kajalxmalhotra:
“You’re welcome.”
“So far, Denver has been good to me. I’m sure it will treat you well too.”
“Everyone has been so nice I’m sure you’re right.”

bartenderwynne:
“Right, I guess I see your point,” he said as he looked out at the snow as it came down. “Guess I’ve just been disenchanted by the stuff,” he shrugged. “You end up spending one too many nights of your youth in the cold and it’s not as fun, but hey, there’s something about the stuff.”
Nicole was a little taken back by the comment of the man’s youth. It was personal information she hadn’t expected to receive.
“Have you lived in Colorado all your life?”

abigail-roswell:
“Yes that would be me. I manage the Denver Ballet Academy.” She smiled. She started down the streeet.
“That’s right! How’s the Academy?”
Nicole noticed the girl looking down the street. “So, where would you like to eat?”

itsashkennedy:
“That’s what having siblings is like,” she laughed. “I take it you didn’t have any siblings?”
“None,” Nicole answered. “How many do you have?”

bartenderwynne:
He cocked his eyebrows as she said the snow reminder her of home. “Snow, really?” he asked. Of all the things that could remind Zachary of his own home, snow might be the last one. It snowed in so many places, after all, but he supposed people were different. “Well, if you say so. Seems to me like home could end up being just about anywhere with this snow.”
“Not just snow,” Nicole laughed. “This snow. The kind that blankets everything in mountains of the stuff.” Though any snow would have made her happy. Now that she thought about it, perhaps the man was right.

suttonfitzgerald:
Sutton was just walking back to her villa after being out for the day, finally agreeing to do some snowboarding with Richard when there was a warning about the snow storm.
Lugging the board, she stopped when she saw a girl in the middle of the way. “Hey, you might want to come in,” Sutton said in passing when she saw the girl, “There’s a snow storm coming in,” she advised the girl who seemed to marveled at the snow, “You don’t want to be stuck out here when that happen.”
Nicole looked to the woman who passed her. “Thanks for the warning,” she politely spoke and followed the girls advice, heading towards her villa with bags in tow.

itsashkennedy:
“My siblings used to lock me out of the house, out of the bathroom, all sorts of places,” she told her with a chuckle. “It’s a skill you pick up.”
Nicole laughed, “That sounds terrible!”

emory-sinclair:
Emory was on his way to his cabin when he saw a girl standing in the walk way. He strolled up next to her and looked up towards the sky, the same way she was. “Pretty now, ain’t it?” The male turned his gaze towards the woman next to him. “Sadly it won’t be once those clouds roll further in,” he remarked. He glanced down and saw she was still carrying her bags. “Need help with that?”
Nicole looked over to the man who spoke. “It really is,” she answered with a smile. “How bad do they think the storms going to be?” She asked when he mentioned the clouds. She’d only just arrived and had it not been for the clear storm moving closer across the sky she hadn’t heard anything more about the storm.
She looked down at her bags. “Oh, you don’t have to do that.” She politely spoke but honestly manning her suitcase with a large bag over her shoulder was proving a little tiresome.
A Day Late To The Party
lydiacollins:
There had been talks of a storm brewing some time soon but that hadn’t stopped Lydia from going out on a wander around for the pure and simple reason that she couldn’t sit still. But she knew better than to stay out when it was getting colder and the weather was slowly deteriorating, hence why she decided to return. And keep warm, something like that. Along the way, she saw someone just… standing there? With her brow slightly furrowed, she slowly approached the woman, looking around to see what she was looking at. Just the snow.
“Hey? Hello?” Lydia called out, waving a hand around in an attempt to catch the woman’s attention. “Earth calling to human… anybody there?” Clearing her throat, she decided to attempt to speak again. “A storm’s coming, you should probably get inside. There are windows - you can watch the snow through the windows if its that important? Unless you want to be stuck out here when the storm hits?”
Nicole looked over to the woman calling for her attention. She realized as she gazed at the girl that she’d been calling to Nicole for a little bit. She blushed as the stranger went on. “I guess I don’t want to be left in the cold,” Nicole commented and adjusted the strap of her bag on her shoulder.
A Day Late To The Party
bartenderwynne:
Zachary looked up as a girl seemed to have stopped in the middle of a cleared out path that led to the cabins. “Is there a UFO or something up there that I’ve missed?” he asked wondering what could have the girl so entranced. Being born and raised in Denver, Zachary was no longer impressed with snowy scenery. Then again, he was rarely impressed and maybe it was just his hard and gruff nature.
Nicole looked to the person who called her attention. “Oh no, I just... the snow. It reminds me of home.” It had been three years since she’d lived in Canada and although North Carolina had snow, her time in there and in Texas before that were nothing like Canadian winters.
abigail-roswell:
“Sounds good!” She smiled at the brunette, leading her down the street. “I saw you in the gym once, stretching, right?”
“Yes, that was me. And you are the Ballet dancer I ran into?” Nicole spoke, remembering their first meeting.
liljaolafsdottir:
“Yeah, it was my pride and joy for a long time. I loved doing ballroom, and not just because I got to wear a lot of fun sparkly dresses,” She said, laughing a little. She missed those days.
“Oh wow! That is amazing. Congratulations.” Lilja said when the girl told her she’d been cast as a primary within the ballet. “What do you guys have planned for the season? If I may ask.
“Do you still choreography?”
“Thanks,” she politely spoke. Being a primary wasn’t all that surprising anymore. She’d been a consistent primary in all her ballet companies for the last 7 years of her career. “We’re heading into Alice in Wonderland, actually.”

caughtupcasey:
“Don’t mention it, really. More than happy to help.”
“Well I’ll have to return the favour sometime.”
“It was great meeting you.”
A Day Late To The Party
It had been a long drive up to Aspen. The fact she’d just come from auditions was the reason she’d stayed awake in her car, pumping her music and singing to keep herself awake. She couldn’t be more grateful when she saw the resort appear on the horizon through what looked like an approaching storm.
When she’d finally arrived she was quickly send to Villa B suite 5, the staff in a rush with some other worries. Of course she hadn’t made it half way there when a light snow began and Nicole stopped to marvel at it.
All this winter wilderness surrounding her and washing the place in crystal white... it reminded Nicole of home.
