Creepiest Bojack Horseman Moments

🐴Bojack’s whole “don’t stop dancing” speech to a very young Sarah Lynn. Poor girl looks terrified.

🐴Diane randomly mutating into a monster during Bojack’s drug bender. That scene caught me so off guard the first time I saw it.

🐴The end from “Escape from LA”. Penny’s situation is just so creepy. What is even scarier is the slow build up, we all knew it was going to happen, but we all hoped Bojack would do the right thing. Charlotte’s anger is very justified, but also terrifying, as when she’s threatening to kill Bojack if he ever comes back, she’s looking directly at the viewer, it’s like she’s threatening you.

🐴Penny panicking when she sees Bojack and Sarah Lynn. Her panicking is very realistic and it makes me just as uncomfortable as she is. Also, there’s the fact that Bojack was stalking her so he could apologize, even though he didn’t want to do it, but the drugs were working against him, hence him blacking out constantly.

🐴Joseph burning Beatrice’s baby doll. The red filtering, the fire, and the detail on the doll as it burns and melts in the fire is disturbing. Also, when he turns to face the viewer, his ears look like horns, and the background is all flames, he looks like the devil. Also, did anyone else hear a faint ghostly scream of a woman? Was that supposed to be Honey?!

🐴Bojack’s fight with Gina. It is so realistic and actually scared me. He literally punches a hole in the wall, mirroring real life domestic abuse situations. It then gets worse, because he, while extremely high on painkillers, strangles Gina. Flip’s reaction is extremely callous, as he tells the camera crew to keep filming. If Mr. Peanutbutter didn’t remove Bojack from the situation, Gina would’ve been strangled to death.

🐴The ending to “The View From Halfway Down”. The tar swallowing up Herb and then everything else was so creepy. The bird from before comes back, having its face melt off several times, scaring Bojack, and then it gets swallowed by the tar, leaving it an empty husk. It is so disturbing to watch.

Funny Bojack Horseman Moments:

🐴The spinning chair gag. I love it when Bojack purposefully brought an office spinny chair in his car just to do the gag. “Hello Princess Carolyn..” gets me every time.

🐴Princess Carolyn pretending to cough up a hairball when Bojack tells her he’s rewriting the memoir without Diane.

🐴The entirety of the season 4 episode “Underground”. Jessica Biel going insane in a matter of minutes was hilarious “fire is my new god now!” Diane and Bojack getting ridiculously drunk and then trying to get water “shut up sky rodent! To the shovels!”

🐴Diane coming home high to tell Mr. Peanutbutter that she loves him.

🐴Bojack mentioning he got spooked by a plastic bag.

🐴Anytime Mr. Peanutbutter acts like a literal dog.

🐴Bojack’s whole drunken John Stamos bit.

🐴Beatrice’s sarcasm.
