Reblogging because I’m pissed off that people seem to find Anti-Nazi messages a hard concept to understand.

Why did I choose this show for this message?

1) Nathanael is Jewish hence his Antifa, anti Nazi message.

2) Nino is Moroccan. Morocco in the age of WWII was under the Vichy government, an anti-semantic regime. This is why he’s tearing up a Nazi flag (kind of hard to make out. My bad).

3) Alya has Martinique heritage. The people of Martinique are largely descendent of slaves from the Sugar plantation days. This is why she has an anti-white supremacy message.

4) Ladybug and Chat Noir are speaking directly to the viewer. As Parisians, they are fully aware of the Nazi occupation from WWII. They are the heralds of the show, crime-fighters, calling upon the viewer to fight evil.

If you think any of these teens would allow what’s going on to spread, I strongly believe that you are horribly mistaken.

If you are angry that I am politicizing a kid’s show, you better question yourself and why you’re mad that I’m using Ladybug, an evil fighting superhero, to spread an Anti-Nazi, Anti-white supremacist message.

It’s really heartbreaking to imagine how our Ciel must have felt when everyone was like “CIEL!! I’m glad you’re alive!” when he came back. Sure, it was his idea, his own decision to pretend to be “Ciel” and to deceive everyone, but I think the ellipses in these two scenes might be a sign of his hesitation and also feelings of guilt about lying. Especially in Lizzy’s case, our Ciel purposely avoided answering her crucial question “Are you really Ciel!?”.

We don’t know yet why our Ciel decided to take on his brother’s name, but whatever the reason, the fact that a 10-year-old boy, who literally went through hell for one month and lost his parents and his brother at once, couldn’t just say “No, I’m not Ciel, I’m [our Cie’s true name]” but had to lie to the bereaved is so sad.

I could just be really late to the party on this but here goes. 

Now that the 2 Ciel theory has been confirmed, I went back and watched some episodes in the anime. I rewatched episode 45 in Book of Circus, ‘His Butler, Sneering’. It’s SO blatantly obvious now that there are two kids with Vincent! I would have never second guessed it if this hadn’t been confirmed!
