Ultrafaux is a Baltimore based all original gypsy jazz ensemble led by guitarist Michael Joseph Harris who also leads Baltimore's Django Reinhardt tribute band Hot Club of Baltimore.

My amazing mom and I painstakingly restored these vintage metal cabinets in my house. I did a lot of the initial prep work and she did a lot of the final painting. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. After a lot of research, I used an enamel paint with a lint free roller that worked very well. Each coat required 24 hours to dry.

2018 was my first year teaching at Django In June. My classes were packed and energizing. I'll definitely include handouts next time I teach these classes to help organize the lesson. This was the scene at our last Django Jazz Night on Monday. An incredible crowd filled the Belgian Beer Bar in Hampden. There were even some amazing dancers who moved gracefully throughout the space. I've decided to learn to swing dance finally! Soon. Very soon. After I get back from the Netherlands. Next Djam @dekleineduivel will be sometime in early July. Learning from the best at #djangoinjune I lucked out and got to spend an hour alone with Angelo Debarre yesterday where he taught me some of his favorite songs including this intro to Swing Gitan. Then we jammed on many songs together. He is one of my favorite guitarists in the world 😁
