Whomp, There it is || Bai, Peter and Kiara
Peter knew Bai was intrigued by the way she’d reached for her sword. “Lost boy? Ooh, I haven’t heard that one before. But imagine, if nobody thought about this one, the end might not be sealed off with wards. We might have a chance to get letters out, or see a newspaper from outside. Don’t you guys think it’s worth a shot?” His Ravenclaw thirst for knowledge rose up at full strength as he spoke, and his eyes sparkled with excitement as he looked from Bai to Kiara.
He wasn’t too worried about Kiara joining the exploration. From Maxx’s stories, it seemed like she was always up for that sort of fun. “So, uh, if you guys are ready to go, I can show you where the tunnel is.”
theredheadgallagherkiara
“Let’s do this.” Kiara stretched her arms, ready for this little escapade. Of course, she would love to see the outside world that wasn’t Hogwarts. And yes, she did miss seeing a proper newspaper in forever. Looking from Bai to Peter, she was slightly worried as to what their adventure may lead to, but she supposed they would be fine.
She realized that Bai didn’t recognize her. From under the headguard that she wore before and during the games, the other beater couldn’t really see her face. All good for her; less chances of getting into a fight with her. “Just asking, but do we know where this tunnel leads?”
bai-liu
The thought of seeing the outside world again scared her a bit, she was starting to enjoy being stuck in Hogwarts, being able to sleep in bed with someone. Taking in a deep breathe, she tried to figure out the positive things about this, going to France could be one, getting a message from her mother was another.. well as long as it wasn’t a howler. Her cheeks puffed up a bit at the thought, fingers tensing before she nodded to Peter, indicating that she was ready to find out where the place was. Bai wasn’t even sure whether she wanted to see an exit to this school but she did promise to protect Peter, and thus would go.
Glancing at the redhead, she raised an eyebrow at the question, she would have been worried to as to where the tunnel led, especially with the castle having wayy too many traps and tricks but she didn’t care much about knowing where it led. Not to mention, she was at least 30 percent certain that Peter didn’t check the tunnel much before messaging her, since they were assuming where it leads. “For once, I’d rather not know. I mean even if it doesn’t lead outside, it can still be something useful,” she shrugged lightly, maybe they could use it as a shortcut, or maybe it led to an abandoned classroom, those would still be worth looking for, “lead the way, Captain.”
Careful What You Wish For || Belle & Bai
“Ha.” Belle enjoyed her small victory, scrunching up her nose in defiance. “Because you were being mean.” She stated simply. Shrugging lightly, to signal it was over now. They were even. Well at least for now.
“Thought so..” The girl sighed. Listening to her explanation of the outfits. Bai seemed to have figured it all out, thought out in the slightest detail. Actually Belle could learn a few things from the Ravenclaw. Standing up she placed her hands on her hips and looked at the brunette. “Let’s go then. Best get this over with.” Feeling much better now that the hangover potion had started taking affect. Though slightly hungry, the blonde felt as fit as ever albeit still a little sleepy. “You’ve got all this just hanging around in your closet?” She questioned, the idea not yet credible in her mind. “So will you be wearing the maid costume when I win then? While you sing everything you need to say?” Reminding the other of the other part of deal, she smirked, glad she could at least have some fun with it as well. Maybe her suffering wouldn’t be for nothing after all.
Bai held back a small chuckle, she was often called mean and a bully, even her friends couldn’t deny that. Having someone say that to her in that kind of attitude, slightly childish and proud, it was much better than the glares she received whenever that word described her.
Following Belle, she raised an eyebrow in slight amusement and shock, “so eager to get in that outfit, hm?” her alto voice had a teasing tone as she lightly nudged the blonde. “Yes, yes, and yes.. the last two probably wouldn’t happen. I mean, one, you might just blush at the least and faint at the most once you see yourself wearing it so I may automatically win.” Motioning for her to stay still she lightly walked to the portrait of Auri’s room. Quietly walking inside, she was sure that she was waking up the sleeping vampire so she moved as efficiently as possible. The curtains might have covered daylight, leaving the room dark, but she knew her luggage like it was the back of her hand. It only took a few seconds of fiddling around until she felt the outfit, same fabric, same stitching. Tugging it, and grabbing the nearest boots she felt, she walked back outside, making sure not to let too much light inside the dark room.
“Got it” she cheered softly, showing the outfit, it was a really short dress filled with frills and bows, the classic gothic lolita style. As she placed the dress right in front of Belle’s body to see how it would look, Bai couldn’t hold back the grin that was forming on her lips. Wearing heels most of the time made her forget that Belle was naturally taller than her which made the dress significantly shorter than it was to her. “Come on, Lady Devine, strip!” she ordered, unzipping the dress she was holding in her hand.
Careful What You Wish For || Belle & Bai
Wrinkling her nose, she didn’t deny it. Just pretended to be disgusted by the accusation while trying to hide an oncoming blush at being caught. “You dirty, Beater.” She exclaimed, flicking her finger on the older one’s forehead. “Stop it.” Belle ordered.
Worry spread across her face, no luck on not mentioning it then. Chewing on her bottom lip she awaited her faith. Which was something she only did when she was really nervous. If Aiden would kill Bai, what would he do to her? And she was to wear it a whole day if she remembered correctly. Taking in a deep breath, the girl couldn’t fight the coloring of her cheeks. Recalling what outfits Bai mentioned. Keeping silent when she was asked a question. Wanting to say neither, but knowing that would probably get her into more trouble. Though she really didn’t want to choose. She shook her head, why didn’t she back out of this deal when she had the chance? “Please don’t embarrass me too much.” The girl pleaded desperately in a soft whisper, feeling like a small child at the mercy of a grown up.
Bai looked at Belle’s pale and thin hand, too shocked to stop her from flicking her finger. It didn’t hurt really but she pretended to grab her forehead and wince, might as well bring her a bit of comfort by acting. “Ow!” she stated while she winced, her right palm massaging the spot of her forehead that she hit. She may not be a great singer due to her alto voice, but she sure as hell can act out. “What did you do that for?” there was a slight whining and pissed tone in her voice, as she complained about what the blonde did to her.
It took most of her refrain to stop herself from cooing lightly at her reaction, which would have embarrassed her if she actually did it. She was slightly guilty for bullying her into an outfit but it would be worth it in the end. “Nope..” she popped the p as she replied, lips smirking, “I guess I’m choosing, a maid outfit is simple, it’s a great fantasy and all, but it’s too common. Maybe we should really stick to lolita, though we’re not going full innocent, so maybe gothic a bit? It would make you look more mature, innocent looking yet it shows that you’re not a kid anymore.”
O Captain! My Captain! || Drabble
O Captain! my Captain! rise up and hear the bells; Rise up—for you the flag is flung—for you the bugle trills, For you bouquets and ribbon’d wreaths—for you the shores a-crowding
- O Captain! My Captain! by Walt Whitman
It had been eight am when Bai came back to the eighth year dorm, her body sweating from the massive training she did, her arms tired from push ups, and her legs tired from running. She could barely walk, with her legs shuddering after every step, trying hard not to collapse as her weight shifted from one after the other. The brunette was happy though, she had finally finished her 3rd spell with her sword and was almost done engraving runes and talismans at the side of her weapon. Taking a deep breathe, she focused on stopping her shaking arm and pushed the portrait open, slightly wincing as it banged throughout the common room. Bai had a slight proud grin on her lips as she walked inside, ready to tell Auri about her success. “Hey!” she shouted as she looked away from the door, brown eyes widening in surprise as she noticed the 8 years around a notice board, looking shocked and something else she couldn’t figure out.
Careful What You Wish For || Belle & Bai
Ignoring the objection, Belle took the water bottle and eagerly drank. Her mouth more dry than ever. “Thank you.” The girl whispered, still slightly upset with the other. Wanting to know which obscene outfit she had to wear that day, but hoping the other might forget if she didn’t mentioned it.
“No way..” She shook her head. Almost sighing in relief when the other admitted her lie. “Oh.. good.” Although now she was trying to get rid of the image that had started to form in her mind. Looking at Bai, she finally smiled after waking up. “No it’s not.” She laughed shaking her head. Raising her eyebrows expectantly. “You keep dreamin’.”
“Pft.. yes it is, I’m sure your perverted mind is thinking of it already” she replied smugly, still insanely proud of the things she learned about the supposedly innocent blonde. “I will keep dreaming, no need to tell me that. I’m going to wait for it to happen too.”
Grabbing the water bottle as she finished, she capped it and threw it across the room. “Alright, let’s talk about the dare, cause I’m willing to make it bad enough that your brother would try to murder me while I hide in Auri’s room soo..” Bai stood up, raising her hands and stretching properly, her head tilted sideways as she ran through the different outfits she had and could make. “Let’s play on your innocent side and make it cute yet seductive. probably corset, stockings... I’m thinking either maid outfit or lolita, what do you think?”
Whomp, There it is || Bai, Peter and Kiara
Peter paced back and forth, steadily wearing a groove into the stone tiles beside stairs. He’d found a tunnel or passageway of some kind in the back of one of the many strange basement rooms of the castle, and he wasn’t about to go into it alone. He needed someone tough and able to protect themselves (and hopefully others) to go with him, and he knew Bai was the perfect candidate. Well, if she ever got there.
Before he heard Bai, he heard the angry yelps and curses of students being shoved aside, and he was already looking up the stairs by the time Bai shouted for him. “I found a tunnel in the basement, and I think it might be worth investigating,” he shouted back before realizing that, in fact, it was probably better not to do that. “Exciting, right? We have to do this now, because otherwise you know I’ll get all freaked out and talk myself out of it.”
It probably wasn’t his brightest moment, saying this so loudly and excitedly next to a staircase full of people, and the fiery-haired figure approaching him and Bai might have heard, now that he thought about it…
theredheadgallagherkiara
“Tunnel to the basement what?” Kiara walked up to the little ragtag team, all smiles and flying curly hair. “Sounds very interesting Peter. Count me in.” She looked at Bai next, and her smile dropped to a small scowl. “Oh, it’s really you there..”
She looked at where Peter’s foot rested, and tilted her head. “Seriously though, what are we actually doing here? Like what are we really searching for? If it’s an entrance to Hogsmeade, then I know a much easier route than this…this little basement trick.”
bai-liu
“Tunnel?” Bai looked at him confused as her hands automatically wore the jacket she’d been holding and quickly worked on the buckles of her sword strap. She tried understanding his excitement, but she really couldn’t, what was so interesting with a tunnel? There were a lot of tunnels around Hogwarts that lead to different floors or places, surely this wasn’t so special. Seeing how he looked though, how seemingly happy he was brought a small smirk to her lips. She might as well join him and make sure he didn’t get injured, who would give her candy when he was stuck in the Hospital wing?
When someone seemingly walked towards them, Bai’s hands itched to grab her sword but restrained herself. Brown eyes glancing at whomever it was. She quietly listened as she addressed Peter, looking at the stranger in surprise and amusement when she scowled at her. Now what did she do this time? And why in the world did she seem familiar? Ignoring her thoughts and the scowl, she looked back at Peter, an eyebrow raised in question, “Alright, come on lost boy, spill the beans. What’s so magical about this tunnel?”

Careful What You Wish For || Belle & Bai
Sticking out her tongue at Bai, she finally opened the potion and emptied its contents. Slowly feeling the effects of the magic. Nodding along with everything Bai summed up. Glaring as she was excused of being a voyeur. “Am not.” She argued. “You started it.” Belle added with a pout.
Groaning miserably as she recalled the doomed deal. Letting herself fall back on the couch. Her eyes widened at the part she most definitely did not remember. “What?!” She exclaimed. “I don’t.. I don’t remember.. that..” Belle sent Bai a worried glance, wondering how she really felt about it. “I don’t think… Can I.. Did I really say yes?” She stammered.
“Again, I still didn’t start it” Bai repeated for what seemed to be the 5th time, since yesterday, it wasn’t her fault that her wording caused people to assume the most sexual one out there. Grabbing the bottle, she placed it back on the black box before pulling out a bottle of water and handing it to Belle. That box had her basic necessities whenever she got kicked out of her room, which involved cures for hangovers, and a first aid kit. Pushing the object back underneath the closet, she sat down beside the blonde and nodded.
“Yepp.. you totally did” Bai quickly lied, she would probably collapse sooner or later due to how bad she felt about lying, preferring to say the brutal truth than lies or sarcasm. “Alright, I’m lying.. you didn’t, I never asked, but that’s a hopeful scenario right there” It only took her a few more seconds before she had to stop trying to say such a false thing, the people being too tired to stand up.
Careful What You Wish For || Belle & Bai
Belle let out a low grumble, when the other exclaimed her name. “Told ya to call me Belle, didn’t I?” She replied grumpily. Letting out another groan, when the girl hugged her. Pushing her away, still trying to remember what exactly happened. Sitting up right, when Bai stood up. Taking the bottle from the other, she looked at it suspiciously. Letting her hand drop in her lap, she did feel rather miserable, but then again she may have deserved feeling like this.
Sighing she looked up from her lap to Bai and bit her lip. “I don’t think I feel as miserable as I deserve.” She mumbled. “What exactly happened last night?” Though she knew, she wanted to be sure.
“Yeah but I told you, I’m going to call you that once you dress up as Belle” she bit back a small grin and motioned for her to drink, knowing that it was better for her to talk after she finished the cure for her hangover. “Drink up, you need it if you want to survive, it gets worse when people start making loud noises,” of course with that being said, Bai had to resist the urge to shout the last part, just to show what she meant. It would have been fun but she knew it wouldn’t just be Belle trying to kill her if she did such a thing, it would be the whole 8th year students.
Bai looked up in surprise at the question before trying to recall what happened last night. “Well, we drank, played never have I ever, I found a few interesting things about you.. like how you’re a voyuer and all,” she chuckled lightly, awake enough to tease her about it. “I also dared you to dress up in a clothing of my choosing. Then you got your first lesbian kiss via me.” A mischievous glint formed in her brown eyes as she tried following up before Belle could talk, “oh and you agreed to a threesome with me and Auri.” Of course that was a lie, an absolute lie, but it was worth trying. She just hoped that the said vampire didn’t come up and murder her for what she said.
Careful What You Wish For || Belle & Bai
In a dreamless slumber, the girl felt someone brush against her hand. She groaned softly, not yet ready to wake up. Steering in her half consciousness, it was clear now that she wouldn’t fall asleep again. Slowly she opened her eyes, blinking, she immediately felt a headache coming up. Rubbing her still tired eyes, she whined. Only now that she had awoken properly, she noticed the woman laying beside her. Bits and pieces of the night before flashing before her. She wondered if it was a dream or if it really happened. “Bai?” She whispered questionably, as if she didn’t believe it was really her.
As soon as Bai heard her name being whispered, her body froze and her fingers slowly moved away from trying to pry the girls arms away. Gulping lightly, her mind and body had automatically assumed that she was caught leaving the bed and she went through the different excuses she had used and prepared for such situations. It had taken her half a minute and a very detailed explanation before she realised who she was with in bed.. well couch. “Lady Devine!” she happily stated, a small sigh of relief escaping her lips once she realised that no she was not in bed with a random one night stand. “oh thank Morgana, its you!”
Side hugging the blonde, Bai slowly remembered what they did and stood up, looking underneath the couch they had been sleeping on and grabbing a box hidden below it. “Here,” she opened the box, grabbed a small potion and gave it to Belle, “that should help with the hangover.”
“Eloquent,” Auri mumbled, shaking her head. “I don’t understand what’s so frightening about it. It just…it’s just a demon. It doesn’t even do anything that terrifying in the nightmares.” The hallucinations, of course, were another story.
“and does this correlate to earlier? when you just stared at my shoulder and just cursed?” Bai asked, she may not be logical when emotions came around to conquer her but if she was just relax and if her mind wasn’t fogged by emotions, she showed the same logic that got her figuring out what Auri was 2 years ago.
“Ew, this fashion is older than I am? Plaid is eternal, though. Eternaaaal.” Peter grinned and wiggled his fingers. Plaid really did go with his Converse and paint-covered clothes and permanent bedhead. He burst out laughing at Bai’s reaction to the retro clothes, to the point where he doubled over with tears in his eyes. “Calm down! I wouldn’t know where to get clothes like that, even if I wanted to.”
His eyes widened. 48 hours? “Is that, uh, cumulative? Or did you do the Ravenclaw thing and work all at once?” He couldn’t fault her. He’d done similar things at least once a week.
“We have magic...” she hissed quietly, glaring at the ground as if she was cursing magic for the existence of Retro outfits. She coughed lightly and swallowed, still trying to get rid of the laughable yet pretty disturbing image of her gorgeous woman wearing such clothes. The only thing that would probably make it worse is an afro and her dancing those old jive dances. “Ugh...” she groaned louder as those two things crossed her mind and painted a mental picture.
“One go actually” If she did it in a span of a week it would mean less, and she would have given them a week after Auri’s birthday. “Pft, Ravenclaws are probably the masters of procrastinating and doing everything the night before.”
Whomp, There it is || Bai, Peter and Kiara
Bai had been sitting comfortably, her legs crossed, her back against the headboard of Auri’s bed, and a book sitting comfortably above her lap when she heard a repeated pecking against the window. Figuring that it was just one of Auri’s passive aggressive notes, she kept ignoring it even as the pecking grew steadily louder and annoying. It kept up for a few minutes until what she heard was glass shattering and wings flapping before her sight was covered with brown feathers and her hand stung due to her owl jabbing its beak against the back of her hand. “Goddammit..” she hissed harshly, pulling away her hand from her aggressive bird, “I didn’t know it was you, sheesh.” Lightly pushing her owl away, Bai absentmindedly wiped her slightly bloodied hand against Auri’s blankets before grabbing the letter from her owl. Cursing whoever wrote the letter.
Meet me in the Entrance Hall. - Peter
Brown eyes stared at the letter, eyebrows furrowing in confusion. What did she do this time? She was pretty sure she didn’t beat up a second year, especially not a Gryffindor, nor did she make Auri pissed for the past two days. Why in the world was he sending owls? Sighing, she crumbled up the letter and threw it out of the broken window, knowing better than to ignore Peter’s letters. Standing up from her bed, she lightly nudged her owl again motioning for her to leave, “come on, I don’t need you pissing the wife more, go play with Demon.” When the owl hesitantly left, she grabbed the green parka laid out on a chair and her sword before running to the direction of the Entrance hall.
“Oi! Peter Pan!” she shouted as soon as she was running down the stairs, bumping against others as she didn’t bother to avoid them. “What’s with the letter?”
