The 4th instalment of the long running collaborative album series will launch today.
Balloon Party 4: Chromatic Horizons has been running since last year and we're excited to share the results of this project!
There will be a live mix on PonyvilleFM of the whole thing at 5:00pm EST (10:00pm GMT) with the album going live for download right after the premiere concludes at 6:00pm EST.

Thank you to everyone who has submitted. We’ve been listening to bits and pieces, and we are really digging what we have heard so far, legitimately. You guys really stepped it up, and we can’t wait to share this with everyone.
We’ve got some big release plans, including the potential for a bonus CD to be included with the physical release, WHICH IS HAPPENING, so don’t fret!
Again, thank you to everyone who participated, and I hope that whether or not your track gets featured, come out of this armed with the knowledge and experience and connections you’ve made with other producers. That’s what really counts in the long run, and with that kind of power behind you, and fuelled with your determination, you’ll go far.

So i have to send a request for feedback first and then submit the track? Or send an ask for feedback in the submission directly?
We will have a dedicated submission form for feedback only, ie not final submissions, and a form for submitting your final track. All final submissions are subject to review and we may get back in touch to advise some final changes ^^
Slight change of plans, and I’ll be putting an explanation under this post, so I’l give the TL;DR first.
You can submit your final finished songs on February the 3rd
The procedure for submission will be pretty simple. When you submit your tracks to our email address, you will need to put ‘FINAL SUBMISSION’ in your filename. However, we may come back to you with a little bit of feedback, if we feel that something could be sorted, potentially a mixing problem you’ve overlooked. Nothing creative focused, mostly technical stuff we want to help with.
The milestone will be going ahead as planned on the same day, but submissions for feedback will remain open all the way until the final deadline, so you can request feedback on your track before you submit it! I’ll be amassing a team of people to help with this so we can get it all out the door as quick as we get it in.
We hope you’re getting to the end of your track production, and look forward to hearing what you’ve made! Lets make sure this is the best Balloon Party album ever!
Now a note on the lack of the January 6th milestone. Simply put, I, Lavender, have been snowed under with work. I took on this project with the naive assumption that I would have time for all aspects of it, and I simply haven’t. I’ve been stressed and overworked and I’ve neglected it, and for that I’m sorry. I hope you’ve all been banding together and helping one another, I’m sure you have, I’ve seen plenty of it happening, and I’ll do my best to help make sure you get the help you need from here to the deadline.
It's January 6th but I don't see the form for the feedback milestone anywhere. Do we have to submit through somewhere else or is it just not up yet?
It’s not up yet. Truth be told we’ve been swamped with admin stuff and hadn’t figured in new years’ and stuff when we set out the dates, we’re behind on a lot of stuff. Not to worry, we will have everything sorted ASAP!

Unfortunately, the deadline for the second milestone for feedback has closed, but the next deadline will be a second compositional feedback milestone, and that will be on the 6th of January!
