Wednesday and Thursday, Days 4 and 5 of deck building, saw the completion of my red and black decks. And the reworking of my green deck. The white deck has been retested and works for the most part, it no longer needs to be combined with another deck. Yesterday was day 3 of Magic deck building, and we worked on my green deck. The deck was actually pretty good out of the gate, and won as is, but it never hurts to improve. Especially since it’s not great against any of Jason’s black decks. Which I now officially dislike playing against. Unless I boost my own black deck. Day Two of deck building was with my white deck, and it did not go as well as my blue deck. I won twice with it, but didn’t have as much fun. I finally like Magic! I built my first deck, using my existing blue deck from my birthday present and some of Jason’s cards which he picked to help balance out my deck. We then play tested it and I won two out of four games, but had a lot of fun during all four, which I call a big win. My blue deck beat a normal deck of a color I can’t remember, and a blue/white deck(I only beat that one because Jason made a mistake though), and I lost against a red deck and a green deck. But I held on for a long time before I died both of those times. We’ve had an interesting morning at the office. A clogged sink on the 4th floor backed up which caused water to overflow then leaked along the pipe down to the 3rd floor and then down to us on the 2nd floor. Two of my coworkers Mcguyver’ed a solution to keep it off my other coworker’s desk by removing a tile with an umbrella and then using it to direct the water into the collection of trash cans.
