I’m Back, nice to meet ya 😉 My side blog is Backwithayang, but I’m on that more than I am on this

I used to work as a Pharmacy Tech but then I ended up moving back to where I finished college for an Audio Tech degree and now I’m back at my old job being a Sr. Shift Manager for a Pizza Hut, being told that I’ll be trained for Assistant Manager soon and I see all these emails in my store’s account trying to get the other manager to be assistant and completely ignoring everything about me. Such is life I guess.

Every time I go through TSA, I’ve been stopped because either they don’t know what a binder is or I mess them up on my gender. It’s actually really funny to me because they’re trying to be nice and when I tell them it’s okay, they all look really surprised.

I feel like I’ve had a couple people walk up to me the past few days that I work with and ask “How do you tell your partner that you want to take a step back, but not harshly?” And the best response, in my opinion, is this:

It’s hard to say something like that and not exactly hurt someone. It’s going to hurt some way or another and that’s the sad truth. But, if you’re really serious about your partner, you’ve just got to sit them down and let them know that you both should talk about things. Whether it be marriages, how you want to raise kids, or your careers. You can build from each other and sometimes, you may realize that you two aren’t the best for each other. And if that happens, don’t let that get you down. We’re here to build ourselves and sometimes people are put in our way for a reason.

Yesterday night a lady came through our drive through and was like “the way the planets are aligning and the fact that we’re getting a blood moon has me worried. I sense severe werewolf activities on the horizon. You better walk your coworker to her car tonight after you’ve closed” and I didn’t even know what to say I was just like “yes ma’am”
