Ra from Luciel’s perspective seems to be rather dark.

I really can’t say I like Pogo’s use of this eye searing fluorescent red in this and the daemon’s speech bubbles. JPG compression hates it too and it’s hella noisy in the raws themselves....@_@ I even tried saving the edited pages as pngs. we’ll see if ordering gets messed up on mangadex due to the mix of unedited jpg raws and the edited pngs.

Hey, thanks for the offer for help. I appreciate it, but at the moment we’re doing fine. I’m getting help from two other people actually already.

We don’t have any plans to stop scanslating, so just keep waiting for me lol. I’m the bottleneck at this point. I’m doing the QCing and there is a a couple ch backlog. for schedule, I’ve been trying to do 2ch every 2weeks, but i’ll try to pick up the speed. orz. Lessa 3 just as ended in Korea with 122ch and 2 epilogue ch. so we just gotta keep trucking along.

Q&A and Lessa physical volumes

aww thanks guys for all the encouragement It’s lovely to receive your messages

for lessa goods, season 2 (season 1 volumes are in black) was just released in volume form in korean as 11 volumes (full color) with beautiful covers.

If you search the korean title in naver you can find individual volumes for less than 10usd esp if you get used, but those are domestic prices and aren’t easily navigable or even buyable for nonkoreans.

Now I did find a seller on the global english gmarket who is selling the whole 11 volume set and will ship internationally. Shipping can be a bit steep esp since books are dense/heavy for their size. But these are so beautiful that i would recommend it to those of you who can afford it.

And yes, Lessa is still being worked on. see my previous post for the latest chapters.

i still do hope one day that line webtoons will pick lessa back up. There are so many cool characters, plus the angel’s hairstyles will come back. and Pogo’s art is so lovely and somehow still getting better.

Lessa 3 Ch 21 and status update

So Operation Gstorte Esel has returned. They’re a group of Swiss Germans who translate from Korean to English. The Kr->En translator taught herself korean, got a private tutor, and also took classes in Korea. They used to do Lessa 2 on their own, and at some point worked with me, and then at some point I ended up finishing Lessa 2 on my own. But now that they’re back I think they’ll be doing the cleaning and typesetting in a more normal scanslation style with anime ace and what not. So you won’t have to look at my weird style (I was trying to make the English font/text size resemble the shape of the original korean font/text sizes).

So far I think I’m mostly just proofing their translations. I’m probably doing extra work in just straight up retranslating the whole ch on my own and then comparing differences, but eh, i’m practicing Korean i guess. And i guess gives me the opportunity to update tumblr.
