frankly it’s been a long time coming, but i’m just done at this point.
soz for typing in english, it’s the easiest way for me to communicate
the first and major reason i am leaving is bc i have lost the passion i used to have when creating edits for this fandom. idk if it’s due to my age or the lack of activity that i see on tumblr or that my interests are just branching out, but ultimately the spark is gone and i no longer want to feel obligated to creating edits.
the second reason can be considered quite selfish of me, but it’s how i feel and i believe that i have the right to be a little bit selfish when it comes to the content i post. i never asked for much. just that you credit my work if you repost it on other social media. but naturally a lot of people can’t even do that and oddly enough i understand why, but that doesn’t make it okay.
listen, i don’t want to generalize all of you bc there are some kind souls who do give credit where credit is due, but when i see my edits circulating other social media site (hell, even here on tumblr) with some cutesy caption and no acknowledgement, i get pissed. bc in my mind i see a person who has spent a few minutes of their life saving my edits and reuploading them for the sake of getting a bunch of retweets and likes and i compare this to the multiple hours i spent creating that edit in hopes that someone would see it and smile. i used to just call out people for doing it, but at this point it happens with everything i post and frankly i’m just tired.
if i’m being honest i have written at least five drafts of goodbye messages for this account over the course of this past year with various explanations as to why i’m leaving, but after the last one i wrote in june i decided that maybe if i just wait until the new kn movie comes out then maybe it will reignite the spark that i seem to have lost. but then i see what happens with my edits anyway and realized it’s just not worth it anymore.
so thank you to all my friends that i’ve made on here, hopefully you all think of me fondly and i beg that you keep in touch with me. to those still blogging here, keep it up. please. i may be petty but i know that there are so many of you out there who are so talented and you need to share your talent with the world so that the right people can appreciate it. and please know that if anything ever happens and you need me to back you up, just contact me and i will not hesitate bc you guys have meant a lot to me over these past 3 years.
to my followers, i cannot even begin to describe the joys you guys have brought me. truly. i cannot thank you enough for being even mildly interested in the things i did and put on here. special shout out to those who remember me as kathnielgifs ;)
kathryn and daniel will always be special to me and you can bet i will continue to follow them, but frankly i just don’t see the pros of staying here anymore.
this probably isn't surprising, but i've been having thoughts of deactivating since i rarely have motivation to edit...i'm still undecided though but regardless of my decision i will never be as active as i used to be.

no, i do not plan on making gifs of psy. maybe i’ll do a cute moment here and there but tbh i’ve been so bitter/indifferent about that show so like lol nope
i do plan on doing another series (and finishing ones i’ve started) so i’ll probably use psy clips there but i seriously have no motivation to do scenes
in the meantime though, may i suggest @kathnicls blog for all your psy gif needs because bless her for being able to do them
So if any of you have been keeping tabs on me, you’ll know that I have been on vacation for the past few days, meaning I am officially off hiatus!! I was actually planning on making some edits as I catch up on PSY, but something unexpected happened...
My external hard drive broke. This means that I have lost pretty much everything I have of KN: movies, pictures, teleserye episodes, concerts, bts, music videos - everything. It’s unfortunate and I have actually been extremely upset about it because the drive also contained a lot of family photos and school files, however I am coming to terms with it.
Unfortunately this means I am going to have take a bit longer to get all my stuff together BUT I will be back on here reblogging and willing to talk to any of you, so don’t be shy :)
That said - any mutuals I have: HIT ME UP ON TUMBLR MESSENGER!! I’d love to talk to you guys without having to go through each other’s asks.
