I did this like yesterday or something but wasnt really planning to post this but I'll do it I guess since I'm too lazy to post anything else :p
I will not say the 100 things I hate about the drawing but I will say I hate legs and this was mostly so I could think about shading 🙃 I have no idea how to shade 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃

I started drawing with Pit in 2017 because I really wanted to have merchandise of him but because his game was so unpopular and people only know him from Smash Bros, there was almost nothing except the figurines I couldn't afford.
In hindsight I guess this dude left such a big impact on me? I also started liking Denji and Kokichi because they all have the same messy fluffy hairstyle with bangs, dressed in white and a split personality sorta.
I try drawing Pit every year because I love him, but this and last year I forgot about it. This was from 2 years ago I think. I always wanted to make an animated wallpaper of him flying in the nightsky but I also lost interest in doing animation... Maybe I will change my mind and animate this someday.
Okay so one thing I can't properly show off when ripping models are animations and effects, so I want to bring attention to @Yozora-no-Hime on Youtube. They've been uploading videos on all the different idols in Uprising which are a fantastic quick references. I've compiled all of them below the cut.
Each video thumbnail shows which models are shown off.
Alrighty time to put together a ref sheet I'm sure a lot of people can appreciate: Hades!
Now, Hades' model isn't going to look quite right from the renders. His textures are animated, and his model also has various other effects. You can tell by his hair that some coloration is handled outside the textures like Medusa's model.
To round off the references below I'd highly recommend checking out this video that shows off his idols.
For his base form, I'm using his cutscene model from chapter 9. For that model, his pupil is actually an effect over the model. Not to worry his pupils will be shown later on! There are a lot of images so I'll be hiding them under a cut.

Now, Hades has a bunch of different forms he takes through the final battle. Now, I wanted to line them all up together to show them all off, but to my surprise, they're actually different sizes!
To cover my bases and make sure his cutscene model wasn't just scaled differently I also ripped his model from Ch 23, and it was the same size. So right to left you have his Ch23, Ch9, phase 1, phase 2, phase 3, and then phase 4 which oddly shrinks back to his normal size.
Speaking of, I apparently measured his model incorrectly on an older post... So updated sizes:
Regular/Phase 4: ~202ft
Phase 1: ~403ft
Phase 2: ~1010ft
Phase 3: ~2012ft
Pit is within the orange dot in the pic. Not that you can really make him out lol.
Anyways, onto references for phase 1!
And phase 2 actually isn't that different design wise apart from the spikes on his shoulder

His core doesn't look quite right in Blender so I apologize for that. I hid it in the last image to show off the cavity better.
And lastly phase 4 shares the body of phase 3 but his head is different:
This form looks pretty rough compared to the others in Blender. I'd definitely cross reference the idol or gameplay for a more complete picture.
All the weapons that appear over his body are separate models so here they are:
ANYWAYS I think that should cover it for Hades! His models were a bit of a pain to get to look right since there's a lot to them. I hope these are helpful!

Animators
We’ll be following Palutena's Revolting Dinner and use it as storyboards/the outline, basically. You can take creative liberties and adjust shots to make them more dynamic or just reanimate what your part is showing in the OG. TRY NOT TO STICK TO CU’S IF YOU ARE CHANGING THE SHOT! You can put other Kid Icarus characters (including enemies/bosses) or OCs in the background, change the type of vegetables or centurions, have the vegetables or centurions dress up as other Kid Icarus characters or your OCs. The focus must not be put on them. They’re just in the background.
Remember that the main focus of this short is on Palutena, with Pit being a secondary character. Meaning more of us will animate Palutena than Pit. (As such, please do not put Pit in the background unless he is specifically supposed to be in the shot, like the OG animation.)
Simplifying clothes and character designs are allowed, as long as characters are still recognizable.
Recreating scenes from the OG animation in other games, like Club Penguin or Animal Crossing, are allowed. Get creative with it! AND YES! COSPLAYERS CAN JOIN IN ON THE MAIN REANIMATED PART TOO!
