Our 'Jubilee Street Party' display at the South Of England Agricultural Show at Ardingly this year. The weather was predictably miserable much like the whole of the summer so far.

 The main table and benches are large sections of Lebanon Cedar, the high quality nutritious party food (sandwiches, cakes, crisps, Twiglets, cheese and pineapple on a stick!) and the place settings are made from a fairly diverse range of local timbers.

 It was great to see some of the passing visitors having a little sit down and helping themselves to a plate of woody goodness...

 I work for Balcombe Estate Forestry and Sawmill In West Sussex in the UK. We deal with local timber produce from the Estate woodlands and the surrounding area, and I'd like to (hopefully) share some thoughts and pictures about traditional and contemporary wood products and uses as time goes on.
