So we lease a piece of property right above our house where we originally kept our cow. We added another 2 acres across the field in front of our house so we can rotate the cow. Well the man that owns the first piece is getting divorced and selling the house/property. Well his ex wife is. Kenny asked her if we could buy the piece we have been using. She said she would think about it and get back to him. She got back to him yesterday. Now this piece is barely over an acre. The number she gave is insane! $20,000! That is crazy! I thought Kenny was joking when he told me! We were thinking like $7,000. He told her to just list it with the house because that is not happening. So we talked to the guy who has the second piece of property and we are just going to make her area bigger. Possibly 3-4 acres added to the 2. I still can’t believe that is the number they came up with!

I had the worst migraine I’ve ever had the last two days. It got so bad last night I could barely walk and couldn’t keep my eyes open. I got a shower in the dark and went to bed at 7:30. I had to put one of the kids fever strips on my forehead and had ice packs all around my head. I was worried it was pre eclampsia for a bit but then I realized I had none of the other symptoms. I can’t stand when people say/said wait until you have a migraine and a baby! You know I’d rather have a migraine with a baby because then I can take the medicine I need that actually helps. Tylenol does absolutely nothing. Kenny made me water-coconut water-and salt and that helped but today I am exhausted and still have a small headache. I had my OB appointment this morning and my blood pressure was perfect so I’m hoping this little headache goes away and doesn’t turn into another migraine.

Our yard looks like Rocco exploded all over it. We brushed him but he’s still shedding like crazy. We pick it up in the evening because it makes me crazy haha but it’s back in the morning because he’s roams the yard all night and rolls around. The last few days have been cooler so he hasn’t been so dramatic I mean I get it I can’t breathe when it’s 90° either but he’s such a baby.

I am so ready to have a baby to snuggle and be tired from having a newborn!

Ingrid loves ducks! We got her 6 call ducks today and she was so excited! The lady gave us this one that just hatched yesterday so she was a lot smaller so she needed her own box. Ingrid named her Pickle. She just came in our room and said “can I please go tell my duckies goodnight?” So Kenny took her to see them and she was telling them all goodnight. Her little face is so adorable I love how much she loves ducks! Bonus cute little AJ smiling 🥰

This poor kid! She is going through it recently! No idea what’s going on now. Nothing new was used or given to her. She wasn’t around anyone. And wasn’t in any new area. I gave her allergy medicine and put anti itch cream on it. So thankful for a pediatrician that texts! She said to keep an eye on it and watch if it spreads to her eyes and watch her breathing. She’s laying in her bed in the AC since it’s already so hot out when she was sweating it was burning. Poor baby can’t catch a break!

Well it fell off. But it was still open and a little deep. So I text her pediatrician and she said to put Neosporin on it and put the strips on it. Kenny did and now she’s very happy. She said it’s not itchy anymore either.

Had my OB appointment today and my blood work before. Waiting to see if my iron levels went up. My doctor is supposed to call me this evening to let me know and see what we have to do as far as the infusions or just keep taking the tablets. I think the baby is going to come the 26 of August. No reason why just a feeling. I keep telling myself I’m going to go over so if I don’t I’ll be surprised😂

We moved Ruthie to her new pasture today. She went in the trailer easy. Kenny and I were both shocked! We can see her from our front porch our house is behind Kenny to the left about 150 yards. So that’s nice. This pasture is 2 acres and should last her the rest of summer and give the pasture above our house time to grow for the fall when we move her back.

Ingrid and Miriam begged us to put more duck eggs in the incubator and 2 hatched today. We have 3 more eggs in there that have pipped so hopefully they will be hatched soon. Miriam named hers Poptart and Ingrid named hers Cornchip. Ingrid wants to name her next one Acorn and Miriam isn’t sure about hers yet.

We got Evelyn tickets to see Just In Time with Jeremy Jordan! We told her today and she was so surprised! It’s August 18 so we plan to go to NY that morning check into our hotel and get ready to see the show. The next day she’s already making plans for what she wants to do. She wants to go to Time Square,The Jelly Cat Store,M&Ms store and she wants to try to go to Cornelia Street too. Our hotel is 10 minutes from everything so it should all be pretty easy to do minus the last part that’s a little farther but we can just do that when we are leaving the city. She is obsessed with Newsies and Jeremy Jordan is her absolute favorite. I haven’t told her yet but I hope we can go to the stage door after the show and she can meet him! She would absolutely freak out!

TW:Blood (not a lot)

Miriam fell last Friday. I took her to the doctor and they said they could do 2 stitches or the glue. Then the doctor said we don’t have any topical lidocaine so it’s going to hurt a lot. So we opted for the glue because she said they would heal the same she just might have a bigger scar but if we put cream on when it’s healed it will help it fade. She wasn’t allowed to get it wet for two days. I called the pediatrician today because she’s been showering and has been in the pool but the strips aren’t budging. I know not to pull them but I just wanted to be sure it was ok to let them on. They said if it’s not red or hot it’s fine. We have been cleaning around it with a q-tip and peroxide so I’m not worried about that. But they are literally glued to her head. Is it all going to just fall off together? They said it could take 2-3 weeks. Miriam is so annoyed because she can’t wear her goggles in the pool. Thankfully she said it doesn’t hurt anymore and she didn’t get black and blue like they said she would. But she is so ready for it to be healed it’s getting itchy which is a good sign but she doesn’t understand that.

Being pregnant in the summer means the limit to the amount of popsicles I can eat doesn’t exist…right? 😂 The cherry popsicles on a stick that are good to bite are the only thing I want right now! I can’t bite ice cream or popsicles normally but that’s all I want right now and I have had 3 today.

You know the kind of tired in the summer as a kid you would be from being in the pool all day. Then going into the cool house and eating lunch and then laying down and falling asleep because the pool kicked your butt. That’s how all of our kids are feeling today and it just makes me feel so happy being able to give that to them. They have zero worries or cares and it just makes me happy to be able to watch them just be relaxed and comfortable.

I remember never being able to sit down and relax as a kid because if my mother was doing something no one could relax. That carried to adulthood with me but my husband makes sure I don’t feel guilty about sitting down it’s taken a few years but I’m getting there. I am so proud of myself for not being like that with our kids. They have chores and responsibilities but they are kids and deserve to be kids.

My OB appointment went well. I start going every 2 weeks now! I can’t believe that! I’m anemic which I knew so I have to up my iron and hope it goes up because if not I am probably going to need infusions. I was supposed to get them with Miriam but she came early and I didn’t have time to get them. Has anyone had the infusions? Miriam was cracking the doctor up. She was telling him the baby kicked her head. Then she said “every night I have to feel the baby,I love that baby and I love my mom! Do you have a mom? Or a baby?” He answered her and then she said “I like you you’re nice to me and my mom! This is my baby Ingrid!” She would have talked his ear off if we didn’t have to leave. We went to Starbucks after and I got her and Ingrid strawberry lemonade and they were so excited! Miriam also says we are naming the baby Junias. I have no idea where that came from but it’s cute.

This child is in my right hip and will not move out. He/she will move but only to make me almost fall over because it hurts. I tried laying on my left side to try and get him/her to move. Nope. I also have a stupid kidney stone. I was just telling my SIL I had been doing pretty good and that must have made my luck run out. I have an OB appointment tomorrow and Miriam and Ingrid are so excited because they get to go to the “cake pop store” after. I’m excited because I get my strawberry acai drink😂

We went to Evelyn’s work this evening for treat time. The kids loved it. Her boss was bragging to everyone that the register is always perfect when Evelyn works and that she’s so good with the customers and she just loves her. Always feels good to hear other people appreciate how great your kid is.

Ingrid is fully potty trained. She is really annoyed with wearing a diaper to bed. She been waking up with a dry diaper though. She still ends up in our bed so I let her fall asleep then put a diaper on her. She was the easiest kid to potty train I am still kinda shocked! She keeps saying “I’m a potty pooper” and it’s hilarious. She even rode in the car to Kenny’s parents today that’s a 90 minute drive! I am so proud of her!

You know what’s really frustrating? Watching someone be so manipulative to people that have no idea. Just distancing myself from it because I know I am going to end up saying something and it’s not my place. So until it does become my problem which I’m sure it will soon enough I will just complain to my husband and be done with it.
