SoftBoi Erik x Reader (Uriah)
Summary: Loosely based off on “Spend it” by Summer Walker.
Uriah is a soft girl but Erik pissed her off sooo she spends Erik’s ✨munyun✨. With all the Sinners fics I HIGHkey been missing Erik lil thotty ass.
Furious wasn’t even the word to describe Uriah’s mood. She was in a full-blown psychotic state. A part of her seriously considered having a full Angela Bassett Waiting to Exhale moment with his clothes. Erik had pissed her off one too many times, and she was done.
She stormed out of his house and returned to her condo in the sky—because seriously, who the fuck needed Erik?
They’d gotten into another heated argument—this time over his feelings for her. Or rather, his inability to express them. And of course, Erik brushed her off like always, claiming she was “tripping” and that she should already know how he felt. But she didn’t. Sure, he bought her things. Said “I love you” occasionally. But she needed more than that. She wanted to hear why he loved her. Why her. Was that really too much to ask?
Uriah was done. Or so she told herself. Meanwhile, Erik wouldn’t stop blowing up her phone with calls and texts. Honestly, she was shocked he hadn’t already shown up at her door, banging to be let in.
Ding.
Another text. Erik was relentless.
“You done acting like a brat?”
“Call me when you’re ready to talk like an adult.”
“You miss this?”
That last one came with a picture of his dick. Typical.
He was the childish one, not her. If he could just be honest about his damn feelings, all of this would blow over. But instead, she was thirty-something, ready to settle down, while Erik still wanted to play games.
Fine. She could play too.
She fired back a single text, ignoring the garbage above it:
“Give me the last four of your credit card. Buy back my love—you can keep your heart.”
The bubbles popped up instantly.
“0004.”
Got him, she thought, smirking as she closed the app.
She wasn’t usually the type to buy lavish things, but Erik was. And she couldn’t wait to piss him off with all the extra charges when the statement hit.
She spent the afternoon deciding: elevate her “earthy girl” aesthetic or redecorate the condo she’d practically abandoned after getting serious with Erik. She opted for both.
Givenchy, diamonds, and pearls—three months’ worth of rent spent in a single spree. She knew Erik would be livid when the notifications started rolling in. That was the point.
Every purchase? Overnighted. Or, at minimum, express shipping.
She didn’t want sweet nothings anymore. She wanted to be spoiled. Pleasured.
Uriah stretched from her spot on the couch, got up, and packed her small orange duffle for a solo dinner followed by a luxurious two day staycation—spa, massage, the works. One more purchase wouldn’t hurt, she thought as she stepped out.
⸻
“No, I still haven’t heard from him.” Uriah mumbled into the phone, balancing it between her shoulder and ear while turning the key into her front door.
It had been three days since Erik’s last call or text. At this point, she was convinced it was over. And she might just have to sell her ass—and toes—to pay off all the damage she did to his black card.
She dropped her duffle and turned on the foyer light.
“FUCK!” she yelped.
There he was. Erik. Sitting in the middle of a sea of her packages.
“Ma, I’ll call you back,” she muttered, placing the phone down, eyes never leaving his.
“Erik, what are you doing here?”
He sat wide-legged in her chair, arms stretched over the sides like a king on a throne. Silent. Watching.
She scanned the room—most boxes were ripped open, contents sprawled across the floor and couch. Her heart pounded.
She stood frozen, like a child caught doing something bad.
“Baby?” she whispered, tucking a loc behind her ear. “I missed you.”
When in doubt, butter him up.
She eased her way between his legs.
“Silk Chanel scarf, $550. Givenchy blouse, $1,650. Pearl studs, $170…” Erik read from his phone, tracking her approach.
He stood, towering over her.
“Spend it on me?” he quoted from her message. “How you feel, Princess?”
His smirk brushed her ear like a whisper.
“I—I…”
Words failed her. The spite had melted into something softer, more vulnerable.
“Speak, Princess,” he said.
He rustled through the chaos, finally pulling out a box. Savage X Fenty.
“I’m feeling generous,” he said. “I’ll let you pick.”
That grin again. Deadly.
She exhaled sharply—hadn’t even realized she’d been holding her breath.
No time to overthink. She chose something buttercream yellow, delicate. She smoothed vanilla-coconut cream over her cocoa skin and slipped the lingerie on. Her locs cascaded freely down her back, just above the swell of her ass.
“Sit.”
His voice carried from the doorway.
She obeyed, settling at the edge of the bed as he approached.
“Uriah went and spent Daddy’s money like the fucking brat she is,” he spoke, amused.
He opened a James Allen jewelry box and placed a single diamond necklace around her neck.
“You’ve got good taste, though.”
He kissed her neck. She shivered.
“Erik, I’m sor—”
“Nah, Princess.” He locked eyes with hers. “You’re not sorry. Stand on business.”
Her lips parted. Her body buzzed.
“Before, my love couldn’t be bought. But now… maybe that’s all I want.”
She crawled up the bed.
“Buy me more, Daddy.” She pinched a nipple, spread her legs. “You never talk. You just throw gifts at me. But never your love.”
Her fingers slid between her thighs. Roaming her wet opening.
“Do you love me, Daddy?” Uriah began to unravel without his help.
Erik grabbed her wrist, licking her slick from her fingers before replacing them with his own.
He knelt beside the bed, stretching her open. Her eyes rolled back. Her body trembled.
“Of course I fucking love you,” he whispered, kissing her temple.
When he pulled his fingers from her, she whimpered. He trailed kisses from her neck to her thighs before diving back in.
“I love you!” she moaned, legs shaking. He lapped her up like honey.
He hovered, pressing kisses all over her face, then aligned himself with her entrance. His thick length slid in slow, deliberate.
“I love you,” he moaned into her mouth. “I fucking love you, Uriah.”
His thrusts were unhurried.
He hadn’t cared about the money. He had plenty. What hurt was his own inability to say what he felt.
But this? This was how he showed it. Every soft stroke was a confession.
Uriah’s hips moved with his rhythm, tears slipping down her cheeks as he pushed her legs back for a deeper angle.
He had never touched her like this.
Her body gave in.
“Baaaaby—”
He stroked her through it.
“That’s Daddy’s princess,” he whispered. “I love how you take care of us. I love your mind. I love the way your nose wrinkles when you think. How passionate you are. The way you care for everyone without wanting anything in return. Your fire. The way you challenge me. Make me a better man. I’m in love with you, Uriah.”
She sobbed beneath him. “I love you so much, Erik.”
And with every word, every movement, his walls crumbled.
Later, as they lay tangled together, she teased, “Maybe I should spend all your money. You talk better when I do.”
Erik chuckled, fingers stroking her locs. “Princess, you can have whatever you want.”
His voice faded into sleep.
Fuck that black card, she thought, snuggling into him. He has my heart.

Lost Soul
Modern Vampire Stack x Reader(s). Three Generations of black women.
“The eyes are the windows to the soul...”
He had seen those eyes once before. He had fallen for their warm brown hues—tones that reminded him of a simpler time, a version of life before death had touched him. Those eyes made him feel alive in a world where he had long since stopped living. They had once belonged to her, but now… they belonged to someone else. Still, they stirred something deep in him, something ancient. When he looked into them, it was as if his soul—lost for centuries—had finally been found.
Elias “Stack” Moore had been turned in 1932. After the Juke Joint tragedy of 1992, he walked the world alone, never letting anyone close. Why would he? He had watched his twin brother, Elijah, die. His lover, Mary, shattered by the guilt of turning him, never recovered. Every bond he formed unraveled in death or abandonment. He remained untouched by time—skin still supple, frozen in the prime of his 30s, even as the decades wore on.
Then he met her in 1992. ShaNiece. She changed everything. With her, life felt worth living—until it wasn’t. Her death tore that hope away.
For years, he drifted, a soul half-buried, until 2025. That’s when he saw her again—not ShaNiece, but someone who felt like her. Solana. There was something hauntingly familiar in her gaze, in her presence. She awakened something in him he thought was lost forever.
What Elias didn’t know was that their connection ran deeper than memory. It was fate—waiting, watching, circling back.
Mini Series. Unsure of how much it will consist of. Just enjoying writing again so here I am… writing!
A Sinners FanFic by WriterBee
“Art Thou Forgiven” A Sinners Fanfic
You’d always admired your Daddy’s love for music. Sometimes you questioned if he actually loved it more than he loved you but you were sure that was your Momma’s doing. Her and Daddy were always bickering about something. Mostly because of music and how it managed to take him places that never had any room for her to be apart of. He’d tell her that the music was his escape. A place that made him happy because living in the souths of Mississippi and working for the white man wasn’t a place you wanted to stay grounded in. Just like Daddy loved his music, you loved someone equally important but just like Momma, you hated the life they chose and how it never included you…
The Mississippi Delta, 1932
The sun beamed on the back of your neck as you made your way towards the market. You silently crused yourself because why the fuck wouldn’t you grab the hat off your kitchen table before walking in the thick Mississippi heat.
You let out a slow breath as you walked inside of the Chow’s market anticipating the cool air. Grabbing basket, you nodded towards Lisa, Grace and Bo Chow’s daughter, who was working the register. She gave a half uninterested smile continuing to check customers out.
You strolled through the aisle slowly just so you could take in the crisp air a little longer. You would often hear the ‘welcome’ bell from the door ring as you walked around.
“Daaaaaaaddy?!” Bo’s daughter yelled just enough for him to come from sliding out of the back.
“What?” He questioned throwing his hand towel out of his hand.
Making your way towards the dry goods in the back section, you heard a familiar voice. “Bo Chow” Your ears perked up as your head ducked towards the lower parts of the seasoning.
“Look at what the damn cat dragged in.”
You dropped the basket making your way to the exit of the market. You didn’t want to look back because if one was in town that meant the other one wasn’t too far off.
“Lil Slim.” You’d always hated the nickname but when folks around town saw you they knew exactly who you belonged to. Thee Delta Slim. You adorned the same features from your cocoa skin, full lips to you brown sleepy eyes. “Don’t make me call you again, woman”
You halted in your tracks before turning slowing, kicking up dust in the process. You met his gazed as you sauntered towards him. “Elijah?” You let out more as a question. “I see you’re back in town”
“Elijah? Damn Lil Slim first name basis?” He looked you up and down taking another pull before flicking the blunt from his lips. You know I saw you runnin’ out that damn store like you seen a ghost or sum shit..” Rolling your eyes slightly, you moved from his eyes to his hands due to the rustling. “I bought up that lil’ basket on my way out. Call it a gift…”
“I’m just fine, Smoke.” You pursed your lips tightly together so he wouldn’t notice the lie that had left your lips. “The devil never gives gifts only favors.” You wanted to hurt his feelings so he could leave you alone like he did 7 years ago.
“Take this bag, woman.” A chord hadn’t even been struck by your words. He was use to the sass flying out your mouth. He’d grabbed your hand swiftly dropping the straps into your palm. “I’ll be seeing you, Lil Slim.”
He jumped in his truck without another word. The engine purring as he made his way down the dirt road.
*
“(Y/N)! I’ll be back girl. Gots to go down to the station and make a lil money before tonight’s show at the club.” He’d kissed your cheek, smelling of corn liquor, before walking out the door.
You were too hot and tired from your walk back to disagree long enough to stop him. Slim might have been making money but you only saw it in the form of a bottle turnt to his lips. You sat on the small sofa gathering yourself before making your way to the kitchen. This had become a routine on your days off from working. Making a market run, cleaning up a little and cooking something heavy for Slim to put on his stomach after a night of drinking and caring on down at the club.
You wanted more for yourself but after your Momma had passed on and the Moore men leaving, you felt the need to try to get closer to Slim because he was all you had left. Ol’ drunk and all.
You let up all the windows trying not to get the smell of catfish frying in your hair. A couple of hours ago, your best girlfriend had invited you out to this new Juke Joint earlier after hearing some dudes talking about how some other dudes got shot over trying to steal liquor from the owner. You were a little worried about going but you needed to let your hair down and have some fun.
*
You could hear the music as you and Pinky pulled into the lot full of cars straight towards the middle to show off her brand new gift. Pinky, also known as Priscilla, was your best friend that loved to show off the gifts that her husband bought her. Since she hated her much older husband she was always down to cut loose. Her husband knew how she got down but apparently he did the same. That was their business and you never asked too many questions but always listened when she needed to talk.
“(Y/N), don’t that sound like your daddy on that harmonica?” She smiled taking your arm to loop around hers. “Ooou it’s hot in here tah’night.”
“Well don’t y’all look like some mighty fine woman?” Another familiar voice. “How you doing, Lil Slim?” He smiled helping you after Pinky into the threshold of the club. “Delta in hea’ got these people feelin’ good.”
You smiled giving him a slight hug taking in the full atmosphere. “Doing good, Cornbread. How’s the wife?” “You in here working the door?” All he could do was nod and tell you that she was doing well before you were whisked away to the bar.
“Now what we drinking, ladies?” The bartender asked going back and forth between you and the gentleman sitting at the end.
“Whateva’ they asking fo’.” Although they were twins, you could always tell them apart. You didn’t even want to look up but you also wanted him to know he didn’t have any effect on you anymore. Neither of them did. The bartender had passed rounds of moonshine with fruits inside.
“SJ” He grinned flashing that fancy smile your way. He knew how much you hated “Lil Slim” back in the day so he’d decided to call “SJ” short for “Slim Jr”.
“Hello Elias” You grumbled “How you doing?” You asked pulling yourself from the bar after taking the drink in one gulp. You shimmied onto the dance floor with a random man. You really didn’t care how or what he was doing these days. Last you heard the SmokeStack twins had went north to cause trouble.
You kept your feet moving no matter the song. You’d even witnessed Sammie and your damn Daddy playing a couple of songs together. You noticed everything in the joint. You’d been taking mental images of the night’s festivities and how everyone seemed to be freed by their burdens. How they came in letting loose and feeling good.
“Why’d you sto-“ you turned to ask the guy you had pretty much held captive to avoid Elias from coming your way.
“Stack, this your woman?” The man was already a foot away from you surrendering you to the devil himself.
“Scary ass nigga” You spat looking up at him. “You love messing up a good thang, don’t yah?” All he did was grin at you showing a glint of gold. That sly smirk had gotten you in so much trouble in the past. “Well?” You questioned releasing the shawl that matched your dressed perfectly onto a near by chair. “You gon ask me to dance or what?”
There it was. You giving into him without him saying a word. That was how it went with you and them. Elijah was a giver while Elias loved to take.
“Damn SJ” he spun you around placing your back against his chest. “You not so lil no mo’” you felt him touching your hips adding pressure to his grip. “Seven years did you some good.”
“Hope this isn’t your attempt to get me in some back room, Stack.” He guided your hips into a slow grind. “Half of these Mississippi Delta women have their eyes on you and Smoke. Won’t you go grind on one of them”
As soon as those words left your lips, she’d approached them attempting to cut in.
“Well well…if it isn’t Little Miss Slim” Her southern drawl was laced with venom. “Not so little anymore are we” She smirked. “Maybe you should go cool down with a drink, honey. You’re looking parched”
You couldn’t understand her issue with you. You knew her and Stack would mess around every now and then but everyone knew that their relationship wasn’t serious. Never would be and never could be.
“That’s (Y/N) to you” You smiled as you slowed your hips down. Elias still behind you. “It’s a beautiful night. It’s been a few years since we’ve seen each other and here you are ready to cause drama” “I thought you white women were supposed to be classy?” You couldn’t help yourself. You didn’t hate Mary but you hated how out of character she could be around Elias or Stack as she loved to call him.
You had already understood that Mary and Stack’s relationship wasn’t serious purely based off of it being forbidden. She was a white passing dainty woman and he was a black man. This world would never accept it but that was the danger was the foundation of it. Elias was the one that had pursued you. He’d always say you were different and too damn independent for your own good. You could read him like a book and he could do the same. Neither of you ever acted on your feelings but you both knew that there was something there.
“S’cuse me?” Her face went pale as you felt Elias’ lips smiling into your neck.
“Stack, you gon let her talk to me like that?” She’d moved on to fighting with him. She knew better than to keep going on because eventually you would get tired and get physical.
“What you want me to say, woman?” He let you go but you stayed in between them. “I told you to stay the fuck away from me at that station.”
“Mmmh…” “Well make me leave then, Stack!” She muttered. They bickered completely ignoring your presence as if you’d somehow managed to become invisible in seconds.
You had had enough of their bickering before it started. You made your exit looking for Pinky so you could leave and make it home so you could make sure Slim didn’t pass out on the floor instead of his room.
“Lil Slim, you seen Stack?” Elijah asked as you were walking around the area.
“I’ll tell yah if you take me home?” You smiled attempting to make a way. “You know you can’t let your hopeless friend be stranded and walking home in these parts at night.”
His hard exterior softened but he never smiled. You could tell he was thinking it over. You knew he wouldn’t let you walk at night but after finding out the Juke Joint belonged to him and Elias, you knew he had to be here for the business.
“I’ll have Stack do it.” “Last I seen Pinky she was making her way to the back with Preacher talking about ice cream.” He shook his head a little confused as he moved towards the crowd.
“He was arguing on the dance floor with Mary last time I saw him!” You called sitting at the bar again. You knew they had probably moved on from the argument into each other pants but who were you to care. He wasn’t yours.
*
After arguing with Elias the whole way, you’d finally made it back to your place. Turns out him and Mary had did more than argue just like you knew they had.
“What’s on your mind?” He spoke cutting the engine looking towards you. “Thinking about us?”
You looked over at him, pulling the shawl closer to your body. “Stack, you and Mary are meant for each other. All you do is lie and cause trouble.” You were hurt and he knew. You were tired of being second to her when it came to him. You couldn’t deal with it anymore.
“Stack?” Was all he mustered up before touching your thigh. “Mary ain’t got shit on you, SJ. You know that, right?” He rubbed circles into your thigh with his finger. “Mary ain’t the one that i want to make it back home to when I’m away.”
“But Mary gives you what you want?” You’d never had sex. You wanted to save yourself for your husband. That was thing yah Momma had drilled into you. ‘Don’t no man want a ran through woman.’ A part of you hoped that would be Elias but he was too caught up in the high life and the web that Mary had spun around him to notice you and cater to your body in that way. “It’s fine, honey.” Your lips curved into a tight lipped smile. “You’ll always belong to Mary and the streets. There’s nothing wrong with it. Just don’t get hurt messing with ha’” You surrendered grabbing up your purse while you touched the handle of the door prepared to get out.
“But Mary ain’t the one who’s got my heart, (Y/N)…” He grab your thigh catching you off guard halting your movement. As you looked up at him you were met with his deep brown eyes staring at you softly before laying a kiss on your lips. “I miss you. I love you.” He mumbled against your lips. “My heart belongs to you, woman.”
You couldn’t get caught up with him. He’d left and never made things official with you. You were holding out for a miracle from the devil . And you were tired of waiting. “Mary and Smoke have your heart equally. There’s no room for me in it.” You looked down, “Take care of yourself, Elias.” You muster up taking your exit.
He was Erik...
So I came across MBJ’s interview onset gifs and the video (again) a couple of weeks! I also remember him interviewing w/ Oprah saying the role had began to make him depressed because he had to really dig deep to find the hurt Erik felt sooo I wrote the little one shot as MBJ’s significant other going through the lows of the role. Hope it’s good and someone likes it 🥴😅
——————————————————————————
“Me and Ryan … we’ve worked together a few times.” He stammered on his words. “And this is a project that we -you know- spoke about and once he heard about it” He rubbed his nose more signaling his irritation from all the questions. “Wanted me to do something different and play a villain” The sinister gleam had become evident in his now midnight black orbs. “my initial thoughts was like cool … when do we start?” He shrugged towards the interviewer.
Glancing at Michael one last time on your laptop screen, you’d realized the water on the brim of your eyes threatening to fall. While everyone loved the thought of an all black major cast and celebrated Michael for his role as one of Marvel’s greatest antagonists, you hated the role deep down in your core. You would never tell a soul that especially your friends and family but you saw what Erik ‘Killmonger’ Stevens did to your once happy, loving, and caring boyfriend.
The role had Michael eating different and even spending more and more of his time away from the house avoiding you like the plague. When he did decide to make an appearance at home, Michael isolated himself from you by taking up residency in a completely different room on the other side of your shared home. He shut you out of his life and one night ended up telling you how much he hated you and how much he wanted you to pack up and leave. Oddly enough you couldn’t leave. You didn’t want to leave him alone to go through this role. After awhile you two rarely spoke. He’d been quiet these days simply writing in his one of his many journals he always used to prepare for any role he had. His appearance was even different from the Michael you knew and so was the way he smelled. He was no longer the love of your life. This was a stranger...
The stream of tears fell down your cheek as you sat in there against the bed frame. Watching his Black Panther interviews had became a dirty habit of yours. You were desperate to figure out what happened to Michael. Searching for any clues in the context. Anyone on the outside would see Mike’s interviews and swoon over his appearance as Killmonger but you knew the truth. You knew how the role was eating him from the inside out but he wouldn’t dare admit. You knew how irritate and angry he was becoming when it came to interviews or being social. You knew and the only thing that you could do was cry.
“Michael?” You hummed hearing footsteps coming from the hallway of your shared home breaking you from your thoughts. He’d been ignoring you since his dive into that character. “Bakari…” You whispered before planting your feet on the plush carpet making your way towards ‘his room’. “Mic-“
“Would you stop calling my damn name!” He growled at you through clenched teeth. His dark eyes looked through you as if you were nothing to him. “I heard you the first fucking time!” His chest moved up and down rapidly. “What do you want, (Y/N)?”
Standing there feeling small under his harden glaze, you chewed on your bottom lip nervously attempting to muster up the courage to speak to him. “I-I” You hummed out playing with the hem of his once favorite t-shirt you wore. “I miss you.” Your breath hitched as he made way towards you looking at you intensely. This was the first time Michael had been this close to you .
The devilish grin spread across his face, “Nah.” He chuckled slightly. “I don’t believe that.” His head swayed back and forth before going back to his suitcase to ignore you again.
The hot tears flowed from your face once agin like a facet turned on high, while you stood there feeling completely shut out. “Where is Michael?’ You hummed looking at this angry stranger. “I fucking hate what this character did to you!” You snapped throwing one of the African souvenirs you’d bought when you went to set with him for a couple of weeks.
“You hate it?” Mike chuckled stopping mid fold. “You didn’t hate the shit when you were trying to fuck Killmonger.” He laughed deeply making his way towards you. “Or what about all the shit you bought with my money … off this role that you hate so much?” The only sound in the room was Michael’s panting breath against your left temple.
You wanted to deny what he said but you simply couldn’t. “You know what?” You peeped out lowly tired of the constant cries, the lonely dark nights and mourning mornings. “I can’t do this, Michael.” Your eyes averted to the left to look into those unknown eyes. “This role has done something to you You’re always hostile, sad, angry… ju- just not yourself.” The tears were flowing slowly onto your already stained cheeks. “Always looking as if you want to kill everything or everyone in sight.. including me.” You mumbled the last part. “I understand you have to do what needs to be done for this role but you need help.”
His eyes rolled at the thought of help. What help did he need? Michael knew once he was done with this role he could put Erik “Killmonger” Stevens to rest with all his other roles. (Y/N) was just being a spoiled brat because he was always away for the movie. He wasn’t angry nor hostile. He wasn’t sad or depressed. He didn’t have built up rage. That was all Erik and Erik wasn’t real. He had to make Erik come to life so he had to do what he needed to. He was angry. He was depressed. He was filled with rage. He was Erik and Erik was him. He was losing everything and everyone he loved. He needed help.
(Y/N) couldn’t look at Michael anymore. He wasn’t himself and although she loved him, she couldn’t continue to be his punching bag. She couldn’t continue to hold hate for the breakthrough role Michael so desperately was excited about. She loved him too much but you loved yourself even more. “I’ll always be here for you but I can’t stay here with you.” You mumbled into Michael’s chest. “Enough is enough.” You stood on your tiptoes as you placed a light kiss on his cheek, feeling him flench at the action.
As much as you didn’t want to leave you had to ....

My Beyoncé is having My Baby ….
This is for @nerd-lovely . Thank you for all the prompts, love!
Okay I have 3 ideas for erik
1. Erik and reader having baby shower and dancing to their favorite song. I thought song should my beyonce by lil durk
A little FAM!Erik! Baby Zaddy Erik! Reader is 8 months pregnant but she still AND WILL FOREVER BE with the turn up!
Of course Shuri went with a safari/jungle theme for the shower. You would’ve honestly been surprised if she’d picked anything different meaning one of your themes or Erik’s ratchet ass theme. You smiled looking at all the pink and blue that compliment the golds. The shower reminded you of the Udaku family… royal and prestigious but you wouldn’t have it any other way. You were grateful for your newfound family and the love and support.
“You look beautiful, cousin.” Shuri spoke touching the side of you huge belly. You often wondering if you had a second, or even a third, baby hiding inside of your bump due to how huge you appeared. “Do you like the baby shower/gender reveal so far?” “You Americans have a party for anything.” She joked.
You shook your head embracing her into the tightest hug you could offer. “It’s beautiful, Shuri. Although I’m sure Erik will be disappointed that his Oakland, Cali vibe ideas didn’t get put to use.” You laughed as Shuri gave you a distasteful look.
“N’Jadaka has no taste.” She muttered before frowning. “He wanted gold chains and beers at his baby’s party.”
“No what?!” You heard you man’s voice call as he made his way towards the both of you.
“Taste, cousin.” Shuri smirked. “Something you lack.”
“You see this beautiful ass women, Shuri?!” He questioned as his gold fangs were in full display. “I got fucking taste.” He stuck his tongue out at you. “So does she.”
“Goodbye N’Jadaka.” Shuri waved off moving towards other family memeber.
“How you feeling, Princess.” He questioned palming your belly.
“I’m fi-“
“Shh. I was talking to baby girl.” He silenced you patting your stomach then kissing it. You were blown away when Erik decided he wanted a little girl first. You honestly thought he wanted a little mini him. A “prince” to match his “king” like aura.
“But it could be a boy, Erik.” You smirked lifting his head by his chin towards your. “We don’t know.”
“Nah, princess.” Erik smirked. “I can feel it. It’s definitely a little mini you.” He smiled. “Daddy already has his guns and shit waiting cuz I know you’re going to be beautiful.”
You rubbed up and down your bump watching Erik. “Daddy just doesn’t realize your a boy.” You laughed. “You’re going to be using those guns on him if he doesn’t get with the program.” You snickered.
“Keep all that.” He side eyed you before grabbing your hand as you both made your rounds to all the family.
“Shit.” You mumbled shifting from your left to right butt cheek. You were feeling slight discomfort in your abdomen but you were determined to get through the shower. Baby boy just needed to chill for a couple more hours.
“You okay, Y/N?” You best friend, Leah asked watching you shift slightly. “You look in pain?”
“Shh. I’m fine, sis.” You smiled. “So about this revel!” You hopped up as you friend called everyone outside.
You watched as Erik, T’challa, M’Baku and W’Kabi came out in basketball jersey with their gender predictions on the back. “Aight y’all this for my baby girl.” Everyone turned towards you but you knew exactly what Erik meant.
“It’s a boy, cousin.” T’challa spoke up passing the ball between his fingers. “Look at how she’s carrying.”
“You been eyeing my girl, T?!” Everyone laughed at Erik’s joke before the game got started. They played a two on two game. Erik and M’Baku vs T’challa and W’Kabi. Of course shit was being talked due to the geneder of your baby. You were honestly ready to find out what you were having. 8 months was just too long and you were tired of buying gender neutral clothing.
“Can someone shoot the damn ball!” You urged from your seat. “Shit.” You mumbled highly irritated you it all.
“Calm yo ass down.” Erik spoke in your ear grabbing the basketball bomb to dunk. “Y’all ready?!” He smiled. The crowd yell out “yes” and “boy or girl” while sporting either color.
“Erik, hurry up!” You cried.
Tears were actually forming in your eyes due to the anxiety but mostly the hormones. You got up standing near your best friend and Shuri as Erik shot the ball into the basket. The pink powder covered the area and the near by family members while people cheered and cane to hug you.
“Aye T! Pay the fuck up!” Erik yelled grabbing you in his arms kissing you passionately. “It’s a girl! Like I got a whole daughter out here.” You were speechless but Erik had enough words for the both of you. You smiled and cried gripping you belly. “Yooo kill this traditional Wakandan ass music! We need to celebrate.”
You heard one of Erik and your favorite songs come from the DJs speakers. “Yaaaaas!” You turned up before backing up on Erik as he tossed his shirt to the side grabbing ahold of your hips.
“Ooh I like the way she move
Shawty my baby, my everything, she the truth
Together we cool, me and her can’t lose!” Erik sung loudly off key. “Shawty my Beyoncé!”
“Erik and Y/N.” You sang repeatedly switching up the lyrics to fit. “Shawty my Beyoncé!” You smiled rolling your hips against him. You were in complete bliss with Erik.
Erik leaned towards you ear whispering the lyrics.
“The way you wear that dress, they gon’ attack you
The way you look at me, baby I got you
I hit it from the front, I like the back too
She say, Lay down so I can ride you
I know that she feinding
She scratchin’ my back, I like how she screamin”.
You turned around facing him to kiss his lips wrapping your arms around his neck. “Shawty my Beyoncé.”
“That’s how that baby got here!” Someone from your side of the family yelled from the crowd making everyone laugh. “All that shaking and grinding!”
Sofa….
Okay so I tried to make this a REAL short because obviously I don’t write anything short 😂🤦🏾♀️.
This is boyfriend!Erik shopping for furniture well a sofa with his bae! Reader is a lowkey bratty but I mean aren’t we all bratty with our man. I mean I single as fuck right now but y’all know what I’m talm ‘bout🙄😂!
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
“Erik?” You called as your body melted against the grey faux fur sofa. “What about this one?” You smiled closing your eyes convinced that he’d appreciate the fine statement piece. It was a cool grey so it wouldn’t tarnish Erik’s macho man person but still held the feminine touch with the white and pink pillows.
You heard the deep hearty laugh in front of you before popping your eyes open. “You think this going in my house, princess?” He laughed again with his face contorted. “Nah.” His eyes combed over the pink ottoman in the center. “You really testing it, princess.”
“Our house, Erik.” You rolled your eyes as you picked yourself up from the sofa. “It’s cute and I refuse to let some big leather ugly ass sofa into our new space.” Grabbing his hand, you pulled Erik onto the plush sofa before sitting on his lap. “Imagine us laying around on this.” You smirked pushing some of his locs out of his face. “It’s soft, right?”
“Imagine the other shit we could be doing.” His muscular strong hands had found their way to your ass. “Think I can fuck you on this weak ass shit?” Erik’s dark brown orbs had burned a hole into your soft eyes as he gave your backside a squeeze.
You knew he was waiting for an answer but you had to be petty simply because you wanted this sofa. “That’s why we’re buying a brand new bed, Erik.” You smiled sweetly wrapping your arms around his neck. “Sofas are for sitting babe.” You’d rolled over on the side of him relaxing. “Relaxing, ya know?”
“Jokes?” His head nodded before he got up from his place and walked over to a chocolate leather sofa across from you. “This.” He smirked opening his legs wide and licking his lips just to taunt you. “We could do a lot on this.” He winked at you as you priced the pillows of you sofa choice. “Imagine some dope ass African pieces and shit.” He smiled in a daze.
You sighed watching him across the room. “This definitely looks like your old sofa in your old apartment with your old girlfriend, Erik.” You rolled your eyes figuring he didn’t hear a thing you said considering he was now relaxed on the leather trash across from you.
“Really Y/N?” He kissed his teeth together looking over at you. “This has nothing to do with her or that old ass sofa.” “I like the shit for us, iight?” He smiled. “Get out yah feelings because this the one, princess.”
“Hell n-“
“How you guys doing?” A salesmen made his way over. He smiled looking back and forth between you and Erik unknowingly breaking up the battle that was about to take place.
You had smiled politely before opening your mouth, “We’re going-“
“With this one.” Erik spoke over you to the guy. “We love it. Don’t we, princess?” You rolled your eyes moving towards other pieces leaving them both.
After a few minutes alone, you’d found the perfect accessories to accompany that ugly ass sofa Erik decided on. Wandering around the store with the stools, you found Erik looking over some African Art pieces for his ugly ass living room.
“Done wit yah little attitude, brat?” His voice was calm as you walked up beside him facing him.
“We’re getting these.” You had completely ignore what he’d called you and stood your ground placing the plush reddish stools on the floor between you both. “Especially if we’re getting your sofa and shit.”
“Whatever you want, princess.” He spoke calmly walking with the stools to the register. “Whatever you want.”
“Yep.” You rolled your eyes walking out towards the car with a full blown attitude.
The ride was quiet but you honestly didn’t mind. You weren’t sure if Erik still had you pissed off or it was actually a comfortable silence because you were tired from being pissed off with him. Erik had been making stop after stop eventually leading to you falling asleep.
“Y/N?” Erik’s voice called as the car stopped in front of your new home together. Rolling your eyes, you walked inside before Erik looking around the new empty apartment. You couldn’t help but to slightly smile at your home with your man. “Aye Y/N!” Erik’s voice boomed through the empty space. “Com’mer.”
“What do you want, Stevens.” You questioned laced full attitude. Yeah you were probably being a bitch but so the fuck what. Erik had pissed you off.
Following his voice. You made your way towards you designated office area. “May I help y-“
“This was the one, right?” He laughed as your mouth went ajar while looking at the piece. “Close yah mouth before Daddy put something in it.” He whispered in your ear holding you waist.
You couldn’t even give a bitchy reply nor were you mad at Erik anymore. He’d given you the exact thing you wanted for the apartment. The grey faux fur sofa you had bitched about. “Thank you Daddy.” You had to admit it would look better in your office than it would ever look in the living room. You turned around to give Erik a well deserved kissed.
“Whatever brat.” He smirked breaking the kiss. “Now let’s break this shit in.” He winked. “Oh and that new bed too.”
Distance Won’t Stop Us ….
Sooo here’s a request from @thehomierobbstark !
“Oooh can you do a fic where Erik and the reader are long distance and one of them surprises the other? It can be emotional if you want!!”
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
‘304 days.’ You thought. ‘43 weeks or 10 months to be exact.’ However you broke it down, the number had been stamped into your head since day one and unfortunately it had been going up ever since. Stevens. Erik Stevens was the reason. The reason you had convinced yourself that one more second, minute, hour or day was okay to wait for him. Then you realized those days had turned into weeks and then into months.
“I can’t do this.” You sighed peeling the sheets away from your body as you watched the happy couples on Instagram together. You and Erik hadn’t even established a title. For all you knew you were in a long distance situationship with this man. I mean he was in New York while you resided south in Georgia. It had been awhile since you seen each. Years to be exact. He’d been attending school at M.I.T, while you had been attending a small college for your business degree to get your shop started. You two would often see each other around until one day he’d actually had the balls to approach you. After awhile Erik and you had started to date but after graduating the both of you had lost touch until 10 months ago on social media.
Erik and you had always planned trips but they would always fall through. Either due to your new found position as business owner or his high position at one of many Wankandan Outreach Centers. Both of you were too busy for each other but neither of you could admit it.
The vibration inside your palm had knocked you out of your thoughts.
Thinkin bout you, princess - 9:15am
Of course he’d texted you after you had finally convinced yourself this relationship wasn’t working. Maybe he had sensed the distance you’d been giving him for awhile. Maybe you should give this more time. Maybe things would work out. “No.” You mumbled at the air as your fingers urged to reply but your mind fought it. Instead you left him on read so you could start your day without thinking of him.
Taking a sip of your blackberry tea, you turned on your laptop ready to get started on some work. It had been 4 hours since the text from Erik and you were actually holding up better than you thought. That was before the familiar FaceTime chime began on your computer.
“Princess.” He smirked into the screen as you looked stunned. Curse your fingers for accidentally answering the FaceTime call on your MacBook and curse your heart for melting at the sound of his voice.
“Erik.” You mumbled looking down. You couldn’t stare at him. You knew he would pull you back in and you wouldn’t protest.
“We need to talk.” He spoke seriously. Here it was your moment. Did he know? We’re you being that obvious? Were you nervous? Hell Yes, but this needed to be done . You needed to tell him that this distant was holding you back from finding love. Making you regret reconnecting with him. It was ultimately driving you crazy. “Y/N?” Erik spoke interrupting your thoughts.
“Erik, I can’t do this!” The words had spewed from your lips like vomit. The tears were forming at the brim of your eyes and your lip was now quivering. “I need a real relationship. It’s been 10 months and we haven’t seen each except through a phone or computer screen.” You sighed regaining a bit of composure. “I want to believe I’m your girlfriend, Erik because I fell for you; because I love you.” You sniffled. “but I don’t know if I am and we’ve never made anything clear.”
Erik sat there in silence looking at you intensely. He hadn’t spoken a word as you continued to breakdown wiping the stray tears. His jaws were locked tight as his right temple pulsated out of anger. The silence had became too loud for your comfort while his glared was killing you slowly.
“What do you want?” He questioned as his gazed fell to something offscreen.
“I want a man, Erik. A man that’s here with me.” You mumbled. “A man that I can wake up to everyday and be the last thing I see at night before I close my eyes.”
“Iight.” He nodded clenching his teeth tightly again. ‘Click.’ There it was. The last thing you would here Erik say to you. 10 months of love had dwindled down to an iight in a matter of seconds.
You were a wreck and your face was evident. Between your tear stained cheeks and your soaked pillow. Your mind wanted to call Erik and talk things through. Maybe work harder at a schedule to see each other. You could try travel to New York and him to Georgia but honestly you had truly fucked up and now you would have to live with it.
‘He didn’t even fight for you, Y/N. He basically said fuck you.’ You thought attempting to pull yourself together. ‘So fuck him!’ You confirmed in your mind. “Yeah fuck him.” You wiped your face then attempted to fix your hair before deciding to leave your apartment for some fresh air but instead you managed to fall asleep.
Waking up from your sleep due to the heavy knocks on your door had threw you off simply because no one really knew where you lived expect for your close friends and there was no way they would show up unannounced. You looked out of the peephole seeing him. There was no way this was happening. How the hell long were you sleep? You were too shocked to answer the door after the knock grew louder.
“Open up, princess.” His voice carried through the door as you stood there shocked. You wanted to cry. You wanted to run and hide because you couldn’t face him. Shit. “I won’t ask again, princess.” You knew Erik was crazy but not enough to come all the way south to kill your black ass.
Biting the corners of your bottom lip and dragging your fingers over your fluffy coils, your feet drug themselves to the door. “Er-Erik?” You sniffled opening the door wider. “What are you doing here?”
Erik’s lips formed into a devilish smirk as he watched you. “You said you wanted a man.” He winked walking towards you. “One to be here for you. Everyday, all day.” Letting his heavy duffel bag hit the floor. “When I said we needed to talk it was about me moving here for work… and for you.”
You looked at him for any lie but you couldn’t find one. He was here for you. Erik wanted to be in your life. Have a relationship with you. “Erik?” You spike coming out more as a question due to your disbelief.
“Is that all you can say?” He chuckled lightly. “You had a lot to say earlier before my flight.”
“I-I.” You stumbled over your words before running towards him falling into his body. “Erik.” You cried into his neck. “You’re here.”
“Yeah.” He kissed your forehead. “For good.” You felt him grip you tighter. “ I want to make this shit real. Make it work.” His breath was shallow. “I’m making the move for you.” Erik looked down at you before his lips pressed against yours. “You’re mine.” He whispered into your lips. “I love you princess.”
Tutor Session
So I got this request sent from @hyejooismybaby AND I most definitely wrote 2 versions 😂😭✨
Here’s version 2 ! This is more like asshole vibe turned lowkey sweet Erik !
Hope yah enjoy 😊!
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
“Wake up. Z. Sis, I swear if you don’t wake yo ass up.” Your best friend, Aziza, mumbled as she gave little taps to you shoulder. “Biiiiiitch.” She drug out before you popped your eyes open realizing you had missed about half of the African Studies lecture.
“Damnit.” You groaned gathering your laptop and books. “Why’d you let me sleep so long.”
“Now sis…” She side eyed you as you both walked out of the double doors. “Somebody had to take our damn notes.
Grabbing your tablet quickly from your bag, you looked over the emailed notes Aziza had sent to you and then you remembered why you feel asleep in the first place. It wasn’t that you were tired but the it was the subject at hand that had put you in your temporary coma. “Fucking language.” You mumbled as your eyes were still training on you iPad walking through the yard. “There are like 1000 plus African languages and Professor Pike thought IsiXhosa would be the best to teach us.” You were beyond irritated because this was the main reason you were on the verge of failing your African Studies course.
“Zazie, just get a tutor.” Aziza suggested as you both made it to the campus cafe. “Fine ass Pike has a whole roaster of tutors near his office.” She shrugged as you both swiped your IDs. You definitely had to remind yourself to ask your friend how the fuck she knew that considering you two had never been to Pike’s office together.
“I don’t think I need a tutor, A. Maybe I just have to study more-“
“And stop falling asleep.” She laughed. “It’s hard enough actually listening to Pike instead of daydreaming about his chocolate ass.”
“Hoe, he could be your daddy.” You scoffed waiting in like for you green machine smoothie.
“Exactly.” She winked. “He could be annnnnd so could they.”
You followed her gaze to the ‘Anything but Holy’ Threesome or that’s what you heard girls around the campus call them. First up was T’challa. You had heard he was the most serious out the three. Though he had his roaster of ass you’d had only heard good things about how he treated women and pretty much everyone. Then there M’Baku. The big and tall ass niggah that only wore a smug look on his face. You had heard he was somewhat nice but he’d make you feel stupid all at the same time especially anyone that annoyed him. Lastly there was Erik. Erik was the ‘fuck boy but I still wanna fuck him ass’ type niggah. Bitches fell at his feet and other niggahs knew what the fuck it was when he was around. He was a complete dog.
“Ew.” You rolled your eyes as you both made it to a table. It wasn’t that you had an issue with them, it was just the fact that they walked around like Gods and it was purely annoying.
“Ew?” Aziza looked up from her phone. “Sis, say what you want but they are fine.”
“Whatever.” You laughed taking another sip looking at your watch. “Shit!” You popped up grabbing all of your things forgetting about your 3 o’clock class.
“Slow down, bitch!” You heard Aziza call before your body collided with something hard.
“Damn girl.” His deep voice spoke looking down on you. “Watch where you going.”
Fucking Erik. “How about you move away from the damn exit. Big body ass just blocking shit.” You groaned picking up all your books and papers.
“Ah she’s feisty.” M’Baku chuckled as he watched you struggle.
“If you were watching what you were doing you wouldn’t have ran into my big body ass, princess.”
“Leave her alone, cousin.” T’challa rolled his eyes grabbing some of your things for you. His nice ass.
“Whatever.” You just focused on your belongings thanking God that they had left but not before M’Baku mumbled something and you heard Erik’s comment.
“Nice ass though.” He shrugged.
*****
That was it! You had failed your IsiXhosa language test and you were fed up. You couldn’t fail this damn class. Partly because the perfectionist Virgo in you wouldn’t allow it and most definitely because you were at this college on a full ride.
“So about that tutor…” Aziza mumbled as she looked over a your test. “Pike’s office after class?”
Nodding your head you couldn’t wait for class to be over. You couldn’t help but to let your mind wander as Professor spoke.
The second it was you zoomed towards Pike’s office looking at the list of names. I guess everyone was barely making it through the class, considering there were only 2 names left. There was no way you were going to be tutored African language by some white girl, call it the black in you but that was a no go.
“N’Jadaka Udaku?” You frowned struggling to say the name on the list.
“Well I mean at least you know he’s authentic.” Aziza snickered behind you as you wrote your name and number on a sheet of paper, slipping it into the mailbox with his names over it.
“Now we wait.” You groaned following your friend to the dorms so you brush up on your language and not look like a complete idiot.
Hearing your phone sound off, you realized you had once again fell asleep. “Damnit.” You mumbled scrambling to find your phone and check the message.
‘This is N’Jadaka, ur tutor. Meet me at the library @6. 2nd floor.’
4:45 pm. The clock read as you sat up on your bed rubbing the sleep from your eyes. “Well lets get this over with.” You mumbled to yourself.
It hadn’t taken you long to get out of your dorm and to the library. You’d thrown on a plain black T-shirt and leggings and your was in your normal half up half down hairstyle. “2nd floor.” You mumbled heading towards the elevator looking at your watch. 5:30 pm. You were early.
Making your way to the study rooms, you settled on the room that was ducked off because you were going to need to concentrate hard. Taking out you books and supplies, you sat there waiting on him.
“What’s up, princess?” Erik. You rolled your eyes taking him in as he watched you with a smirk. His black long sleeve made it hard to deny that this man was in shape and definitely had the body of a gawd! His sweats hung low off his lower half but hugged him in all the right places. You were so caught off you had forgot to speak until you heard him clear his throat.
“I’m meeting someone, Erik. Now can you go?!” He’d looked at you for a moment before sitting down anyways. “So what part of I’m meeting someone don’t you under-“
“Igama lam ngu-N'Jadaka, princess.” He interrupted pulling out his books and his student ID for confirmation.
“What?” You questioned. “You have to be fucking with me.” You palmed your face before settling your eyes back on him. He was already watching you with a devilish grin as your mind processed the information. He was probably use to people doing this. You’d realized that he was the one you were waiting on. “I have to get another tutor.” Hopping up and packing your bag, you felt his hand grip your wrist.
“Sit down, princess.” He looked. “And I won’t ask again.”
You most definitely sat your black ass back down. Grabbed your book and got to fucking work. Study sessions with Erik….
******
Your study sessions were coming to an end with Erik due to you passing all of your language based test. Although he was an asshole, he was one of thee best tutors. Erik had made you pass all of your tests and you even had a B in the class.
You were meeting up with him at his apartment to finish up some last minute work from Pike and needed some help. You didn’t really need the help but you wanted to see him.
“N’Jadaka?” You called out stepping into his apartment ,which wasn’t locked, looking around for him.
“Told you don’t call me that shit, princess.” He mugged you coming from the back. “Ngaphandle kokuba igumbi lokulala.”
You rolled your eyes knowing exactly what he said. Since he’d been teaching you IsiXhosa he would talk to you sometimes in the language. Well mostly flirt.
“But it’s your name.” You beamed completely ignoring the last part. “Your given name that I happen to like.” You and Erik has become closer over these past few weeks which you liked but also made you nervous due to his rep. Yeah he was still an ass but he was also brilliant, funny, kind (at times) and fine as hell. You’d learned that he used his real name N’Jadaka for his tutoring sessions so bitches wouldn’t want to be paired with him because it was him, which made sense. Erik had also considered IsiXhosa to be his second language.
“Yo?”
“Huh?”
“Ready to finish up this work?” Nodding your head, you sat on the sofa getting comfortable as he watched you.
“Stop being creepy, N’Jadaka.” You smirked.
“Kodwa ulungile.” He grinned looking at you as you unexpectedly blushed.
“Just help me with this.” You tossed the work at him. “I didn’t get some of them.” You lied.
“You’re a bad ass liar, princess.”
“Are you going to help or not N’Jadaka?” You scoffed as you slightly slid your feet onto his lap.
“Real comfortable, huh?” You couldn’t do anything but shrug as you began to work finish up your work.
“Shit.” You mumbled looking at the time. You’d feel asleep. ‘What the hell?’ You questioned feeling something hard wrapped around you body as you woke. You relaxed once you realized it was Erik’s arms slung around your waist. “Erik, I have to go.” You hummed attempting to get out his embrace.
He stirred for a moment before finally getting up and going into the back. “Wait a second, princess.”
Placing your sneaker on your feet and then your jacket, you stood by the door as you waited for him. You heard his heavy footsteps walking towards you with a slip of paper.
“You forgot to translate this, princess.”
Pushing your glasses up on your face, you down at the paper before looking up him. “This isn’t mine.” You handed the paper over. “So you’ve been tutoring others.” You clutched your heart fake hurt.
He handed the paper over to you again. “Get serious, princess. Read the shit.”
All of it was in IsiXhosa which didn’t shock you but this wasn’t any type of schoolwork. Reading the paper a smile began to form on your face. Ndingakukhupha, uZazie? You read the last line.
“Ewe, N'Jadaka.” You beamed looking up at him as he watched you. “About time, niggah!” You laughed.
“Had to see if you was feeling me, princess.”

The spine chilling shiver had woken you up in the middle of the night. It was cold, colder than normal which meant one thing… your boyfriend was gone. His thick muscular Fran was your natural heater so of course him missing would not only mess up your sleep but have you out here freezing your ass off. You rolled over facing the right side of your shared bed realizing your theory was correct and he in fact was missing.
“Erik?” You hummed as you exited out the bedroom into the hallway. You could here muffled sounds of someone talking and balls of paper crumbling. “Babe?” You called out again stepping onto the cold hardwood of the living room.
You finally found him with his back facing you hunched over in the black leather chair. You could tell how tense and frustrated he was about something just from looking at his position. Coming behind him, you wrapped your arms around his broad shoulders laying your chin on top of his unruly dreads. “Babe, what’s going on?”
Erik sat there silent as you held him in your embrace. They only thing that could be heard was the combination of each others breathing. You felt bad especially because you didn’t know what to do for your man. He was upset and you weren’t sure why. Making your way towards the front, you viewed everything in Erik’s space. ‘You should’ve known.’ You thought as you looked down at the loose paper, pens and most importantly the infamous black letter notebook. Wakanda. Did you hate Wakanda? No. It was a beautiful place from what Erik had told you, but you did hate what it brought out of Erik at times. “Erik, I thought we talked about this.” You sighed. “I thought you and T’challa were working on the relationship and you were okay with-“
Erik held his thick fingers up silencing you automatically before you could fully go into your rant. “It’s not for revenge, Y/N. You know I gave that up months ago.” The calmness in Erik’s voice made you shiver and rub your round pregnant belly. You knew she was what kept Erik level headed when it came to the subject of Wakanda. “I don’t need the fucking revenge.” You heard a breath release from his nostrils. “At least not yet.” “Come here.” He spoke softly but with such command your feet move quicker than your mind had to process what he had said to you.
You sat comfortably in Erik’s lap as he turned the pages of the leather book. This was the first time Erik had shared it with you. But you understood considering this was one of the last memories of his father so Erik was overprotective of the notebook itself. Of course when he wasn’t around your curiosity had allowed you to peek inside but after awhile of looking you didn’t understand anything so you would normally get frustrated and close it up.
“I know you’ve been interested, Princess.” His hooded eyes looked lazily up at you. “And I know you’ve been looking inside.”
You couldn’t say a thing because he was right. You didn’t even want to know how he knew about you quick peeks but this was Erik and he knew every damn thing you did. “Will you teach me IsiXhosa?” You questioned looking down at him. “For the baby.” You quickly added since he decided state instead of giving you an answer.
The corners of Erik’s lips turned upward into a slight smirk before he nodded his head. “Umntwana.”
“Um-n-tee-
“Umntwana.” You watched Erik’s lips as he broke the word down to you. “For the baby.”
You smiled at him. “Teach us more.”
“Andikwazi ukulinda ukumhlangabeza.” Erik had caressed you stomach with the back of his two fingers.
“You love the baby?” You questioned confused by his foreign statement.
“Of course, princess.” He chuckled. “But I said I couldn’t wait to her.”
Your vision became cloudy as you watch him admire your pregnant belly. Fuck these damn hormones.
“Awukwazi ukuba ndiyakuthanda kangakanani, princess.” The sentence had rolled off Erik’s tongue with ease as he used the pad of his thumb to wipe away the spilled tears.
“Erik, what does that mean?” You chuckled snuggling against your boyfriend to keep from crying more although you knew the water works were coming.
“Figure it out, Y/N.” He chuckled as he handed the leather book to you with the IsiXhosa and English terms. “I’ll wait.”
“You’re an ass.” You mumbled looking down at his precious leather book for answers. “But we love you.”
