the only time i've ever gotten into an actual, heated, in person argument was over slaine. i was at a local con and Zack Aguilar (english voice of slaine) was there, so naturally in his panel slaine was brought up. someone was talking shit and i had to put him in his place lmao.

my headcanon for slaine is that he's eventually released to live on earth under an assumed identity. also there's entire forums in the aldnoah universe dedicated to slaine truthers who realize he was only 16 when the war started and he couldn't have masterminded the whole thing wHAT IS THE GOVERNMENT HIDING???

(apologies, i realize it's been.... *checks wrist with no watch* over a year since i received this ask! i haven't checked this blog for years because i thought the fandom was DEAD dead.)

i love this headcanon, i've read many a fic with similar plots to ease the pain...

and LITERALLY! did he commit atrocities? well yes! but they only blamed him for everything because it was convenient. i'm hoping that they'll touch on this stuff in episode 24.5, but i am keeping low expectations to avoid hurting my fragile heart

Okay, so it seems episode 24.5 will appear in cinemas in Japan after a recap movie of Aldnoah? I'm not fully sure because there's not much info on the possible recap movie (which will probably use the same style of cutting existing animation with maybe some narration?).
