Aurora allowed Daphne to pull her out of her seat, her book balanced in the crook of her free arm. She was too distracted to immediately object; what on Earth could cause Dumbledore enough worry to evacuate the Pitch in the middle of a game? “Hang on, I’m not going to the commons,” she objected. “I want to know what’s going on. You should go find your sister.”
daphne sighed as aurora, of course, would want to investigate. the slytherin’s were alike in such ways. if aurora was going, might as well keep an eye on her. “you can come with, as long as you don’t tell anyone where i got this...” daphne stopped for a second and dropped her black leather bounded backpack onto the ground and opened it. it was something she got for her birthday last year, both things, the backpack and the long bow she pulled out of it. the bag was charmed and she was way better with bow and arrow than she was with spells. she was the best youth archer in scotland for a reason. “if you die, it’s not my fault.”
