These two have been all over social media since yesterday. First, I want to say that my heart goes out to the people who were hurt by all of this. Some of them are people I know personally; people I've worked closely with; people I've shared projects and late nights with; people I genuinely respect. Having been part of this group myself, it pains me to see how stressful and difficult the past few months have been for everyone involved, especially for those of us who have been trying to navigate these challenges while working side by side.
But there is something that needs to be addressed.
Legundo is not simply a victim in this situation. He is not innocent. The same behavior being criticized in others is behavior that he has displayed himself. Ignoring that reality does a disservice to everyone involved and prevents an honest conversation about what actually happened.
This isn’t the first time Legundo’s name has been connected to conflict. He has been involved in multiple SMPs, left or kicked out of multiple SMP's, spoken negatively about people across several communities, and found himself at the center of drama time and time again. We can’t just treat repeated incidents as coincidences. When the same issues continue to follow the same person from one group to another, it becomes fair to ask why.
I’m not asking anyone to rush to judgment. I’m asking you to consider the facts, remember what you’ve seen firsthand, and think critically about what you’re being told. Don’t let emotions, popularity, or online narratives decide the truth for you. Listen, evaluate the evidence, and come to your own conclusions.
