Anyone Up For A Fic Hunt?

So my husband was reminiscing about a digimon fic he read in high school and was sad that he had lost it to the webways.

"Babe." I say. "I have so many friends that love hunting lost fic down like bloodhounds."

These are the details he can remember

He was reading it on Fanfiction.net in 2006-2008, the fic may have had its debut earlier. It was probably rated "Teen"- no NSFW, but not for general audiences.

The author frequently changed up their username but it always had the word "Dark" in it like "DarkX" or "DarkZero"

The fandoms were original flavor digimon cartoon, with elements of Digimon Frontier

The main plot was centered around 4-5 Original Characters, and the POV character was a guy with a digivice but not digimon, who was absorbing the energy of defeated digimon.

Later in the fic they start meeting members of the original cartoon cast as adults. They meet Joe at the Hospital and Izzie who wiped everyone's minds about the digital world to protect it

Millenniumon was there
