Me when jim kirk is stranded/alone/in the torture chamber/fighting fucked up versions of his friends/fighting a fucked up version of himself/hallucinating/dying/bleeding/etc:
someone send this to shatner
‘a piece of the action’ is a peak spirk episode, argue w the wall
i am STILL mourning byler
Bones and his two lines of reasoning:
i know -> because i’m a doctor
i don’t know -> because i’m a doctor
Love a character who is neither trustworthy nor untrustworthy but another secret third thing.
Guy who can be relied upon to make the right choice 98% of the time but God that 2% is a fucking doozy.
be careful with what series you watch/read during emotional points in your life because they will forever contain a ghost of your past self within it now
having byler be canonized would have been the best for the ship obviously, but there's also something very vindicating about seeing that the way they had it NOT happen was only by blatantly ignoring plotlines and established dialogue, having plot holes, rewriting existing characterizations (e.g. mike is the 'storyteller' now, not the 'paladin'), having a no-chemistry mileven kiss scene, having finn's crashout as Mike for El become a meme, nearly having an entire finale episode without Mike and Will interacting (if it weren't for Noah's suggestions to the Duffers), having final scene cuts that literally had to crop around finn touching noah, literally having Will in so much of the mileven clip compilation, and requiring the artist to edit Will out of the end credits Mileven scene. Maybe it's even better than having byler being done badly / poorly last minute, because this adds proof that it was literally impossible to not have byler without breaking things apart. It adds proof that they set up so many shots centering Will's sadness when it came to them, and the audience was supposed to have their attention on that. They proved that you literally have to gaslight out parts of ST or literal ST frames to have it tell the narrative they were trying to tell for the finale. They ended up giving more proof that the queer Byler reading was important and woven in well, even if they didn't 'intend' it and decided to HIMYM the ending anyway. And now Byler gets to come off very "the one that got away." It's interesting.
tbh i think i would’ve rather they reddie’d byler
cannot WAIT to see this conversation go down
oh you want to homoeroticly plunge your knife into my gut as thinly veiled metaphor for penetrative sex soooo bad it makes you look stupid
Robins POV of Will at the hospital
