Little note: Although I do think Tripitaka doesn't cook his own food (relying on alms, and cooking from his disciples) I do think he's used to doing heavy chores due to his status as an orphan growing up. Being a kid, deliberately not sent there by families to go home to, therefore grew up being ordered around by his peers, or older monks. I imagine him being more resourceful and hardworking to "earn his keep" or place and that stuck to him on the journey. The heart has passion, and passionate it is on all things. :DD

I also think Bajie isn't held down by such values, He's just too lazy to do it himself and uses "its a girls thing" as an excuse 😭

Ok! Here we go! First fully rendered piece from one of my sketches! I totally lost track of time working on this. But hey, when you are listening to some BMW OST and have a full day of relaxation ahead of ya, what do you expect?

Anyways, had some fun with this. I picture him with golden fur, but after being put in the furnace for 49 days, I thought it would be cool to have some red to give the impression of permanently singed fur.
