Someone sent me an ask telling me to recommend them skincare products the other day, so I’m just making a new post. I’m going to try my best to include both items that match my skin type (dry skin) and also products that work for all skin types. I won’t be listing any toners because I don’t currently use one.
I’ll put * next to my all time favorite products.
For the most part I use Paula’s Choice products just because they’re guaranteed to be both alcohol and fragrance free. They also don’t use jar packaging, which is bad because getting air into your skincare products can really ruin active ingredients. Paula’s Choice SKIN RECOVERY Softening Cream Cleanser $18-26 - This is the cleanser that I’ve been using for awhile now. My skin type is dry/sensitive and this is perfect for that. I usually purchase the 16oz bottle because it lasts so long. It’s good for taking off makeup or just general cleansing. Alcohol / fragrance free.

Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser $18 - This cleanser is very gentle on the skin and is good for any skin type! It’s also fragrance free. A lot of my friends have used it and I’ve only heard good things about it.
* Paula’s Choice SKIN PERFECTING 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant $29 - This product is for all skin types, I use it every night. It has really evened out my skin and keeps it really smooth. * Dr.G Gowoonsesang Brightening Peeling Gel $16 - I use this product once a week, and I think it’s amazing. This is for all skin types. It really smooths out your skin and almost instantly feels a lot cleaner. As a warning please don’t use it too much because overexfoliating is horrible!!!
Glossier Super Bounce, Super Glow, and Super Pure Serums $29 ea, or $65 for all 3 - I have only heard good things about these and I’m going to purchase them in the near future. The ingredients in them are fine so they’re definitely safe to use. Each serum treats different problems with your skin!

Dr. Jart Ceramidin Cream $48 - This is a heavy moisturizer and it’s great for winter. It provides anti-redness properties and is great for sensitive skin. My only issue with it is that there’s a fragrance, but for most people that isn’t a problem. Although I provided the link to it on Sephora, I recommend looking around on KBeauty sites to see if you can find it cheaper. It sometimes seems like Sephora loves to overprice Korean beauty products..
* Paula’s Choice RESIST Barrier Repair Moisturizer with Retinol $33 - I have used this frequently throughout the past year and it’s currently my favorite moisturizer! It’s for dryer skin. * Dr. Jart Dermaclear™ Trans-Foam Clay Trio $20-35 - I love these so much!!!!!! Each mask is for different needs for your skin, kind of like those Glossier serums I mentioned. The pink one is my favorite. You leave the mask on for 3 minutes and then wash it off like a cleanser. I’m providing the link to where these masks are on Amazon rather than Sephora, but if you are purchasing from Amazon make sure the seller that you are getting it from is safe. (The one who appeared when I wrote this post out had 100% feedback so you should be good)
* Paula’s Choice Radiance Renewal Mask $35 - This is a great nighttime mask. I put it on before bed depending on how my skin looks and just wash it off in the morning. TONYMOLY I’m Real Sheet Masks $10 for a pack of 11 - These are my favorite brands of sheet masks next to My Beauty Diary’s. I especially like their Tomato one!
Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado $29-48 - I have been using this as my eye cream and so far I really like it. A little goes a long way. The only problem if me is that it’s in jar packaging.
Aquaphor Healing Ointment !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! $7 - Aquaphor retains moisture and is great to use as a final step in your nightly skincare routine, ESPECIALLY in the winter. If you purchase it, get the tube of it rather than the jar because jar packaging exposes the product to air which can ruin key ingredients. This is one of the cheapest and best skincare products you can find imo. Also Beyoncé does this.
For skincare help, I recommend that you check out Beautypedia! You can look up products that you currently use or are looking into and make sure that the ingredients are safe for use. Not all skincare is good, and a lot of products promote unrealistic expectations!
