Another criticism Ive hearing a lot is that Marinette is a Mary sue and like god fucking forbid girls have a power fantasy

My bigger problem with marinette stalking habit is that writers can’t decide the tone they want for it

Like do they want us to see this as a legit character flaw for marinette that effects her relationships with people and is problem that needs to be addressed

Or do they want us to treat it the same as bugs bunny getting hit in the back of the head with a comically large hammer

You need to pick one and stick to it

I low-key hate when people try to put limits on art or devalue a form of art cause they don’t get it

I’m primarily talking about modern art or how people will shame you for including dark subject matter in your art as it is “problematic” as they believe it is a reflection on the person oneself

Chat Noir is a perfect character because when given a miraculous every other character takes it very seriously and usually acts like themselves but more responsible, and then Chat Noir acts like a weird furry cat boy for some reason. Nothing about the cat miraculous requires he runs around on all fours and makes cat puns he does that for the love of the game.
