Hi again. After thinking on it last night, I’ve come to the decision that it’s my time to leave PFTM. I’ve just sent off a message to Melissa on the main. I know I wrote the OOC last night, and despite my want intense want to write with you, being here doesn’t fit with my life anymore.

I want to thank everyone who responded to my starters, everyone who worked with me, and those I planned to work with that I unable to follow through. Thank you for being in my life, however small or little. I wish every person the best.

Hi everyone! 

Gah, where do I begin? For starters, I’m sorry for dropping off the face of the earth after the burnt hand incident (one handed typing for work + social purposes is definitely not something I recommend, so watch yourself around boiling water, friends). A few days after it happened (around the 15th-ish), I went to Melissa and let her know that I was doing much better, and asked for her permission to take some additional time off for personal reasons. During these weeks away, I’ve sorted through a lot of personal things---everything from stressful, humdrum, and nothing short of exciting. I made a number of decisions, two of which are I may be moving across the country soon, and I am pursuing grad school. I don’t want to get into more detail, because this definitely isn’t my personal and I don’t want to ramble. (But in the off chance you want do want to chat, I’m always around Skype and fanmail!) 

IC wise, I’ve felt like I’ve hit a wall with my characters---and it’s utterly frustrating to me that I know I have so much of their story left, and I’m stuck in this little rut. All these new things in my life continue to pull me away from really getting back into the swing of things. When I took my hiatus, I promised that I would come back with a plethora of ideas so I can hit the ground running. I’ve approached a few people during my time away, and set up some plots, and I’m really grateful for their willingness to plot with someone who is away. But I also want to let everyone here know about my intense want to roleplay some kickass plots with all of you. I know we may hardly or rarely chat, but I’m so passionate about this era and collaboratively story-telling, and I want to work with you. The idea of eventually finishing this story and knowing I didn’t work with everyone here doesn’t sit well with me. 

I’m hoping to get back into the swing of things very soon, and with ideas brimming. I’m going through the HP wiki and other writing resources and looking for new ideas; and if you have anything that’s been sitting in the back of your mind, something that you would like to bring to the dash, if my characters can help, please let me know. I’d love to help.

Hi everyone! So long and embarrassing story short, I’m taking a (hopefully short) hiatus because I burnt my hand with hot water. I’m okay, but it’s swollen, red, and painful. Right now I’m typing with one hand, which is just as frustrating as it sounds. So I’m taking a few days off while I’m healing, but I can be reached via Sturgis’ ask box or Skype. Since at this point I’m away indefinitely, I’d prefer to drop all conversations, but please hmu if you want to continue! Sorry in advance if it takes forever for me to reply, and if I sound a lil loopy (I’m on pain meds)!

You know the cross-eyed one my dad always said would get stuck like that if I wasn’t careful but nothing is like the real deal. Ooh honestly. Rock and roll is just in your veins, oh Studly one. We’re losing major health points between us though. Uh huh, and don’t you ever forget it! I mean, I don’t want to be a downer on the most important day but I’d watch your old back if I were you. And the first sign of greys… Actually, I think if you just stand a little to the left the light might be catching the first grey strand as we speak.

And your dad was right. I don’t know if I could keep not laugh if that was your permanent face. Who needs health when you have rock and roll, really? Speaking of which, Wren got me tickets to Def Leppard for my birthday, which I’m trying not to appear over enthused about. Somehow I don’t think giddy and rock truly go together, but that’s just about where I am. That is a cruel and devastating lie, Dorcas Meadowes. I don’t have grey hair, not even a strand.
