he’s proud of her, of course, and thankful for the small moments like this. ones away crowds, away from an audience. flynn has spent far too much time being looked at, and not hardly enough being seen.

it’s nice to be like this. just the two of them. like old times ! those always make ryan smile whenever she thinks of them. even the times that were more difficult than others. ryan watches flynn with a slight grin -- it’s just. it’s just nice to see him again after so long.

     FOR A MOMENT SHE considers moving her phone just far enough for Saori to take a peek. No. She can’t. She couldn’t! A dick pic isn’t something that you can just share around to your friends all willy nilly— it’s a gift, a bond of trust between the dick sucker and the dick suckee. Saori ought to understand. After all, she does have six kids, and they didn’t just come out of nowhere. Katya turns her shoulder away, not enough for Saori’s chin to slip, but enough for her to get the message: that phone screen is going nowhere. 

          “What— do you expect me to show it to you? Would you show me Gabriel’s if he popped up in your notifications?” 

     That’s a rhetorical question. Katya has a feeling that she already knows the answer. 

     SURE SHE COULD. saori won’t tell nick. she’s not a snitch, promise. she decides not to push it, though, and settles with a slight pout. looks like she won’t get to find out what kind of heat nicholas is packing. not today, at least. but she’s sure she will. a gift, sure. katya is such a romantic. 

     “    uh, yes ? what sort of question is that. of course i expect you to show me ! come on. do you really think nicholas would be shy about it ? “  

     saori just has to laugh. gabriel. no doubt he’s been an unfortunate victim to his foolish wife’s antics. the entire group chat has had to have seen what he’s working with at least once. a slip of a drunken finger, if you will.
