Some years back I encountered a video about someone's molecular gastronomy project which featured food so deconstructed and reconstructed you could not tell what it originally was. And it was Not reassembled in an aesthetically pleasing way. It was legit body horror.

They had sauces filled with the molecules necessary to fuel biochemical processes like muscle contractions to make it move. There was a dish that had dark spindly slime tentacles that slowly opened and closed. It was something you'd see crawling around in a derelict space station in a horror film. A bag thing that expanded and contracted like it was breathing. A trembling slab of flesh.

Does anybody know what I'm talking about.
