This is a portrayal of my Batkid oc,

4 year old "Tommy Wayne"—!

He is big-hearted, curious, and a little shy, often spotted attached to his siblings' or Papa's side like any good baby bat! Big ole eyes always looking up at people, and-- and... staring.

Err- Anyway! Still getting used to the family, certainly, lil Tommy is slowly and surely finding his courage amidst his chaotic Batfamily. As only four years old, his vocabulary is limited but far from non-existent, his mind sharp and full of far too much wit for a toddled.

His eyes inhumanly keen.

Note: Tommy's Mama is not a present figure, nor is it known who she is... however, he's still the byproduct of a supposed 'whirlwind romance that lead to him being abandoned on his Father's doorstep'. Or that's the media story, at least.

Knock on wood - The small toddler first comes to the gates of Wayne Manor, seeking safe sanctuary and refuge.

Bright-eyed, Bushy Tailed - Early in the morning, little Tommy takes to observing the ants of Wayne Manor.

Though Tommy hasn't experienced a lot, his family has, & so, therefore...

TW for things like: Pregnancy, Child Abandonment, Grief, PTSD, C/SA, Grooming, Suicide / Suicidal ideology, Mentions of torture, mentions of murder & general genre violence.

Appearance: With curls of mousy brown hair, and eyes told to be his Mama's same dark black-blue, little Tommy's is a little chubby guy, cheeks round with babyfat.

He's lightly freckled, pale, and his only claim to heroism is the tiny new scar on his cheek, gained from protecting his friend against a rogue frisbee. Along with a chipped canine tooth, of course

Small, round little toddler 'Tommy' mumbled to himself with a hefty sigh, sounding beyond his years. Asperated, he struggled on with writing his lines of ABCs.

If only his Mama was here to teach him... he missed the puppets, the silly voices, and the warm smile that filled her face.

He missed her hugs and he missed her kisses; most of all, he missed nodding off in her arms, listening to the endless tales of the Vættir, Trolls, and the wolves that chase sun and moon.

Little footsteps neared, rounding the corner and scurrying like a mad little mouse to shelter instinctively behind the Bat.

Bruce immediately tucks him under his cape on instinct, covering him from any danger.

“What’s wrong?”

Clinging to the Dark Knight's leg, the small toddler no taller than his knee peered up at Bruce with a confused stare.

"Shadow monsters."

He sited, as if the answer was the most simple truth of the world. "Protect me, peas."

He nods, keeping a completely serious face to humor the young boy.

“Ah, of course. Where are they? I’ll keep you safe.”

Shooting out a tiny chubby hand to point wildly outside of the cape, not daring to even take a peak himself, the tiny tot burried his face further into the Bat's leg.

"E- Everywhere!

They gonna eat me..."

Bruce turns on the lights in the cave, which are almost never used. Its still slightly dim, but it’s no longer only the glow of the bat computer and the display cases lighting the area.

“They can’t get you now. It’s brighter. You’re safe.”

Glancing out from his supposed 'safe zone', the small face of Tommy turned from blinking in surprise at the thwarted shadows...

Instead, he immediately jumped to staring up at Bruce in that pure awe only a child could hold.

"Addaaaa, Papa! Th- Thank you!"

Owlishly blinking, the tiny tot looked at the crayon in confusion. "...Not yummy..."

"Probably because it's not supposed to be eaten. Why don't we go get you something nicer to eat, hmm?"

"Yes peas," He nodded, oddly choosing to try eat the rest of the crayon ... for no discernable reason. "Not buberry???" He questioned, as if the properties of the crayon could've changed in the few moments passed. "Ew."

"No, no no no," Bruce gently took the crayon, sighing fondly. "Please don't eat crayons, chum. They never taste how you want them to. Would you like me to carry you to the kitchen, or do you want to hold my hand and walk with me?"

Watching the crayon be taken away, the confused toddler blinked at the options... and with a thousand thoughts behind those vacant eyes, he took to taking Bruce's hand with his own small and chubby one.

"Froot? Appie slices, Papa..."

"Apple slices sprinkled with cinnamon sugar? I know Dick's been spoiling you whenever he visits." Bruce walked with Tommy to the kitchen, moving slower than usual to keep up with his much smaller legs.

"Where?" Glancing around at the mention of Dick's name, the tiny tot glanced back up at Bruce in confusion. "...Cinonnim? Cino- Yes peas, a- and berries?"

"He's not here right now, but I'm sure he'll visit again soon."

Bruce pulled out a chair at the kitchen table for Tommy, then moved to get started on the fruit. Apple slices, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar, and a handful of mixed berries sliced in half.

Climbing his way up onto the chair, chuffing happily at his success, the toddler peaked over the table as best he could to try watch Bruce.

"Why's froot yummy??? How?"

"Hmm, good question, chum. There's a lot of reasons for things to be yummy, but most of it all comes down to something magical; flavour." Bruce placed the plate of fruits in front of the lil guy.

"Everything has a different flavour, isn't that so cool?"

Looking at his hands, the small boy very obviously wondered what everything's flavour would be... that gleam of menacing toddler curiosity seen in his eyes.

"Mud not yummy. Sand not yummy." He counted on his fingers, "Pupple crayon not yummy. Lellow crayon not yummy. Hmm... Oh! Froot and ice yummy!" He concluded his little pros and cons list, the tiny smartypants.

"Well, I'm glad you don't find sand or mud or crayons yummy. What other things do you find yummy?" He hoped the sweet tiny tot wouldn't start tasting things as an experiment, but he knew he more than likely would.

"Mmm... kann- kannygr- ...kann- . . . What Mama makes?" He puzzled on the word, far too little to recall the long name of his Mama's family dish. "Playdough's yummy, but Dick said no yummy ...
