The summer has been a bit slow for us with summer vacations and all, but we're still here! And we're still looking for people to join us!  If you're interested, check us out and send a message our way!

The Story Thus Far!

Takuya, Izumi, Kouji, and Kouichi have all received messages on their phones to return to the Digital World. Each left without bothering to prepare, and they arrived in the Forest Terminal.

A storm was brewing in the Forest. Kouji found shelter in a hallowed out tree, where Kouichi eventually found him. Lightening struck the tree, and they were forced to evacuate as it quickly caught fire. They ran into a clearing where they found a hut, and a friendly Floramon ushered them inside. She offered them soup. Kouji ate some of it, but Kouichi declined after realizing it came from her head.

There was a thud outside of the hut, which turned out to be Takuya slipping through mud. Floramon brought him inside as well and quickly filled him with soup. While the three were about to discuss how to find the others, the door flew open to reveal a drenched, but otherwise immaculate Izumi.

As they were about to begin discussing finding the rest of their group, Takuya collapsed. Kouji and Kouichi started to deduce what caused it when Kouji suddenly had to leave the room.

Takuya slipped in and out of consciousness as Kouichi and Izumi began questioning Floramon. Then Kouji returned after doing his business with grim news. A tornado was approaching! The gang had just enough time to process the information before they were swept up into the funnel and thrown across the Forest Terminal.

Takuya and Kouichi landed some distance away in a clearing where two strange digimon found them and took them to their village. Izumi and Kouji wound up lost in the trees, thirsty and looking for water.

And that’s the story thus far!

Tomoki Himi

Your character receives a text message that reads ‘The digital world needs you. Will you answer the call?’ Will they?

An obnoxiously loud buzzer blared marking the end of the game. Everyone froze in their spots -momentarily paralyzed by the cringe-worthy sound- then proceeded to make their way to the rink’s exits. It had been a particularly physically-demanding game; there were many fouls and penalties called and given today. 

"Good job tonight boys. Way to fight ‘em till the last second," the coach enthusiastically praised them. He stopped at one particular brunet, and patted his back rather roughly. "Hey Himi, don’t be afraid to shove back, alright? It’s hockey; rough-housing is allowed. And uh, eat more food, kid. Get some meat on those bones." The boy nodded furiously, stumbling with his words, "Y-yes Coach. I’ll try- er, I mean, do my best.” The coach gave him an affirmative nod and then sent him on his way.

Tomoki couldn’t help but sigh in frustration. He tried really hard this game too. It was pure luck that they even let him play. 'Why did I have to grow so early?' He was the tallest on the team, and even among his friends, little Tommy was taller than Takuya and Izumi. ‘Curse you puberty!’ he thought as he mentally shook his fist at the natural phenomenon. Even walking had become somewhat of a challenge; he had to be careful not trip on flat surfaces. He sighed again as he left the rink.

Good thing his house wasn’t too far ‘cause dang hockey bags are heavy as heck. “This is gonna be awkward on the train for sure,” he muttered to himself. Shoulders slumped, head bowed – a kid couldn’t look more defeated. As he dragged his bag along, he couldn’t help but reminisce about the time when life was a little more interesting; a time when he actually felt confident and strong. Those times were far behind him now. If only— a ringing interrupted his self-destructive thoughts. 

                                      Unknown Caller.

He frowned at the obscure identification but picked up anyway, “Hello, who is this?”

"The Digital World needs your help Tomoki Himi. Do you accept?"

For a moment he was speechless, incredulous as to what was happening.

Cellular static filled his silence. 

"Tomoki Himi, do you acc--"

That snapped him out of his daze. “Yes, I accept! Of course!”

"Please proceed to Shibu--"

"Yes, yes, Shibuya station. Take the elevator down. I got it, don’t worry!" he replied excitedly.

Suddenly, his hockey bag wasn’t so heavy anymore. Tomoki bounded to Shibuya station, apologizing to everyone as he pushed through the crowd with his massive bag.He ran to the nearest locker area and rented out five lockers to fit all his equipment. With that done, he sprinted to the elevatar and pressed the button to the basement.

The boy breathed out a sigh of relief, leaning back against the wall. He made it. He was going to go back. Back to the Digital World. He pinched himself to make sure he wasn’t dreaming.

'Is this really happening? Am I really going back?'

As the elevator descended, he couldn’t help but grin like the nine year old he once was..

‘Digital World, here I come!’

If I take one of the blanks, can I completely redo how they look?

So long as you explain it, you can do whatever you want. For example, if you want Chiaki to have short, black hair, just mention that somewhere along the line, she dyed it and cut it all off.

what do you mean by casual

Just that. If you take a while to reply, no one’s going to mind. Obviously we’d prefer it if you could reply within a week… or a month… or sometime this year, but real life happens. Replying shouldn’t be something that causes you stress. (If it does cause you stress though, either that’s one dramatic, heart-wrenching reply, or RPing probably isn’t something you should do.)

If you have a typo, no one is going to care. Yeah we’d like it if we can read your reply, but misspelling one word, or even a couple of words, isn’t something anyone’s going to get huffy about. At the most we’ll jokingly say ‘wow that got butchered’, and move on. 

Also, we’re not very strict. Yeah, the rules say no prompts, and that’s just to make sure the dash doesn’t get bogged down too much. But joke/banter posts are fine and fun. You’ll probably notice several of those. 

This group is just about having fun RPing. That’s all. So when we say we’re casual, we mean we’re just a group of people goofing off and RPing.
