Ahh, so he was right about something, hm? Goodness, Sharon’s face really did turn red in this sort of situation, didn’t it? How absolutely amusing. He was definitely enjoying this, and yes, he was fully aware of how uncomfortable she was right now. Between her harsh words and face, Sharon wasn’t really someone who could hide how she was feeling all that well. So much for the grace of a Rainsworth lady.
At her outburst, he only laughed, making it almost painfully obvious that he was having all the fun in the world, very much at Sharon’s expense. Did he care? Not in the least bit.
"Oh? Is my staring making you uncomfortable, Sharon?" Did that mean he was going to stop? Please, if you say something like that it’s only going to motivate him further. You should know this by now. And your attempt at smacking him? Weak at best. As if a little thing like that would do anything but bring him more entertainment. Maybe they should have mornings like this more often.
So, should he finish up with his plan already, or keep it going a little longer? Tough choice. Didn’t want to ruin it by waiting too long, but for now it should be fine, right? Yes, let’s go with that. It’s not like she had any hope of throwing him off anyway, let’s be honest.
What part of "GET OFF" is he failing to comprehend?
Though in hindsight, Sharon probably shouldn't have said anything about the staring, because it appears to have been the equivalent of digging a grave and flinging herself into it. Honestly, give Break an inch, and he takes a mile, and the last thing she needs is him staring even more just to get a rise out of her.
He knows exactly how his actions are making her feel right now.
Another comment like that and she won't hesitate in hitting him. Properly, this time.
But you know what? There's no sense in denying something so obvious, so she might as well be blunt. Give him no other leverage and he'll become bored soon enough. He's such a child.
"Yes."
The hands that were covering her face fall away as she gives him a scowl.
"It is making me uncomfortable, actually."
She sits up a little, leaning back on her elbows for support, trying to appear more menacing the closer she gets to Break's face, though the desired effect doesn't really come across. (But don't tell her that.)
"Now please get off or so help me Xerxes Break I will not hesitate to--"
It's then that Sharon spots something she'd quite forgotten about, and as she flicks her gaze up and to the right to stare at the wayward flick of her fringe, she is suddenly reminded of what she was trying to hide.
And now he has a close-up view.
Well isn't that just fantastic.
The fight drains from her instantly, and she freezes before flopping back down to the mattress to finish her deflated threat.
"...Do something you won't like..." She grumbles.

Was she acting strange this morning? It seemed like it, but perhaps he was wrong about that. Maybe he just always thought that waking up beside someone in the morning would mean drowsy pillow talk and lazy kisses, but it was entirely possible that he had been wrong about that. It would stand to reason, he was wrong about a lot of things. They didn’t exactly fall asleep that often with each other either, and usually one of them would be up before the other and they’d skip the whole morning routine anyway, so he was really in to position to be assuming things. Sharon was normally a frazzled sort of person at times, but he just couldn’t figure out what had happened this morning to put her in that state. Her pajamas weren’t immodest, he didn’t harass her about the staring thing, so what was it?
Or perhaps he was looking too far into it. One thing was for sure though, there was no way he was letting her suffocate under that blanket.
Keeping the sheets away from her, he shifted his position so that he was sitting on her instead of flopped over, one leg on either side of her body. Curiously, he watched her for a moment, not yet bothering to reply. Maybe he could get some clues as to what sort of thing was going through her mind, who knows.
"Are you trying to hide from me? What’s with all the blanket tugging, hm? You’re being awfully strange this morning, you know. There’s no need to be embarrassed for staring at me, if that’s what this is about. I am pretty handsome, after all. I’m sure you can’t help it. Ah but, your face is really red this morning, are you coming down with something?" Yes, he was totally messing with her. Smirk and all.
Of course Break doesn't listen to her - when does he ever? - but Sharon honestly doesn't expect him to sit on her.
Well, admittedly it's far more comfortable when compared to his previous beached-whale position, but really?
Sitting on her?
Does he have any idea how awkward he's making this for her?
He probably does, actually. Sharon wouldn't put it past him to be doing it out of some unorthodox need to freak her out.
It's as if the situation can't get any worse. And then he starts watching her. Staring at her and scrutinising her and leaving her feeling completely and utterly exposed. He could make this a lot easier on her if he actually said something. The silence is overwhelming, his gaze sharp and calculating, and Sharon can't help but fidget. She tries to force herself to look at something else in the room, anything at all, but time after time her focus swivels back to Break and his smirk.
It's obvious he's teasing her - it's as plain as the nose on his face - but their impromptu staring contest has left her a tad overwhelmed. In fact, a few empty seconds pass after Break finishes speaking, seeing as her brain is fighting to catch up.
It fell behind somewhere around the time of the straddling.
Respond, Sharon. Respond.
"No, I just- and I'm not, I- I wasn't staring! I-- WOULD YOU PLEASE STOP LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT!"
Flustered to the point of fury, Sharon prepares to smack Break in the face with a pillow, but all she manages is a half-hearted thump against his shoulder before she drops it to one side and covers her face with her hands.
"Now get off!"
Yeah Break, get off, or she might nudge you with her fluffy pillow again.

Right. Flawless Sharon logic. Can’t say he understood, but hey, it was best to go along with these things. Why she was like this, he had no idea. It’s not like this was the first time they had ended up falling asleep together, after all. Was she still this uptight about it? And he thought he was the one with the issues. Whatever it was that seemed to be troubling her so much, he had no idea.
Sitting up, he stretched with a yawn, turning to look back at Sharon. She was surprisingly still under the covers, and that only made him more curious. What peculiar behaviour. Only one thing to do then.
Without a thought, he flopped on top of her, pulling back the blanket from her face. “You’re going to suffocate yourself. Don’t I get a good morning kiss?”
Just teasing, of course, but what was the harm in it? Sharon deserved to be flustered, and they both had the day off, so there was no sense in getting up right away. Besides, he was in a mood for a bit of attention. Maybe waking up next to your girlfriend did that to you, who knows.
Oh good, he's sitting up. The sooner he gets out of bed, the sooner she'll be left alone to sulk. Hopefully he'll slink off to the kitchen to consume the contents of the fridge, and she can lock herself in the bathroom the second he's out of the way and finally do something about this awful excuse for hair.
But what if he goes to take a shower instead... Meh, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
Oh wait, he's moving.
Sharon breathes a sigh of relief within her duvet cocoon as Break begins to shift--
Only to squeak in surprise when he gracelessly flops on top of her and tugs the blanket shield away.
How dare he.
She instinctively tries to squirm her way back beneath the covers, but alas she cannot do so.
For such a tiny person, Break suddenly weighs a ton.
He jokes around (yeah he's definitely awake now) and even the mention of a kiss sets Sharon on edge. Is he serious? Surely he's not. But what if he is? No of course he isn't. Still, he might be. But eww no she hasn't brushed her teeth yet, no way is she doing that! AND THE HAIR SHE FORGOT ABOUT THE HAIR.
She splutters somewhat incoherently for a good few seconds, before attempting to pull the blankets back up to cover her flushed face and pouting lips.
"N-No you don't get a kiss. Now would you please get off? You're really heavy."
All lies, she actually rather likes it.
Wait, who said that.

Oh? What was Sharon doing? Ahh…it was too early for this sort of thing. Give him a moment to wake up at least. She was the one with the advantage in this situation, so she should just give him a moment before spouting nonsense off.
Hearing her talk, he broke into a lazy grin. Didn’t completely understand what she was going on about, but it seemed embarassing either way. Not for him, of course, but something she wasn’t so keen on him knowing. Checking him…? So she was staring at him or something? Was that what she was trying to excuse away? How ridiculous.
"I’ve never died unexpectedly in my sleep yet, I’m pretty sure I’m alright." Maybe he should find a way to bug her about it, but that required far more energy than what he had at the moment. So instead, he just rolled his face back into his pillow before pushing himself up on his hands. Did he actually want to get up? No.
... That's it?
No teasing? No mortifying comments?
He really must be tired.
It's still embarrassing though, and Sharon can hear the slight amusement in Break's voice, even if he's not taking advantage of the situation.
"Y-Yeah, well. Better to be safe than sorry, as they say."
Goodness, it's hot under the covers. She needs air, but she can instinctively tell that her face is still flushed like an unattractive tomato, and no one wants to see that. It might just wake Break up enough to trigger his habit of finding humour in absolutely everything--
Wait.
Her skin is the least of her problems.
She only woke up slightly before Break did and she hasn't had a chance to brush her hair and it tends to gain a life of its own overnight and for all she knows it could be standing up in multiple directions and eww she still needs to rub the sleep out of her eyes eww and oH NO MORNING BREATH CONCEAL DON'T FEEL DON'T LET HIM KNOW.
Yeah sure it's boiling and suffocating beneath the covers but at least Break will remain oblivious to the ugly truth.
Ugh.
She should have just left him asleep.

Perhaps the only thing Break hated as much as being caught sleeping was waking up early, and it was entirely possible that his downright terrible sleeping patters were a direct result of this, but it wasn’t entirely his fault either. He couldn’t help the fact that he couldn’t ever manage to fall asleep at a decent hour, even if he tried, nor the fact that staying up late causes a person to wake up later than they normally would. Normally he would wake up early anyway, or make the excuse that he had just been too lazy to actually get up, and that would have avoided anyone knowing that he didn’t get a lot of sleep, liked to sleep in, or that he actually slept at all. Like he mentioned before, being caught sleeping was terribly embarassing in it’s own right, and the only reason he actually allowed himself to sleep in this late was because he had forgotten that Sharon had fallen alseep with him.
Under normal circumstances, he simply would have made sure he was awake first, therefore avoiding the awkwardness of being caught asleep. It was just all sorts of awkward and he hated being that vulnerable and exposed in front of anyone, and something he would much rather avoid altogether. In this case, however, it seemed as though it hadn’t worked out like that at all.
Gradually waking up, Break rolled over in the sheets, pulling the blanket closer to him and blinking his eye open. He wasn’t so good with this waking up thing, and it was another moment before he even figured out that Sharon was there too.
"Oh." He wasn’t yet awake enough for anything else.
It's one thing for Break to be caught sleeping.
But Sharon is suddenly all too aware that she's just been caught staring.
To his credit, he doesn't seem particularly upset about it; but then again, he has only just woken up. Perhaps this is a blessing in disguise. And it's not like it's abnormal for her to be there; if anything he should have expected this to happen sooner or later.
Yes. Pin the blame on Mr. Sleepyhead, that's the way to go.
Though she should probably stop ogling him.
Sharon recoils the instant the thought enters her head, squirming down further beneath the covers in a sad attempt to disappear and pretend she was never there, until only the top of her head remains visible.
"Um-" Her voice comes out muffled and croaky from lack of use.
"I-I was, uh, just checking to see if you were alive. That's all."
Well that was pathetic.
Go back to Candy Land, it was safe there.

The first thing Sharon realises upon blearily opening her eyes is that the giant marshmallow she could have sworn she'd been bouncing on two seconds ago doesn't actually exist.
That said, she's still too sleepy to feel the full force of bitter disappointment; and her memories of the frankly absurd dream are already gradually slipping away, as she wriggles around and slowly manages to roll over onto her side.
It takes her a while to come to terms with her surroundings - obviously she's in bed but it's still a shock to the system when she's been frolicking around Candy Land for hours - but as things begin to make sense and the warmth of the blankets registers against her skin, she decides that it's not the worst thing that's ever happened to her.
In fact she almost slips back into her dreams, until the lump next to her shifts slightly before settling down as if it never moved at all.
The second thing Sharon realises is that Break is still asleep.
She's awake before him.
This never happens.
This needs to be celebrated! Or at least marked on the calendar. Should she text Reim? Take a picture for evidence when Break later attempts to deny it? Then again, she can barely see him given how he's buried himself beneath the covers.
He hasn't smothered himself, right?
This moment in time is unlikely to ever repeat itself, and the now-wide-awake Sharon can't resist taking advantage of it.
She cautiously scoots closer, trying her hardest not to stir him - he's a selective light sleeper - and cranes her neck trying to get a better look at him.
What was supposed to be a quick glance accidentally turns into a very long and detailed observation because wow.
Wow.
But it's okay, he's asleep.
And what he doesn't know won't hurt him.
