You are the best friend ever, I will remember that because I don’t want you ending up in jail for throwing some loser off a balcony. Haha I know a little bit about babies plus I will probably get to practice with your’s and Vicky’s so no worries.

Most of my friends are single or are in casual relationships. Apparently that’s a popular thing around here. I don’t think it’s really for me though. Yeah…that sounds very difficult. I’m sorry, Bailee. Yeah, seriously. I was lucky I didn’t get dupped into staying with her. A relationship based on a lie isn’t a good start. Had it been true I probably would have tried to make things work. I’m not a love ‘em and leave ‘em kind of guy…well, unless they’re crazy. I try to stir clear of the crazies. It’s not always easy because sometimes they disguise it pretty good. They act all sweet and normal and then bam, they start looking through your phone or show up at your apartment late at night. It can get creepy. Any guys ever do that to you? I imagine you’ve had a few dozen go after you.

Yeah I agree I think casual relationships are just a way of having sex without being faithful which is not my thing either. See you are a stand up kind of guy, nowadays alot of girls have that scheme backfire and they end of as single moms because the guy takes off, don’t get me wrong I love kids and probably want three or four when I get married but right now there are so many unwanted babies out there because of stupid broads like that girl. Staying clear of the crazies is sometimes difficult but I have a pretty good bullshit detector. Actually I have had one or two that started following me everywhere I went, calling me to see where I was at three in the morning, it actually got kind of creepy that Damien had a security system put in my condo and made sure I was escorted to my car every night after work. Of course of late I seem to have some kind of shield around me that guys seem to avoid me -shrugs- who knows maybe I will end up the old cat woman, thinking of adopting a kitten soon.

There’s nothing wrong with your best friend wanting you to be happy. It doesn’t mean you need a man to make you happy though either. Oh, sorry, I didn’t realize your father wasn’t alive anymore. That’s true, there are a lot of crazy people out there, guys and girls. You can’t just let anyone into your bed without some type of consequence. One time this girl claimed I got her pregnant, but here it was all a ploy to trap me into becoming her boyfriend. It put me through some sleepless nights, I’ll tell you that much.

Yes I know I don’t need a man to be happy but it would be nice to have someone to share times with, I guess I always feel like the third wheel around my friends because they are all in serious relationships. He died a few years ago of cancer, it was pretty tough watching him die especially since I was the only child. WOW seriously? I am so glad I am not a man and have to deal with all that. At least when I have a baby I will know exactly who the father is, it sucks that some girls try and use a baby as a way of “trapping” a man, kind of makes all the female race look pretty bad.

One day at a time, Missy. We need to get married first before starting a family; I’m traditional like that. No, I’m not kidding. One doctor and one nurse or midwife and you must be able to cover the night shift; nothing you can’t handle, I’m sure.

Oh believe me I plan on doing the marrying before the baby making, I am kind of old fashioned like that too you know!  Sure I will drop the baby and hurry right back out on the floor to check on the customers , you are so silly but I still love you.

Of course! Beautiful and healthy children and grandchildren. I was only kidding about the maternity leave part. There won’t be any of that, in fact you’ll have to have the baby in your office, during your lunch break.

Oh I know you and Vickie will have some beautiful babies, I can’t wait to see them. Are you kidding me? In the office on my lunch break huh? This should be very interesting, do I at least get to have a doctor come in and assist?

Wow, that sounds like an incredible relationship. You are very lucky to have someone who cares so much about you. Ahh, my friends like to try that whole match maker bit; it’s the worst. I don’t do blind dates either, well not anymore I should say. Those usually lead to awful dates. That’s a very cool saying. Your father must be a smart man. I haven’t given up hope that she’s out there, but in the mean time I’m highly selective. There are some women who think just because I buy them a drink or talk to them that I want to have a one night stand with them. Definitely not my style.

Damien is definately my best friend and I am lucky t have him. I don’t much like the matchmaker thing myself either but he seems to think I will become the crazy cat lady if I don’t find someone soon, I think it stems from him and Vickie be so happy that he wants the same for me. He was a very wise man I miss him everyday he was actually the only other man I truly trusted next to Damien. I have pretty high standards as well hence why I am still single. One night stands are not only so yesterday but can be deadly in this day and age besides its hard to develop any kind of relationship off a one night stand. I would rather continue to have no sex than dangerous sex.

We are really great friends he is like my adopted brother since neither of us had siblings, we fight and fuss like siblings would but we always have each others back no matter what. I am sorry to hear that…been there a few times myself so now Damien is trying to find me a man since he thinks I desperately need one, my father always said a few bad apples shouldn’t spoil the barrel so don’t be afraid Ms. Right could be right around the corner.

I will definitely say hi next time I stop in. That place has great food and entertainment. How long have you been working there? Oh I know, most women I meet are all about talking. Sometimes it’s hard to get in a word edgewise. I talk all day at work so I don’t mind a break.

I have know Damien since we were babies and have been managing for him almost 5 years now. Now come...come you can’t not tell me that someone as handsome as you does not have women fawning over him for more than a good listener.

Being the manager has it’s advantages like being able to sit and socialize with our wonderful patrons. Listening is sometimes better than attempting to solve them darling because sometimes all a woman wants is that ear.
