reading song of achilles at long last bc a. the odyssey shifted me into classics mode and b. it was on kindle unlimited. and it is perfectly enjoyable so far but it’s funny that this is considered literary fiction bc uhhhh [checks notes] the sex scenes have lots of metaphors I guess? the way this differs from all of the historical yaoi I’ve read this year published by indie romance imprints or self published is exactly zero lol
