It's wonderous! Amazing job, bud! That's actually genuinely one of my most favorite pieces of Jazz art that I've seen yet! It's simplistic, yet detailed enough to be beautiful, it's lovely. I also really adore the visor color, I've never seen anyone use that color for it before, it's so captivating. I'm not sure why, but it kind of reminds me of a baby bottle pop! Well.. the lollypop part. :]
(Here's a little scenario that came to my mind as soon as I seen this to go along with it, I hope you enjoy it! @badbedend)
He's staring at a cool bug, I guarantee it. Just look at him, all the gears are a turnin', he's trying so hard to figure out what species it is. (I bet it's a grasshopper, a massive one.) Just wait till it jumps, that'll shock the shit out of him.
He'll be like "Damn! I didn't know they did that!" and that'll be a brand new worry for when he's out and about in those tall fields of grass he just loves to meander about in, just a snoopin'. He'll think twice before nosing around there again, I promise.
Not because he's afraid of them, but rather because he's worried that they'll get 'Little bug concussions' from smacking into his metal parts. And they will most certainly smack into him constantly, he's so large that he disrupts entire colonies of them.
He just wanders about getting thunked from the chest down, all that can be heard are little "Tnk! Tck! Tnk!" here and there as they dive bomb into him all dramatic like.. it almost sounds like it's raining, there's so many. Well, at least he cares enough about the local bug population to stand there and take it, most don't! He'll even slowly creep along as to try not to disturb them, if he has to.
Thank you so much for the kind words and for writing such a masterpiece. I’m honestly so touched that my art inspired this, it’s absolutely adorable and I love the new direction you took! Your interpretation of Jazz is spot on—I’m a huge fan of how you captured that contrast between his massive frame and his delicate soul.
Regarding the 'bug rain,' I actually had rain in mind while drawing this piece too, so I'm glad we’re on the same page. It’s amazing how art can connect us like that. (Also, English isn't my first language so I’m using a translator to help out, I hope this gets my feelings across properly!)
