City-approved Islamic enclave forces buyers to sign Quranic rules in Little Rock. Yes, here in America!

The Islamic Center for Human Excellence got unanimous Planning Commission approval for “New Africa” on a 6-acre site in the John Barrow neighborhood.

Plans call for 22 single-family homes (five already built and sold), two mosques totaling nearly 10,000 square feet that can seat 225 worshippers, a 4,500-square-foot Islamic school for 35 students, a health clinic, community garden, playground, and 78 parking spaces.

The mosque-run HOA keeps permanent control.

Every buyer must sign a binding Islamic Bill of Assurance that states the entire development exists “for the purpose of creating a wholly-owned residential Al-Islamic community conforming to the social guidelines given in the Quran.”

That includes enforceable moral codes such as no alcohol, strict architecture and maintenance rules, and perpetual oversight by the Islamic organization.

Neighbors warned the Commission it would interfere in residents’ personal lives. The vote was 10-0 anyway. Progress has been slow for over 15 years, but fundraising for the new prayer halls is active right now.

This is not a normal neighborhood. It is a deliberate attempt to create a self-contained Islamic community with its own covenant system inside an American city.

One law, one Constitution. No religious carve-outs that treat American streets like foreign territory.

Arkansas officials need to review every covenant that tries to impose foreign religious codes on American property. Demand the state protect equal housing under U.S. law only.
