Nice animation of two koi swimming great reference for my animation in the scene with the koi chasing the sinking seedling.
More character creation reference for my koi character I like the texture used aswell which is a good reference, because my animation will be all hand drawn chalk animation.
My blog will impress you
cute koi for more detailed reference

Excellent koi in motion helpful for my animating research! :)
CUUUUUUUTE! Struggling to get a 3d like effect of my koi fish when drawing, this picture is perfect to help with proportions and giving my hand drawn 2d drawings a more 3d appearance.Ā
beautiful, i love the water ripples and bubbles that are seen.
Wow. Amazing inspirational street art!
OOOOOOH! this is the exact research i want!!! for the koi coming out of the water but with its tail still quite blurry hidden in the depths of the pond

Nice image that Iām referencing for a water ripple Iām animating at the moment :)
I like the big ripples that are interlinked with each other, instead of just a singular big ripple these many ripples above help to understand the movement in water.
These is the opening scene to an anime called card captor sakura where you can see some animated water ripples very simple but yet so beautiful :) love the anime too its something nice to watch and chill out too :)

Leaf on the water with ripples surrounding itĀ
Falling leaves reference for a test animation Iām planning to do, where a seed from a bonsai tree falls through the air after a windy storm and then falls into the pond close to the tree.
Above is my other tumblr account, I was meant to post the above on this page.
More leaf referenece, although I want a more three dimensional feels to my animation not just the leaf falling in the wind but twisting and turning and being buffeted around by the intense force of the wind.

From āWinterā (1923), a lyrical documentary short that was part of the āSecrets of Natureā series. Footage courtesy of the British Film Institute.
This is a nice example of a leaf twisting and turning in a three dimensional way which is something I was looking for my animation test research.

This is a drawing of a chinese elm seed, which is the seed I am using for the āmain characterā as it were for my animation project, except that the chinese elm is actually a bonsai tree in a miniature japanese style garden, I chose a chinese elm seed because they look like the seed is trapped inside a leaf and that if it fell from the tree it would be able to float on the wing like a leaf would.
