Ember bit her lip lightly catching the girl’s eyes as she thought. She could tell something bothered her about her question. She was pretty sure it was the girlfriend part. She’d just have to show her that she wasn’t going to hurt her, and that she’d take care of her the best she could when necessary.

While it bothered her that Harin wasn’t ready to be her girlfriend she was completely okay with that and was willing to wait until she wanted that. Ember grinned shrugging her shoulders slightly in response to the girls question. She was tempted to just crawl on top of her but she wanted to talk to her just a little bit first. Harin’s answer to her question, however, largely negated the want to talk in her mind. “What was I doing outside your room? Well I went running and ended up hear. Though I’d much prefer to be inside your room,” Ember smirked raising an eyebrow at the other girl.

“What would you say to that, huh?” she asked forgetting her want to talk as she spoke and crawling to lean over the girl’s body. Her arms rested on the couch behind the girl as she leaned over her face loose strands of hair making themselves know. She bit her lip looking Harin’s face up and down slightly. This was it. She was practically on top of this girl, and all she wanted was to lean down and kiss her. Though she’d wait for her reaction first.

Ember's answer shocked Harin, but she wasn't going to argue with it. She was more than happy to oblige the girl. She reached up and tucked a loose piece of Ember's hair behind her ear, biting her lip as she did so. She knew that there was something between them, they had been friends for months, but neither of them had ever done anything about it. Ember smiled pulling the other girl over to a nearby couch. “Hmm well it does look very nice on you. I dunno about anybody ellllse,” she grinned plopping down on the couch and propping her feet up on the near by coffee table. She smiled as her thoughts wandered slightly. She really did think that the other girl was beautiful. She wanted to curl into her side and just lay with her while at the same time she wanted to fuck her brains out. It was weird to her that she liked this girl so much. She didn’t know much about her, but she wanted to.

Ember hummed slightly looking around the room to see if she really knew where she was or not. “So what has you wandering around out here?” she asked smiling at the other girl. Ember smiled giggling slightly. She wrapped her arms around the other girl’s waist hoping she could steady them both enough so they wouldn’t fall. As amusing as falling would be, it wouldn’t be that great. She smiled slightly removing her arms as a blush spread across her cheeks. She hadn’t meant to immediately grab her around the waist. She’d noticed, however, for the fleeting few seconds that her arms were around Harin’s waist that her arms fit there nicely, and it just made her desire to have her way with the girl stronger. She bit her lip smiling slightly as she looked her up and down.

“You really like the color pink don’t you?” Ember asked impulsively leaving a blush to darken across her face. While Ember didn’t always like such bright colors on people, she thought it looked good on Harin and somewhat suited her personality no matter how fleeting that may be. It was weird to Ember that she was even the slightest bit nervous about asking someone out. She was always the confident one who just went after the person she liked, and she didn’t want that to change for anything. Ember was who she was, and she liked Harin. All of it together made her determined to do something about it which would more likely than not result in her jumping the other girl’s bones.

Harin was lucky that the force of the impact hadn’t been very forceful, or her tiny frame would have been thrust back against the wall behind her. She wasn’t the biggest person in the world and most people would say that she looked like a Barbie doll. On most days she did. For now, she looked like she had just stepped out of a camping catalogue for Harrods or something. She didn't look like she was on her way to a secret meet up at the Underground headquarters. There wasn't much in the way of fun around here, especially not something that Harin would consider fun, so she just went with the flow and did whatever everyone else was doing. Though, she did it when she was high, and it helped her to get through the day. 

"Pink is my signature color." She said, bringing out a thick southern accent, and quoting her favorite movie; Steel Magnolias. She spent too much time watching old movies, especially ones based in the south, and she was getting good at the accent. She bit her lip lightly, not bothering to remove her hands from Ember's arms, and smiled at the warmth of her skin. The girl was beautiful, that was for sure, and Harin couldn't help but want to stare at her all day long. They had known each other since right before Harper Prep had been shut down for violating the new laws and she was surprised that most people from there had ended up at the Underground. Then again, it wasn't that surprising, seeing as they were all so heavily invested in the music that their old school had been centered around.

Ember hummed stretching before heading out to go running. She knew she should probably not stretch in the middle of the sidewalk, but honestly she didn’t give a fuck. If someone wanted to eye her up they could do that on their own time. She grinned slightly leaning down to touch her toes. Popping back up, she smiled popping her headphones into her ears and heading down the road.

She smiled widely feeling the beat of her feet hitting the ground and the music running through her veins. It was a calming feeling that she would never get enough of. To her it was almost like being high, and that was a glorious thing. She knew her dad would kill her the day he found out about the second option to running, but she couldn’t bring herself to care. Smiling wider, she hummed along with the song glad that she’d gotten to the point where she could talk and run. So absorbed in her task she looked up and realized she’d practically run to Harin’s dorm. She didn’t know what to do about her feelings for the other girl honestly. On most days she just wanted to jump her bones on a couch or something, but she wanted to have some sort of tact and not just go up to her like she normally would. She was glad when she realized that she didn’t smell or look too bad after running. It was an odd occurrence, and one she was grateful for at the moment.

She tilted her head slightly before shrugging her shoulders and heading toward the girl’s dorm. Maybe today she would do something about it.

Harin wasn't quite sure how long she had been lying on her bed, looking up at the ceiling, but it had to have been quite some time. Her ass was going numb and she wasn't too sure if she was able to move at all. She swung her legs off the bed and walked into her bathroom, unsure of what she was even going to do today. She didn't have to be at work until tomorrow, so her day was pretty much free. She clicked on the light and stared at herself in the mirror for a few seconds before groaning and pulling a brush through her hair. She brushed her teeth quickly to get rid of the ever familiar pot smell and taste and then tossed her stuff back into the drawer that they had come out of. 

She stumbled back into her room and stripped out of her pajamas. Standing in just her underwear, she turned to the closet, and looked for something to wear. She pulled out a pair of short, short pink and white plaid pants, a white tank top, and pulled them on. She braided her hair quickly to the side, slipped on a pair of pink converse, and ran out of her door, not bothering to pay any attention. Before she could stop and realize what was going on, she ran straight into Ember, and a blush painted her cheeks. She grabbed the girls arms to steady both of them and smiled shyly, looking up at the girl. "Sorry about that."

Ember smiled shaking her head slightly. She thought it was a bit crazy that the other girl had lit her house on fire because she didn’t want to come to the stupid school. She could understand why though. She hadn’t pitched a fit when she was made to come here only because she knew her father wouldn’t let her go on tour with them the next summer if she did, nor would she be the happiest person on earth right now. If she’d pitched a fit, she’d probably be grounded at the least. “Well that’s not really a reason to set a house on fire. Though as long as no one got hurt, the flames would be fun to watch.” She smiled practically seeing the flames in her eyes. Ember had always liked fire, and she didn’t really understand why nor was she inclined to care.

“I can tell.” She smiled shaking her head. Some people just didn’t get along she supposed. Her sister was her best friend so she’d never really understand it, but she would try at least.

It was a house, after all, but it wasn't like they were living in it at the time. They had been living in their grandmothers house for quite some time, working on blueprints for the new house, and getting contractors ready. How could they blame here for doing what she did? It had been easier than paying thousands of dollars for someone to wreck it with one of those giant balls. 

"She's just so...I don't even know. Okay, enough about me. I hate talking about myself. How are you? Why are you here? What's your favorite color?" She asked, spouting off the first questions that she could think of.

Ember stared at the girl for a second eyes wide. She knew if she’d ever sat the house on fire she’d probably have been lectured like crazy, but her sister and her dad probably wouldn’t hate her. “Oh wow. How did that happen?” She asked raising an eyebrow. It was interesting to her how some people’s parents hated them when hers had never been anything but kind to her. She thought it was crazy the things some kids did just to spite their parents. In her opinion it just got you into more trouble if you went looking for it. Trouble generally tended to find her and her dad didn’t exactly try to keep them completely in line, as long as they didn’t get expelled or something.

“Wow. She seems..pleasant.” Ember laughed shaking her head slightly. She could tell the two must fight often and when they did it probably wasn’t pretty. She was glad her sister and herself were close in age and got along great. Her sister and dad were her best friends even if that did sound kind of sad to most people. To Ember they were the only people that ever really mattered until she found others to add to the group.

"I didn't want to come here." Harin said bluntly, looking around the room. She had thrown such a fit when her father told her she was coming here. It was their own damn fault, though. Like it even mattered. They were going to tear the house down anyway. It was rotting through and they wanted to rebuild and redesign. Nobody had even been in the house, so Harin had thought it would be fine. 

"She's not my favorite person on the planet." Harin rolled her eyes, not wanting to think about her sister. They had never really gotten along well, but after the incident with the fire, things had spiraled out of control.

Cav watched her move on his bed. “Oh you think you are that good? I will be the judge of that.” Cav said walking over to his desk. He decided to sit down there and not by Harin. He knew the seemed ready to go when they got coffee but he didn’t want to give it up to fast. 

He opened his laptop and started playing some music. He then got up and danced over to the bed. He stood there dancing to the end of the song. He looked into Harin’s eyes. “You can tell how a person will be by the way they dance.” Cav said taking a break from dancing and sitting on the bed. “You see if they dance well then they know how to move their body.”

“Yeah it right over here.” Cav said walking in the direction of his dorm. The pathway was well lit but no one else seemed to be out. “That strange it is nice out but no one is out here.” Cav said walking down the path. He felt a slight chill but he wasn’t sure if it was he wasn’t use to this weather or not yet. 

As the enter the building he pulled out his keys. He found the one for his room and inserted it into the lock. He twisted it open to see that his roommate wasn’t there. Thank go that would have been awkward thought Cav. “Well I know I don’t have a lot of stuff but it still feels like home Cav said directing Harin to his side of the room.

"People don't really spend too much time outside. Can you blame them? Being outside is disgusting. Bugs and spiders and insects and birds." She said, looking around at the scenery as they walked to his room. "Good thing that your roommate isn't here." She murmured, wrapping her arms around his neck, and resting her chin on his shoulder. "That would be very unfortunate." 

She moved away from him and sat on his bed, crossing her legs as she watched him. "I really hope you're good in bed. I'm great in bed, but you're going to need to match that." She said, biting her lip.

Ember shrugged not really agreeing with the other girl’s words. As far as she’d seen Harin certainly didn’t classify as a cunt in her book. Then again, Ember didn’t really have many people that she classified as so. She may not be a people person entirely, but she did get along with most. “Well I’m not so sure why she’d say that, but hey maybe it’s just a family thing.” Ember laughed shaking her head slightly. Her family had never really fought and so it wasn’t really that easy for her to imagine all of them fighting.

“So I hear.” Ember shrugged not really knowing anyone who’d ever been pregnant all too well. Sure she knew her mom when she was pregnant with Marina, but she was only a year or so old and didn’t remember it. “Oh gosh. I don’t even want to imagine their reactions if the kid hadn’t been okay.” She shook her head still wondering why the tiny girl had immediately gone for the baseball bat. Surely two people being bitches wasn’t a reason to knock them sill. “There’s probably some psychological reason she immediately said bat,” she said shrugging slightly. She didn’t really know nor did she really care.

"I kinda set the house on fire...That was one of the things." She said. The only time she had had a party at her house, somebody's bong burst, caught the couch on fire, and one of the idiots thought that wine would be the best way to get the flames to go out. Apparently they didn't know that wine was flammable. Her sister had come home with the kids to see the flames shooting from the roof and her twins cowering at her feet. 

"My sister was a raging bitch when she was a pregnant. Well, then again, she's a raging bitch when she isn't pregnant." She said, shaking her head. She and her sister had very different outlooks on life. Allegra was the picture-perfect daughter that their father loved, while Harin was the gangster barbie that was hated more than anything.
