like any self-respecting Californian would do, and used his sign-painting expertise to fix it himself.
He called it āguerilla public service.ā Even got himself an outfit to look official. It worked, obvi.
Caltrans investigated, but the sign was actually up to code. They left it there for 8 years before they made an updated sign.

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short, but scream it at them in German because life is also confusing and scary.
Why are we embarrassed by silence? What comfort do we find in all the noise?

I always wondered why my gym is empty on friday nights until I realized friday nights are why people go to the gym.
āI was the best student in my high school. I put so much pressure on myself. I never failed a class. But I got sick during 10th grade and I started to fall behind. Thatās when the panic attacks began. One day the teacher handed me my grade report, and I couldnāt breathe. My heart was beating very fast. I felt disconnected. I saw people trying to talk to me but I couldnāt hear them. Eventually I passed out and woke up in the infirmary. The attacks were almost daily after that. Last year I started college. And I canāt be the best student here no matter how hard I try. Everyone is so talented. My panic attacks got so bad that I had to cancel my first semester. But now Iām working on acknowledging my anxiety. I used to try to hide it. I would log off social media. I wouldnāt answer calls. I thought that if nobody knew, it didnāt exist. But the more I talk about my problem, the more I realize that other people experience similar things. So Iām trying to express it more. I had a great teacher who told me: āInstead of letting anxiety keep you from doing your art, let it be the thing that motivates your art.āā (BogotĆ”, Colombia)
