There were few things Bambietta looked forward to anymore. As much as she enjoyed mindless manslaughter and being drenched in gallons of blood, another subject was on her mind. It hadn't gone away since the beginning on the past month, but only now had she remembered to act on it.
It was the Fear Angel's birthday.
She could never, ever miss it. The Stern Ritter had no need for any sort of celebration, and in fact hardly acknowledged each other date of birth, but Bambietta had been counting down the days since the very start.
No Birthday was without a gift- and knowing he would probably shove a physical item somewhere in the depths of his quarters, an even better idea popped into her mind. Why not...make him something? To eat that is. Though, that mask was a bit difficult to make it possible. or so she thought anyways- endless possibilities and setbacks swirled in her mind, but it seemed to stick.
A large setback however was the Vandenreich wasn't exactly well known for carrying such cooking ingredients to make the cake the girl had imagined. Sprinkles, frosting, flour and candles were an oddity that would have in no way made it to the hands of the small Stern Ritter.
But there was no stopping the fearless Stern Ritter 'E'- she had a way.
Hours later, she still sat, patting down a substance together, surprisingly it stuck with little effort. Their headquarter was an ice encrusted building after all- why not use such a thing to her advantage?
Finally she was finished. It wasn't quite a perfect circle(More like a lopsided Oval on top of bigger lopsided ovals.) and she couldn't fit or carve in the entirety of 'Happy Birthday' so the word 'Happy was the only word slightly visible. Now, she couldn't move this ice cake, so she waited and waited, and it wasn't before long her presence was noticed. It wasn't too long before As Nodt realized there wasn't a tiny little girl pestering him everywhere he stepped.
Pure silence greeted Basterbine, before her voiced cracked as she squeaked, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY-!" Before throwing herself into his arms, tightly squeezing him against her body. " Look, look what I made you. It took me like, 3 hours. Whole hours. Entire hours."
It took a couple of moments before he nodded slightly, placing a cold hand atop her head- a quiet thank you.
"Idiot." He mumbled, gazing down at the fully capitalized 'HAPPY' that seemed to yell at him from the ice. What a 'cake' it was.
"Sorry we can't really eat it. I mean you could. But you'd get a terrible brain freeze..Er...Happy Birthday again..." Bambietta smiled warmly, nuzzling against his hand, and pressing herself against him once again in a warm embrace. " Jerk."
