I feel so bad I want to draw more FOM things cause I have wips that weren’t touched in a very very VERY long time!😭but I’ve been locked in with my book I’m writing!

Maybe I’ll make some sketches and lore dump before throwing myself into rendered pieces again🤔is that an ok idea? Do people read those?? Are they interested?? Am I talking to myself??? Stop. Ok my bad.

Fields of Mistria OC Question!

Within your personal lore for your character--what do you imagine their first time passing out in the mines was like? Was it exhaustion? A monster attack? How do you think they got back to the entrance of the mines (just enough energy to crawl their way back? draconic magic?)? Who do you think found them?

If they were taken to Valen's clinic, how did they react to waking up there/needing the care?

Elodie was comically terrible at fighting at first but she fought with confidence. Slimes are her enemy…her arch nemesis…but like she’d chill with one if it didn’t hurt her (love/hate relationship🫶). She blacked out after getting hit by several rocks and woke up in valen’s clinic (it’s rumored that the one slime she has beef with shot her back up to the entrance where Errol found her soon after). She didn’t mind being at the clinic (CRUSHHH YUHHHH) all too much but failing at completing her goals in the mines (she wants to explore the mines to find secrets that’ll help her personal goals) made her frustrated to no end. So she’d keep going no matter how many times she gets beat up…my stubborn baby😭🤍

Caldarus would advise her to think before acting and really learn how to master her skills but she wasn’t a great listener </3 not until she got that lesson knocked into her…and shot…and shocked…and slapped…

she’s better now tho!! The mines hate to see her coming!!!!

#YUMETOBER DAY 1: FIRST MEETING

ignore how day 1 took me 6 days ... it's been a rough week.... they first met on the ruan mei/ratio missions!

it was eens's first time at the herta space station and they found themselves exploring the large space ship. a bad sense of direction (and an odd trick of fate?) causes eens to wander into an area where a man wearing a.... statue head? plays chess by himself.

how sad, eens thinks. she acts on that thought by approaching the man — his head doesn't move, she's unsure if he's aware of their presence — and... standing there, the question of 'would you like company?' stuck in her throat as she tries to make sense of his moves.

a muffled voice escapes the unmoving mask. "you have been eyeing my every move with such scrutiny. is there anything you would do any differently?"

even while sitting, the man has an imposing aura about him. eens raises their arms and makes an 'x' with her hands. "oh, no no, i don't know how to play! i was just curious if you needed... company.....?"

the man crosses his legs and waves his hand. a stool phases into the spot on the other side of the chessboard. eens sits down tentatively.

"an intellectual game of chess is adequately fulfilling as a game for one," he rearranges the pieces back to their default positions, "though it seems you would benefit from this test of intellect."
