Okay picture this: Sydney and Carmy finally get together they have 4 kids, lots of grandchildren an great grand children, a whole Adamu-Berzatto dynasty. Carmy dies at 92, Syd at 94, surrounded by their legacy. When Syd dies, she wakes up in her dadās Chicago apartment and hereās her moms voice and her dads, she wakes up with the same braids and face she had her first day at The Beef. After reuniting with her parents, and hearing that her mom saw everything and sheās so proud of her that she chose love, her love for cooking and love for Carmy and love for The Bear, they tell her theyāre all waiting for her at The Bear, and sheās like, but Iām dead, Iām not working, and Emmanuel is like no sleep for the wicked, even in the afterlife.
She runs to the bear and sees them all waiting for her as she was the last one from their OG crew to pass. Sugar and Pete, Richie and Jess, Marcus, Tina, Ebra, Sweeps and Luca and etc. all welcome her back, thereās tears and funny quips from everyone. Fake Plastic Trees is playing in the background, Richie when hugging Sydney tells her heās waiting for her outback. She goes back slowly taking in the kitchen, Fake Plastic Trees still playing, she makes it out back and heās standing there, white tee, blue apron, tattoos, cigarette in his mouth, he looks up and sees her, he said āit took you long enoughā, she laughs and said she had to make sure their dynasty didnāt burn down, he pulls her in for a deep kiss that could bring someone back from the dead. The kitchen comes out clapping at their reunion, and on the other side they hear Mikey whistle and say āfinallyā as they pull apart, look at him with glassy eyes, and laugh and hug each other again, as Carmy pulls her into another kiss. Finally everyone goes back in except for them, Carmy tells her āWeāve got service chefā and he takes her hand and they walk back in togetherā¦and THEN!!
Their oldest grandchild, preps the kitchen for family meal, and the camera cuts to a picture of Sydney and Carmy in their 40ās, their four kids in between them, one boy, one girl, and then twins she had in her late 30ās that shocked them both.. anyway the camera pans to the picture above the kitchen door that opens into the FOH, with āLover You Should Come overā playing.
