I recently discovered the existence of Cars smut.

I shouldn’t be surprised, yet I am.

I’m being pulled between mortified confusion and mortified curiosity. I feel like I’ll end up reading some of it, just so I can figure out the mechanics of it all, and I’m sure I’ll end up regretting it.

Although I’m also completely positive it can’t be any worse than most of the smut I read.

(If it ends up being just people with the names of the cars, I’ll be incredibly disappointed.)

I've never read Cars fic, personally, but I have read anthropomorphic AUs of my favs, and it's been some of the most entertaining and character-driven writing ever. I recommend everyone giving serious crackfic a shot. (In a fandom where the premise is already like that, you may have to wade more for the gems, like in any fandom.)
