GALERA RECORDS CONFIRMING ELRIEL IS BONES 😂😂😂😂
Sarah says hi.
Pretty colors only for Elain’s era 💙🩷💜
they'all are freaking out over a TBT from a publisher that's known for baiting readers just to sell more books. This is the same publisher Sarah J. Maas herself called out for mistranslations, erasing Black and LGBTQ+ characters, and they're even out here shipping Elain and Tamlin..
Meanwhile, everyone's ignoring the actual author's own words.
Seriously, there's no reason to treat this like it's some huge deal, because it isn't. Galera Record has been a joke for years. They really thought a new dust jacket would boost sales, but Brazilian Elriels are already so done with them. Now they're just trying to bait a different part of the fandom into buying the books, because the people who are actually waiting for the next book can't stand this publisher anymore.
lorcan kept holding elide after the attack just like azriel did after getting elain from hybern’s camp.
elorcan: lorcan still didn’t set her down, holding her aloft with one arm as he untied the ropes.
elriel: azriel still cradling elain to his chest.
endgame. ♡
“I think it’s telling Elain hasn’t rejected the bond yet.”
Maybe, just maybe, it’s because it’s something that needs to be done in her own book. I don’t know, just a thought I guess.
“her gaze shifted to the carved wooden rose she’d placed upon the mantel, half-hidden in the shadows (…) some sort of primal goddess perhaps even the Mother herself” — acosf chap 56
“but he could have this. this one moment, and maybe a taste, and that would be it.
“yes” elain breathed, like she read the decision. just this taste in the dead of the longest night of the year, where only the Mother might witness them.” — azriel bonus chap
elain & azriel true mates ♡

I really love how hands are a key detail in most of Elriel’s scenes. Azriel’s hand constantly finds Elain’s and holds it tightly, as if he doesn’t want to let go. It’s as if their bodies do this naturally. It’s as if their souls already know each other. 🥹🩷💙
taking elain out the picture for a sec, gwyn and azriel are genuinely such a poor match.
she is loud and bubbly, azriel craves peace and quiet.
he doesn't wish to be challenged, he just wants a home. gwyn is competitive by nature.
genuinely what is the thought process here. gwyn can't even tell when azriel wants to be left alone. in the bunch chapter she ignores all the cues about him not wishing to speak on being a shadowsinger.
compare this with his relationship elain (bringing her back in). per azriel's own admission, they don't need words to understand each other. it's that deep for them.
i'll never understand and frankly i'm glad i'll never have to.
On God what are we even saying at this point?
This is dumb. And yes I know the username is visible. I don’t give a fuck.
racism and misogyny in one tweet.
So, we're hating Feyre and Nesta too, because they have mates from a different race? Omg, SJM hates them too. How dare they give Feyre and Nesta a half-blood Illyrian and a bastard Illyrian respectively?
Saying that Elain can't be with Azriel because she might not be able to give him children, or because a pregnancy could be high-risk for her, is deeply problematic.
That idea reduces a woman's worth to her reproductive abilities and suggests that love, marriage, and the freedom to choose who you spend your life with depend on having a functional uterus and a safe pregnancy.
And honestly, what does that say about how people who make this argument view real women? What do they think about women who nearly died giving birth? Women who died in childbirth? Women whose anatomy makes any pregnancy inherently high-risk? Infertile women who spent their entire lives being told they could never have children? Women who simply don't want to be mothers?
Do those women not deserve to be loved either? Don't they deserve to choose their partners? Should their relationships be considered less valid because they can't, don't, or simply don't want to have children? The implication behind this argument is cruel: that a woman's primary role in a relationship is to provide offspring, and that if she can't fulfill that role, then another partner would somehow be a "better" choice. It turns women into incubators and treats motherhood as an obligation rather than a possibility or a choice.
No one would casually say that an infertile man doesn't deserve a wife, or that a woman should leave him because he can't give her children. So why is that line of thinking considered acceptable when it's directed at a female character? Elain is a person, not a womb. And real women are complete human beings too, with desires, dreams, limitations, and autonomy. The ability to become pregnant should never determine who is worthy of love, commitment, or the right to decide who they want to spend their life with.
Likewise, claiming that Elain and Azriel can't be together because they belong to different races is, without a doubt, a fundamentally racist argument. The idea that two people should be prevented from loving each other or building a life together because of traits they were born with echoes prejudices that were used in the real world for centuries to condemn interracial relationships. Love should never be conditioned by a woman's ability to reproduce, nor by the race she belongs to.
On God what are we even saying at this point?

If I say what this looks like...
I don't participate in ship war discussions anymore because it feels like endless masturbation without an orgasm. It's conversations about nothing, because if there are still people who dont understand that Elain is the next FMC and that the book will be primarily Elriel, with Vassien and a Mor-related romance in the background, then I don't know what to say.
Yet, I go on Reddit and something pops up and the discussion is about...Gwynriel and Elucien. WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? What 'Gwynriel'????????? Gwynriel never existed. It doesn't exist. SJM, BB, not one marketing outlet, not one publication, not one interview EVER mentioned Gwynriel. And then it's something along the lines of 'Gwyn understands Azriel'. WHERE? SHOW ME ONE EXAMPLE of Gwyn 'understanding' Azriel. In what capacity? What are you talking about? Where, in canon, does Gwyn 'understand' Azriel? 'So you sing, do you, do you?" is NOT understanding Azriel. That's the opposite of understanding someone. Not to mention that canonically it's Elain who understands Azriel. It's written by the author.
But honestly, this mass delusion almost 6 years later is kind of intolerable anymore. What the hell are these people even talking about? Especially after HOFAS and the podcast.
Sometimes, I feel like I am taking crazy pills. Why are these conversations still happening????
Sometimes, I just sit there and say 'huh?'
To this day only Elain has a confirmed book.
Welcome to my ted talk... 🫡
Skills issue if you cant get it tbh.
The ancient healer jerked her chin toward Lucien. “See what he can do. If anyone can sense if something is amiss, it’s a mate.” - ACOWAR
Rhys gave her a sharp look. But Elain said quietly, “The queen might come.” Silence. Elain was staring at the unlit fireplace, eyes lost to that vague murkiness. “What queen,” Nesta said, more tightly than she usually spoke to our sister. “The one who was cursed.” “Cursed by the Cauldron,” I clarified to Nesta, pushing off the archway. “When it threw its tantrum after you … left.” “No.” Elain studied me, then her. “Not that one. The other.” Nesta took a steadying breath, opening her mouth to either whisk Elain upstairs or move on. But Azriel asked softly, taking a single step over the threshold and into the sitting room, “What other?” Elain’s brows twitched toward each other. “The queen—with the feathers of flame.” The shadowsinger angled his head. Lucien murmured to me, eye still fixed on Elain, “Should we—does she need …?” “She doesn’t need anything,” Azriel answered without so much as looking at Lucien. Elain was staring at the spymaster now—unblinkingly. “We’re the ones who need …” Azriel trailed off. “A seer,” he said, more to himself than us. “The Cauldron made you a seer.” - ACOWAR
Love would trump even a mating bond - ACOWAR

What if the Cauldron was wrong? - ACOSF AZRIEL BONUS
"I truly believe love conquers all — love is an incredibly powerful force, both in this world and in fantasy ones" -SJM
“That’s something I find to be very interesting,” she replies. “What if the forces that be put you with the wrong person? Or what if you just decide, eh, I’m not interested. … There’s a lot to explore within the concept of mates and your agency about it. “I’m not going to say if I am exploring it in future books or not,” she continues, “but it definitely offers a wealth of things to explore with this concept of freewill and what is true love. Is it something that’s destined? Or is it something that you make? Is it both?” -SJM
I think Elaine's got like her own trauma and [___] that she's going through right now. I mean like imagine like being transformed into like a whole new body, a whole new lifestyle like you are gone from like a I don't know and like the human world there like what 60 years is a good life to suddenly like centuries like a millennium like the world looks very different and like surprise like you've been like forcibly like essentially married to like a stranger who also was like involved in bringing you into this world and like betraying you and like shoving you into cauldron. It's like a lot. She's proc she's got a lot of [____ ] that she's processing. And so like exploring like a concept of a free will like what does that look like with a mating bond? What like what does that mean? And like does nature like get it wrong sometimes? Does it get it right sometime? Like what? And like that again like as a writer l have to be like very I'm like I like to like find things that like make me interested. Like you get mated to someone and like you don't want to be mated. I'm like, like what what do you do? Like you're stuck with this person. Like what? Like what do you do? But like I mean the guy's like hot, but it's like what if it's not? Like you don't know. Like it's just it's something that like I really like find to be an interesting concept versus like Feyre and Nesta where it was so easy for them. Like nature picked right. - SJM
gwynriels really overestimate the appeal of a gwyn centric book to the masses. the same character that people say "who's that? i forgot" when she's brought into non fandom discourse.
nobody has ever had to ask who elain archeron is
