Always found himself to be better with children than with adults in most situations and went into the field of child psychology during college.

Found himself in a lot of trouble during those years, getting mixed up with the wrong crowd of friends and finding himself arrested on drug charges. Managed to get the sentencing reduced with help from Camille, but was expelled from the university shortly after. Needless to say, the Sinclair family doesn’t talk much about it. This, among a whole pile of other skeletons within Dominic’s closet, lead to the reason his family cut contact with him.

Never pursued a degree after that and started working at various jobs just to pay the bills, but had to move back home once finances got too tight.

Is actually a huge reader, which most that encounter Dominic are extremely surprised by. Being raised in the Sinclair clan and working at the family bookstore meant lots of hours surrounded by stories.

Probably the best person to have on your trivia team, hands down. Dominic may act as though he only has rocks for brains, but he can kill it when it comes to random facts.

Started up a band with Sullivan when they were in high school and got it going again when he came back home. It’s been a good way to get out of his parents' house, along with keeping him from getting into trouble.

Earned the nickname Dipper as a kid due to his similarities to the American Dipper songbird and is really something only heard in the Sinclair family.

Has actually been loving the contract construction worker gig he’s got going on with Jeremy and the Fulton family. It’s been a good way for him to not only get out of his parents' house for a while, but also find a new passion for something he didn’t exactly expect to love.

‘Will work for food’ is pretty much how Dominic has survived this long. Generally he will do anything for his friends, but it's almost a guarantee when he knows grub is involved.

Is still having a rough time when it comes to his relationship with his parents and often tries to avoid the topic altogether. With having one failure after another and his younger sister’s successes, it hasn’t left him much room to repair what has been broken for so many years. While him and Lydia are rekindling, things with the Sinclair clan feels like dead water. Truly, only time will tell.

Lydia huffed a small laugh at her brother. “Lemme just tell mamá that I’m heading out.” She flipped the magazine closed and walked to the back of the shop. She mumbled something to her mother in Flemish again + met back up with Dominic back up front, her bag slung over her shoulder. She spoke to him not looking up from her phone. “I’m all set.” She clicked it off + smiled. “Where to first?”

Dominic quickly pulled out a crumbled up piece of notebook paper attached to a few newspaper clippings. This was his own way of organizing, which seemed to be a bit of a family trait, and scanned his eyes over the locations. “A few are close to here, one by the Old Mill Park, and there might be an opening at the Apricot’s,” he ruffled through the pages before deciding on a few he wanted to start with, “Let’s grab some drinks and start with the ones down the street.”

“Oof.” Lydia winced with a smile. “Good luck keeping any secrets in Bingley. By the time the basketball game was over, the entire junor class knew I was dating Bobby Rosco.” Lydia smiled to Cami’s gaggle of friends as she answered her question. “Just working at the shop. What my Lit degree has gotten me so far… That and a pretty pile of loan debt.” 

“That’s Bingley for you,” the fellow brunette stated, knowing all too well the many ways that the town was capable of playing the game telephone, “If the town finding out about who you are dating is the most rough experience that you have had, then count your blessings. That brother of yours has felt the wrath more than he has fingers and toes.” A chuckle fell from her lips and followed the topic switch, still feeling a bit of her own debt from her law degree plus move across the states, “This town has always been booming with opportunities, how did you even choose?” Her question oozed sarcasm as she gave Lydia a wink, “At least you are old enough to legally drink now. Wanna sit?”

Lydia made a fist, placed it over her chest + made a fake wheezing sound. “Ugh, brother. You knoweth my weakness for a wellplace Star Wars reference.” Her smile reached from ear-to-ear. It was good to have her cooler older brother home again. When they were younger, Lydia was Dominic’s shadow as soon as she could walk. As Dom got older they drifted apart. But now they both are older (and can drink together) they’ve become closer. 

She sat back in her chair + then said, “I require more tea before we do this.”

“I’ll buy you tea on the way,” he quickly stated, still trying to stay just below their mother’s earshot. In most situations, Dominic would take a much more casual approach but this was important. The more time that he spent under his parents roof meant the more it was confirmed that he was a thirty year old failure, which were realities he wasn’t quite ready to face, “Let’s just get a move on it.” His hands began to move rapidly, gesturing towards the door with wide eyes, “Please, i’ll give you everything you ask for today.”

Her hair was a tad windblown, and you can see a few pencils stuck up from behind her ear. “Is it true that you took Pete’s case?”

Lydia. There was no way that Camille wouldn’t have recognized her in an instant, same brown locks and warm eyes. But while the two siblings had their many similarities, they walked two completely different paths. Just like air and fire. “It’s true,” Camille confirmed as she turned to face the young woman, “And probably the first time this town has been able to keep their facts straight.” A wink followed by a casual grin, “But the better question is how have things been going. I’m sure you have all the scoop.” After all, Lydia was a Sinclair.
