Hello all! This is a bit last minute but please reblog and help me spread the word to shawols in the area!

We will meet at the main pavilion in Orchards Park on December 23 (Saturday) at 7pm, (time is subject to change so check the Facebook even the day of to make sure,) and from there we’ll probably move to beside the pond/fountain to pay our respects. If you would like, please bring candles, your light sticks, pictures, roses, letters, etc. We will make a small memorial, keep a vigil for about an hour, then release some balloons and clean up so we leave the park as we found it. ♡

This is just a short moment to honor this incredible artist so hopefully we can get a small group together to do so. All who are interested and can make it are welcome.

‘起承转合’

So far, only highlight reel ‘起’ and ‘承’ have been released, but being a first language chinese, I am pretty sure there will be two more videos that adds up to form the chinese saying ‘起承转合’ 

For those who are fluent or semi fluent in chinese, 

“起”是起因,文章的开头；“承”是事件的过程；“转”是事件结果的转折；“合”是对该事件的议论,是结尾。

For those who aren’t, 

‘起承转合’ is a chinese saying that is used to describe one’s transformation.

In a typical situation, this saying would be used to describe the ‘four steps in the composition of an essay’ - ‘起’opening, ‘承’developing, ‘转’changing and ‘合’concluding. Of course, this can also be used to describe other contexts, in regards to it being specific or broad. 

To elaborate, I am pretty sure bts is using this chinese saying to describe the lengthy process of ‘learning to love oneself’. 

If you perceive the highlight reels with an essay structure, the first one would be the introduction, the opening. The second one would be the body. The third one would be the climax,where changes would be made, tables would be turned. The fourth one, would accordingly be the ending, the summary, the finale. 

Guys, whether you like it or not, it’s definitely a continuation of HYYH:))

for those who are fluent/semi fluent in chinese/cantonese, you would know there is literally no other chinese saying other than ‘起承转合 that starts with the first two words ’起承’, so I’m really putting my bet on this. Plus, four vids seems reasonable? PLUS, this saying literally fits the ‘love yourself’ concept so well??!!  Like its literally a saying that describes one’s transformation and transition.
