Worse than a moderate inconvenience day which seems to be most days that he has to go to class and work. It was worse than that. Although in all reality his tolerance for bad days was low and he had been called dramatic for his renditions of a whining child on his other so-called bad days, so maybe his perception wasn’t too great with them, to begin with. Most days he complained about having a bad day were just average days that didn’t include him playing his mobile game for eight hours straight. And today he wasn’t playing his mobile game all day so you know, a bad day … that seemed to escalate very quickly, like a rock rolling down a hill.

But he still somehow managed to land… a date with his crush?

The fact that TharnType’s wedding rings are two unique and singular pieces of one whole, just like their bearers, each one being one half of a heart made complete only when joined together! And their names are engraved into them.

Tharn being the extra af that he is - he really bought the rings with diamonds in them, hearts, engravings and all. This man’s romantic streak really has no bounds nor budget.

Now that TharnType is officially, officially over I can finally say that despite it’s many, many shortcomings it’s become one of my fave series and they’ve become one of my top fave couples. 

TharnType s1 and s2 had some fucked up writing, the novel is even more fucked up might I add, and Tharn, Type, and Fiat have done some ugly things that could be hard to overlook let alone forgive. I won’t even mention Lhong because his character was fucked up beyond repair. 

But the series is a lot to take in, esp s1. It was hard to watch at times and I skipped some stuff when I first watched, but the acting made me stay. MewGulf breathed life into TharnType and pulled me in with them. 

TharnType is one of those series that you either hate or love. No in between. I understand why it’s hated as much as it’s loved, I really do. That’s why I tried to keep my feelings about the negativity to myself because a lot of those criticisms are extremely valid. 

Personally as much as I’m gonna miss MewGulf as TharnType I’m super happy that it’s over. It ended beautifully and I don’t think I could take another season/series with Mame’s trash ass writing.

I adore how intimate, meaningful and nuanced the wedding is, reflecting the reality the lovers live in. It’s only TharnType making their vows to each other in front of the only people who truly matter, themselves and those who love them, because no one else needs to know. 

There is no official officiating the wedding since ii would be meaningless as the law doesn’t recognize their union. They could jump through the loopholes and marry abroad but the marriage wouldn’t be recognized in Thailand and they would need to move abroad to be considered married by law. That would mean leaving behind their lives and all the people who love them and truly matter. They would lose so much and get a mere scrap of paper in exchange. They are married in every way that truly matters.
