There's plenty of bad vibes out there after the new Megamind content came out. This however is a place to write fun stories in a safe environment. It rolls really well with the Megamind Tumblr verse since its very foundation is an AU Metro City. So do feel very free to check it out. I'd be happy to see some familiar faces from back in the day :) We write in a city where heroes, villains, superpowered beings and aliens are a normal thing to run into. Fights happen regularly and cause traffic jams to happen. Since it's a city in an instable dimension, it can be called whatever you like - New York, Metropolis, Metro City, Patch City ... all would be right. City History Superheroes and villains fought in this city on an everyday basis. Everything was crazy but normal enough, when one of the heroes and a brilliant inventor, created a device for travelling to other dimensions.
Unknown to him, he ripped the fabric of the universe each time he used it. Soon 'doubles' appeared throughout the city, of villains, heroes, and citizens alike, coming from 'alternate universes'. All were a little different but still strikingly similar in either looks or character. They all lived together and kept fighting each other. Just as usual. Then, at the day of the shift, every person that was pulled into the verse was pushed out again at once - back into the universe they originally belonged to, or another, nobody knows. But it hit not only them: their original counterparts turned out missing too. The mightiest hero of the city was among that day's losses. With only a handful of heroes and villains remaining, unknown ones came in to fill the holes that these left. This dimensional shift happened a few years ago. For a couple of months, the remaining heroes tried to find their lost friends and relatives, but couldn't risk tearing the universes fabric up more. There is also no time in order to search, since new threats appeared. Now, it could be time for the original heroes of said universe - namely canon Megamind characters - to reappear again. They'll find an abundance of other heroes and villains to interact with on there.
