I've heard multiple people claim that but I've also heard multiple people claim the exact opposite. Regardless of the actual truth, I'll never understand people who immigrate to another country but refuse to assimilate to the other country's culture are idiots, plain and simple. Anyone of any race can properly assimilate into another country and anyone of any race can also fail to assimilate into another country, it's about your mindset and your consideration for other people above all else.
