Hey guys, I’ve basically been off social media since I stopped using this site. I’ve realized in the past 6 months or so that I had far too rigid a view on most social issues. While most people in my general sphere on here practice critical thinking pretty well, we tend to put people in boxes just because of the beliefs they were indoctrinated into. Being in the real world a little more, I’ve realized how alienating this way of thinking is. It forces you into an ever smaller niche of people whose beliefs you deem acceptable. Be careful about that. Just because someone lives in a different world than you does not mean you should shut them out. We can’t navigate life on an ideological basis. We live in a human world, and human interaction is the most important thing we have.
