what do you think about the mig50, is it good for shoegaze?
My main problem with the Mig was the headroom. At lower volumes it took pedals like a dream, but playing live became an issue since I had to crank it pretty loud. It would break up nicely, but when you’ve got a delay and two reverbs running it just turns to an inaudible, distorted wash. Which could be cool if you prefer people not hearing what you’re playing haha.
Summa summarum, I would not recommend the Mig 50 for anything shoegaze. Simply because it is terrible at handling ambient effects at concert volumes. I’d look for something cleaner. Hope this helps.
What color pickguard do you have on your black Jazzmaster? Doesn't look like the usual tortoise shell but I dig it a lot.
I guess it’s some sort of japanese take on the early 60′s tortoise guards, definitely more red than what you’d normaly see. I like it.
I should just release an album called Promising iPhone Recordings and make life easier for myself.
Recently rewired my board to play nice with a 5150. Hardcore is hardcore. And I'm addicted to Twin Peaks.
This is what I keep saying.
Ok, I'm keeping this one for now. The pedaltrain too, in case I change my mind. Epic shoegaze adventures, here I come!
