I tried to put together a recap of the Las Vegas Day 3 and 4 concerts but things got all jumbled in my head so I decided to write about certain moments instead.
Las Vegas Day 3 moments
The light show during MIC Drop. My seat was in the 300 section and the light show was amazing from up there. The laser thin blue lights moving up and down and across the stage were fantastic! I didn’t see that on the livestreams.
Screaming during MIC Drop. The fanchant wasn’t as loud as I thought it would be but maybe it was just in my section. But screaming MIANHAE EOMMA! at the top of my lungs was so satisfying.
Hobi’s verse in Run BTS where he said the members’ names. The contrast of the dark screens showing every member as he called out their names vs. the light shadows of people running on the stage beneath them was so cool. Dark vs light, individual vs. group. Whoever thought of that effect was a genius.
Attack on Bangtan as one of the surprise songs. I realized I didn’t know all the lyrics to the song but it didn’t matter because I had fun screaming Bang! Tan! Son! Yeon! Dan!
Seeing Namjoon when he walked on stage and during the first hour of the concert. He had this aura about him. Not arrogant but cool and commanding. And I saw WHY he was (chosen as) the leader. I thought about it and he reminded me of Neo from Matrix. I mean the original Matrix movie, not the sequels. To continue with the Matrix metaphor, he was THE ONE.
Yoongi cat! My first thought when I saw him was ‘Cat! Cute cat! Cute angry cat!’ I couldn’t believe I forgot about his rapid fire delivery. When he did his openlng verse in Body to Body, the words exploded so fast, I couldn’t keep up. By the way, I love the line B-T-uh, from everywhere to Korea.
Hobi on stage. The last time I saw him during Hope on the Stage tour, I felt energized yet comfortable at the same time. This time, I felt a jolt every time he showed up onscreen because his stage presence was electric. What a rush!
Tae’s voice. His speaking voice was deeper than I thought and his falsetto was higher than I expected. That was a lovely surprise.
blonde highlights looked so fluffy in the back. And I understood why people said his hairstyle reminded them of Yeontan.
Double awww time. Jungkook said nothing compares to this view (of ARMY). Awww. It was incredible to see ARMY out in full force but seeing all 7 members together on stage was THE best view. Jimin said ARMY got an award. Awww again. BTS won the 2026 Artist of the Year at the AMAs because of ARMY and Jimin acknowledged it in the sweetest way. Both things could have sounded uucheesy but it felt sincere coming from them.
Jin’s hand kiss. I knew it was coming and thought I was prepared. Nope, not at all. I felt half giddy and half shy and couldn’t stop smiling. Seokjin, you charmer!
JIn being right. He said the most accurate thing to ARMY: You will have no voice, your feet will hurt and tomorrow when you wake up, you will feel so tired. Yes, yes and yes. He was speaking from experience.
Oh, I almost forgot. Tae said, “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!” Heheheh. Well, not really because so many pics, gifs and vids got posted and shared.
