Starlight - Numero Uno.
Italo house from Davoli, Limoni and Semplici AKA Black Box.
Turntable Orchestra - You’re Gonna Miss Me.
Classic garage.
Tyree featuring Kool Rock Steady - Turn Up The Bass (Scratch It Up Mix).
Scratching by Fast Eddie.
S’Express - Hey Music Lover.
This was the third UK top ten hit for Mark Moore’s S’Express and what a belter it was with a great video to boot.
‘Hey Music Lover’ was a lot more poppy than most of the tunes I was listening to in 1989 and for that reason wasn’t something I overly enthused about to my mates at the time!
It was always a feel good track for me though and still is because it’s a cracking record. With the acid squelching along in the background, some top notch sampling and Billie Ray Martin’s killer vocals, you’ve got to love it!
